Recently, I had a very crazy idea to voice log a day in my weekend life in NYC! It took a lot to put it together but I'm so happy to see it worked out!I had such a cool and cozy Saturday ft. Laundry, a visit to the nail saloon, plant mum duties md. Poking a typical Nigerian breakfast.  I also had a friend over the whole day and we had a lot to catch up on and chat about -  age-old gender roles and societal expectations,  the unequal division of household chores and pressures, Vitamin D for Black people, cultural ignorance and offensive assumptions/stereotypes about Nigerians. I really hope you enjoy listening,  and enjoy getting to know me a little bit better as this is nothing like I've ever done before.Today is also Nov 23,2023  - Happy Thanksgiving if you're reading this today! With the main and co-main getting a big change when a fighter from both had to drop out from injury Enter Alexander Volkanovski and Kamaru Usman, who step in for huge opportunities! It was no dream. There is no waking up from this one. Sean Strickland really DID show up on Saturday at UFC 293 and take the middleweight title from Israel Adesanya by shocking unanimous decision. This was no lucky punch or freak injury. Nope. Sean Strickland just went out there and did Sean Strickland stuff and Adesanya basically had no answer for it. Un-fucking-believable. Did we (and by "we" I mean I -- Chad) make this happen? Look, we were just trying to bring some Silly Little Guy energy to our bets on last week's Power Hour, but it seems possible we did spark the wrath of the MMA Gods by including Izzy in all of our parlays.
