Zane Simon & Connor Ruebusch are back with the MMA Vivisection PRELIMS SHOW, breaking down a set of SIX preliminary bouts on the UFC Vegas 6: 'Lewis vs. Oleinik' event. Sign up for ESPN+ and watch UFC VEGAS 6: ‘Lewis vs. Oleinik’ - #UFCAPEX at: go.web.plus.espn.com/c/482924/56698…id=BloodyElbow It’s a bit of a strange card this week for the UFC, the main event between Derrick Lewis and Alexei Oleinik has the potential to be a serious slog. But, much like the co-main between Omari Akhmedov and former champion Chris Weidman, it could just as easily end in an instant. Stan & Nick discuss last weekend's UFC FN in which Derek Brunson finished the previously undefeated Edmen Shahbazyan. A complete breakdown of Saturday's entire UFC Fight Night where Derrick Lewis goes up against Alexei Oleinik & the MMA Geeks Betting Guide.
This week on Heavy Hands, Connor and Phil praise Derek Brunson for getting better, and squirt Derrick Lewis with the water bottle for thinking he gets to do the same. Who does Derrick Lewis think he is, trying to be good at MMA? Selfish bastard! Anyway, he's probably going to send Alexei Oleinik to hell Chris Weidman vs Omari Akhmedov is one of those special fights: very weird, sort of depressing, but undeniably interesting Long Back Benny is back to sling punches with the very durable but not very damaging Scott Holtzman Has Nasrat Haqparast learned any lessons about fighting wrestlers since his loss to Marcin Held? plus: Shahbazyan's missing jab, Derek Brunson's rebirth, and Lando Vannata's continuing struggle to be reborn

Shaun and Chuck recap a rare midweek event as Glover Teixeira put himself back into the Light Heavyweight title mix with a brutal win over Anthony Smith and discuss whether Lionheart's corner should've thrown in the towel, if Glover's career resurgence is for real, and more. Then, the guys talk about Drew Dober's breakout performance against Alexander Hernandez, and who makes sense for him next, Ben Rothwell's callout of Alexei Oleinik, OSP's potential at Heavyweight, Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou going back and forth on Twitter, hinting at a potential future fight, another frustrating Michael Johnson loss, friend of the show Brian Kelleher continuing his winning ways as a Contender Series Slayer, and his callout of Sean O'Malley, and Andrei Arlovski's uncanny ability to continue fighting at a high level for the last two decades. Plus, a discussion about Conor McGregor's post-UFC 249 tweetstorm, and if Justin Gaethje should fight him or Khabib next, a UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris preview, and as always to close the show, the guys hand out their Interim Titles of the Week. To open the pay-per-view main card, Greg Hardy earned an uninspiring decision over Yorgan De Castro.
