Brendan Schaub breaks down one of the wildest weeks in MMA — from backstage fighter chaos to Dana White's stories about Francis Ngannou, to Conor McGregor's psychedelic reset in Mexico. This episode dives deep into the real drama happening behind the scenes in the UFC, the title-shot picture across multiple divisions, and the controversies shaking up the MMA world. In this episode: • Francis Ngannou vs UFC Brass Brendan reacts to Dana White's claims that Francis grabbed him and UFC execs behind the scenes, and explains why fighter–promoter tension has existed for decades. • Dagestani Fighter Backstage Incidents Schaub calls out the escalating pattern of pushing, slapping, and confrontations among Dagestani fighters during UFC events — and why they get a cultural “pass” others wouldn't. • Sorukyan, Topuria, Paddy & UFC Lightweight Politics A full breakdown of who actually deserves the next shot, why Sorukyan is the toughest matchup, and how the UFC might play the business side. • Islam Makhachev's Next Opponent at 170 Ian Machado Garry vs Michael Morales vs the rest of the division — who truly poses danger to the champion, and why knockout power matters more than rankings. • Mighty Mouse Separates From MMA Guru Why DJ ended their show, what Guru said, and how crossing into mainstream spaces changes the game. • Conor McGregor's Psychedelic Experience A breakdown of Conor's intense vision quest in Mexico — including the “Jesus crowned me” moment — and why he may finally be trying to change his life. • Kamaru Usman on Being Knocked Out Usman explains what he remembers (and doesn't) from the Leon Edwards head kick, and Brendan expands on what really happens during a KO. • Gable Steveson KO & Past Allegations Schaub reacts to Gable's insanely fast KO and breaks down the controversy surrounding his old legal case and the Minnesota intoxication loophole. On today's episode of Good Guy/Bad Guy, Daniel & Chael recap a loaded fight night from Qatar this past weekend that saw two contenders rise to the top. First, did Arman Tsarukyan do enough to officially cement himself as Ilia Topuria's next opponent for the lightweight championship? If not Arman, then who... and if not Arman, than what else does Arman need to do to finally get a crack at the title? In the co main event, Ian Machado Garry reigned victorious over Belal Muhammad and called for a shot at Islam Makhachev for his first title defense of the welterweight crown. There are a ton of contenders vying for the shot at the champion, so no better time for DC to break out his match-making skills. Then, ahead of WWE Survivor Series this saturday, "Dirty" Dom Mysterio joins the show as he gets ready to seek revenge on John Cena. Learn more about your ad choices. Jim and Matt kick off the show with British bantamweight Davey Grant, who joins live from the UFC Performance Institute as a brand-new Las Vegas resident. Fresh off rehabbing a torn bicep and injured nose, Davey talks about settling into life stateside, training his kids at Syndicate MMA, and why moving to America has changed the way he studies the sport — including watching fights live with a pen and paper to stay sharp on evolving MMA trends. The guys then unpack all the biggest storylines from UFC Qatar, where Matt takes a well-earned victory lap after going 2–0 in his picks — correctly calling Arman Tsarukyan's arm-triangle finish and Volkan Oezdemir's stoppage win.Later, women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko joins the show to discuss balancing her pursuit of all-time greatness with her creative “side quests,” from acting roles to drawing on her degree in film direction. With several options in front of her, Valentina reveals she's keeping a close eye on a potential trilogy with Amanda Nunes — especially now that the Lioness has expressed interest in meeting her again, this time at 125 pounds. Finally, in the wake of Ian Machado Garry's statement decision win, which capped off two straight weeks of top-flight welterweight action, Jim and Matt close the show by debating which 170-pound contender has earned the next shot at Islam Makhachev's welterweight title.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen dive into a massive week across fighting, comedy, and culture — starting with Islam Makhachev's dominance at welterweight and why nobody in the top 10 can solve the problem at 170. From Shavkat, Ian Garry, Michael Morales, and Belal Muhammad to Tsarukyan and Ilia Topuria potentially moving divisions, the boys break down every realistic path to beating Islam.Brendan also recaps Tiger's elite Texas flag football team — a squad of freak athletes, former NFL-dad genetics, and opponents who look “twelve going on Saquon Barkley.” They talk youth sports intensity, insane matchups, and playing at Dallas Cowboys facilities. Then the guys react to UFC 322: Shevchenko vs Zhang, JDM vs Islam, the wild grappling chess match, Craig Jones' prep, and what it really takes to close distance on a Dagestani wrestler. The episode takes a hard turn when Billie Eilish calls out Elon Musk over his wealth. Brendan and Bryan break down why “fixing world hunger” isn't as simple as writing a check, the realities of global infrastructure, and how celebrity activism often oversimplifies complex issues. Finally, they cover the Aakash Singh situation — viral clips, oversharing, backlash, Myron Gaines' response, and why internet dog-piling is brutal for comedians. One of the most packed TFATK episodes of the year — fights, drama, comedy, and chaos. Yeah, so, Islam Makhachev is your new UFC welterweight champion. Not a huge surprise, considering the former lightweight titlist was a solid favorite to dethrone Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322 over the weekend. What we maybe didn't expect was just how dominant Makhachev would be. Della Maddalena had no answers — and, from the looks of it, no plan B. By the end he appeared absolutely miserable out there, getting taken down at will, while his corner seemed fresh out of ideas beyond, “Try to punch him in the face!” You know who else is still really good? Valentina Shevchenko. She convincingly turned back the challenge of former strawweight champ Zhang Weili to retain her women's flyweight gold. Plus, just like Conor McGregor before him, Dillon Danis found out that some people don't play. And Jake Paul is on a suicide mission. But does he know that? Learn more about your ad choices.
