Nate Diaz was in a brawl in Thailand? I react to that video, plus I tell you why I believe Diaz is totally serious when he hints about returning to the UFC. And Conor McGregor says he's in serious talks to buy OnlyFans, but I don't believe him. Plus, Arman Tsarukyan apparently likes the idea of fighting Paddy Pimblett. I like the matchup as well, but I have one major issue with it. Meanwhile, while clearing up my feud with Islam Makhachev, I found out what's next for Justin Gaethje. Plus, Sean O'Malley is reportedly training with Demetrious Johnson ahead of his rematch with Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316, and you have no idea how badly I want to see that in-person. And, my reaction to Dvalishvili revealing he broke his toe just two weeks ahead of the fight. And finally, Jon Anik thinks Belal Muhammad will face Shavkat Rakhmonov next. On today's episode, I break the news that Tom Aspinall will face Ciryl Gane — not Jon Jones — for the for the interim heavyweight title (again). Then, a trusted source tells me that Justin Gaethje will get the next shot at Islam Makhachev, not Ilia Topuria. And, Dricus Du Plessis broke his silence on Twitter, telling the public that he has a fight announcement coming soon.Next, how is Nassourdine Imavov ranked No. 1 in the middleweight division ahead of Khamzat Chimaev? And apparently Topuria is getting a title shot during International Fight Week, but it's unclear who he'll fight. Plus, Conor McGregor says he'll only return for a stadium-sized event, but I don't believe him. Daniel Cormier IS BACK with his INSTANT REACTION to Khabib Nurmagomedov publicly stating Islam Makhachev WILL NOT FIGHT Ilia Topuria for the UFC lightweight championship. Despite Topuria "being promised" the title fight for vacating the featherweight belt, Islam's team has DOUBLED DOWN on turning down Ilia. See why DC thinks that Justin Gaethje or Paddy Pimblett should fight Makhachev next, and why a Paddy Pimblett vs. Dustin Poirier fight in New Orleans could be the PERFECT No. 1 contender fight. If we told you going into UFC 313 that Magomed Ankalaev would go 0-for-12 on takedown attempts in his light heavyweight title fight against Alex Pereira, would you have thought that shaped up as a win for Ankalaev? Yeah, we wouldn't either. That's what happened, however, with Ankalaev using a surprisingly effective striking attack coupled with a suffocating clinch game to take the strap from Poatan. And look, we get it. Everybody loves Pereira. We do, too. Literally nobody (besides his friends and family) is excited for the Ankalaev Era. But was Ankalaev's performance really as boring as some people are saying? Or is that just our sadness about Pereira getting the best of us? Plus, Dana White says a rematch is probably next for both guys. Is it, though? And we all know Justin Gaethje's got that dog in him, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that he's also really, really, really good. Learn more about your ad choices. Fresh off UFC 313, Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell are back in NYC to break down all the action. Magomed Ankalaev dethroned Alex Pereira to capture the Light Heavyweight title despite going 0-11 on takedown attempts. Given Pereira's recent reign of terror, how surprising was Ankalaev's ability to pressure, control the pace, and use angles and technique to neutralize one of the sport's most dangerous strikers? In the co-main event, Justin Gaethje relied on veteran guile to outwork Rafael Fiziev in their rematch and keep his place in the title picture. At 36, and coming off a brutal knockout loss to Max Holloway, Gaethje proved that he's still an elite lightweight. Were the whispers of his decline premature, and does he have one more title run in him? Looking at the bigger picture, does Dana White have a star problem? With more champions being labeled as “boring,” is the UFC facing a marketability issue? Plus, the guys dive into all the latest boxing news from the weekend. Learn more about your ad choices. What's the worst kind of fight? A tough-ass matchup against an opponent nobody cares about. That's exactly what Pereira has on his hands against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313 on Saturday, so much so that everybody involved (except Ankalaev) appeared put it off as long as they possibly could. But, here's Poatan, at 37 and sitting on the brink of cleaning out the light heavyweight division, facing his fourth fight in just under 12 months against the man some say shapes up as his stiffest test at 205. Ain't that just the way? Plus, Rafael Fiziev seemed to surprise even himself by getting the call to step in for Dan Hooker in the co-main event fight against Justin Gaethje.
