Use smaller property investments as a foundation for learning before progressing to more advanced strategies. Explore opportunities where value can be created rather than relying solely on market growth. Consider whether larger multi-unit properties could accelerate your investment goals compared to acquiring individual properties one at a time. Build a trusted team of specialists, including brokers, solicitors, and accountants, before pursuing complex property transactions. Focus on strategies that improve cash flow as well as capital growth. Review your portfolio regularly to identify opportunities for restructuring or creating additional value. Think strategically about how property can support long-term financial independence rather than simply generating short-term returns. Big Sal from Peshtigo couldn't sleep, the algorithm found him, and now Pack Nation has to hear about it. A Bears YouTube video titled "Poles Cooked Again" sent Sal to his kitchen at one in the morning — and what came out of that kitchen is this episode. Sal gives credit where it's due: January hurt. Caleb Williams was real. But the Packers who lost that wild card game were nine-and-seven-and-one, playing on fumes, without Micah Parsons — who was sitting in a training room with a torn ACL after going down December 14th. Facts are facts. The Bears beat one wounded team, lost in overtime to the Rams two weeks later with three Caleb Williams interceptions, and Ryan Poles is out here getting a B-plus for signing James Lynch (half a sack, one-point-three million) and Jack Samborn, whose primary value is that he can talk football over lunch. Sal breaks out the hardware store infomercial analogy — and it lands harder than it has any right to. Cap space was always the product. Nobody ever showed you the results. The closing promise: Micah Parsons is coming back healthy, angry, and in green and gold on opening day. Write it down. Save the audio. Find it in September. Subscribe, hit the button, and tell a Bears fan — they need something real to listen to. Go Pack Go. This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! Ruthie Polinsky and Clay Harbor open the episode with some fun, as Ruthie pitches her idea for a new Charter Podcast theme song before the conversation quickly shifts to real Bears news. They break down Jack Sanborn's return to Chicago, the addition of lineman James Lynch, and what those moves signal about the team's direction this offseason. From there, the focus expands to the NFC North, sizing up where each team stands heading into the new season. The duo evaluates the Bears' trajectory, digs into the Packers' key departures, examines the Vikings' headline-grabbing moves, and debates whether the Lions are retooling or taking a step back.
The Chicago Bears reportedly boosted their defensive tackle depth Wednesday. They'll sign veteran tackle James Lynch to a one-year deal.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/shaw-local-s-bears-insider-podcast--3098936/support.

Every year, tens of thousands of labourers in the wealth countries of the Gulf, most of them migrants from South Asia, die in unsafe working conditions on construction sites. As the GCC states pour enormous resources into developing their infrastructure, little attention is paid to the plight of the people doing the actual building work. I spoke to James Lynch of FairSquare, a UK-based non-profit that researches and advocates for the rights of labourers in the Gulf.https://fairsq.org/Assistant Producer: Japji Oberoi Hosted on Acast. Recorded on March 1, 2025 at Boundless Mind Temple, NY. "If we say there's a right, there must be a wrong? But if we say harmonious perspective, we can embody the middle path and we don't have to make others wrong. We have to figure out how we can be harmonious with other people that we interact with. It's a radically different approach. It's non-american, and if it's non-american, it means it's subversive. And if it's subversive, it means it could be transformative. And if it's transformative, it could be revolutionary." "Who are you? Are you who the society says you must be, or are you a miracle?" "I think Buddhism is at a crossroads. We can no longer sit on the sides and be observers of the pain of others. We must go into the marketplace with our truth: Causes plus conditions equals outcomes, impermanence, and shatter the illusions that have created destruction and hatred for generations." James Lynch of National Review writes: “Democratic politicians are distancing themselves from the Biden administration's electric-vehicle push to prevent the unpopular slate of subsidies and environmental regulations from tipping Michigan to their Republican opponents. Addressing rally-goers in Flint, Mich., earlier this month, Kamala Harris insisted that the Trump campaign is misrepresenting her record on electric-vehicle mandates…As a senator, Harris co-sponsored legislation introduced by Senator Jeff Merkley (D., Ore.), the Zero-Emission Vehicles Act of 2019, designed to transition the U.S. economy to electric vehicles by 2040. The legislation would require 50 percent of new-vehicle sales to be ‘zero-emission' cars by 2030 and all new-vehicle sales to be emission-free cars by 2040.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/democrats-run-away-from-damaging-electric-vehicle-push-with-michigan-up-for-grabs/ 5:30pm- DOJ Tells Police, Fire Departments That It's Racist to Expect Employees to Know Basic Math. Luke Rosiak of The Daily Wire writes: “The Biden-Harris Department of Justice has undertaken a slew of lawsuits against local police and fire departments alleging that it is racist to require hires entrusted with public safety to know basic math. The lawsuits undermine Kamala Harris's attempts to brand herself as a moderate in the final weeks of the presidential campaign, with the suits both suggesting a dim view of blacks by the administration, and employing the theory of ‘disparate impact,' the radical theory that holds that anytime there are statistical racial disparities, racism must be the cause—even if no one can explain how.” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/doj-tells-four-police-fire-departments-that-its-racist-to-expect-employees-to-know-basic-math
