And Episcopal Church in San Francisco California has played Beyonce’s music during mass. According to the article in the link below, “San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral is planning to host a Beyoncé Mass on April 25, using the pop icon’s music to celebrate black female spirituality.” The fact that Beyonce's music was being played during mass was advertised to draw people into the mass. The apparent intent was to draw in people who belong to different ethnic and minority groups especially black women. Many people have voiced opposition to Beyonce’s music being played during mass. What is your viewpoint on this? Should certain types of music not ever be listen to? Or should certain types of music be restricted from church? Should only Gospel Church type music and hymns be played or performed in church? Listen to the brothers in the virtual living room of the body of Christ Church as they examine the Holy Scriptures for the answers to these questions and others. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5ad8c8f1e4b03c426dac52d1 We air programs on Blog Talk Radio at the following times: Sun 1:30pm, Mon 8:00pm, Tue 8:00pm, Wed 7:00pm, Thu 8:00pm, Fri 7:00pm & Sat 9:00am. On this edition, JR and the Crew discuss Snoop Dogg's recent profession of Faith and his new Gospel Album. Is it real? Can a man who has produced so much music that seems to degrade culture become a believer? Also, a Church recently had a "Beyonce Mass". Is the Church becoming a celebrity culture. Listen to what JR and the Crew have to say. Share with your friends.
Was a San Francisco church's Beyonce Mass a celebration of God through Beyonce or flat out blasphemy? That's just one of the tough questions The Black Delegates tackle on this week's podcast. We discuss the audacity of caucasity as a white woman in New Jersey berates police officers on the side of the road without getting shot, tased or arrested. Speaking of tasers, a Chicago man cops a feel on an American Airlines flight and takes his tasing like a champ. Kawhi Leonard has beef with Pop and the San Antonio Spurs. And more foolishness from Kanye Kardashian-West.
