Former deputy prime minister and One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce grabbed headlines after snapping at a misbehaving dog on live TV. This isn't the first time Joyce has been caught in dog related controversy, as he once threatened to kill actor Johnny Depp's dogs. Australia correspondent Murray Olds said, "you have to yell at your dog from time to time, but it was honestly, I think anyone who was watching last night started to laugh so hard you'd wet your pants." The moment came as a reporter was interviewing him about Pauline Hanson's latest controversial comments to far-right British figurehead Tommy Robinson. One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has wrapped up her almost two-week trip to Britain and Europe - a trip she called a "fact finding mission".She's copped criticism for appearing on a right-wing podcast and for comments about Muslim Australians and Australia's immigration policies, just as the federal government has responded to the Special Envoy's report on Islamophobia.
During the One Nation leader's two-week trip, which Pauline Hanson called a fact-finding mission, she's recorded a podcast episode with far-right campaigner and convicted criminal Tommy Robinson, stayed at a luxury resort, and been touted as a guest speaker at a political gala dinner closed to media.

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson is once again causing controversy - appearing on a podcast with convicted criminal and far right activist Tommy Robinson in the UK. So who is Tommy Robinson and why is this conversation so controversial?
Charlie Kirk helped build the coalition that returned Donald Trump to the White House, energizing a new generation of conservative voters and uniting rival factions on the American right. His rallies and Turning Point events became a focal point for the MAGA movement, helping to project a renewed sense of confidence among young conservatives. As new court hearings reveal fresh details in the case against his alleged killer, Kirk's death has become the latest flashpoint for conspiracy theories and online speculation, despite efforts to make the legal proceedings as transparent as possible. The case has reignited wider questions about the collapse of public trust and the growing influence of social media in shaping political narratives.Kirk's political legacy continues to shape debates over the future of the Republican Party, as fractures emerge within Trump's coalition and Democrats struggle to generate comparable momentum. With suspicion increasingly defining politics on both sides of the Atlantic, questions over leadership, trust and political unity have rarely felt more pressing. What does it take for a man once called an enemy of the state to say he felt the Holy Spirit move through him. In this episode I sit down with Tommy Robinson, founder of the English Defence League and one of the most controversial and misunderstood men in Britain, for a conversation that goes far beyond politics. Tommy opens up about growing up in Luton, the moment he first spoke out against grooming gangs as a young man, the prison sentences that followed, and the surprising spiritual awakening that has reshaped how he sees his own life and his country. We talk about the Christ is King moment that swept through a crowd of one hundred thousand people, a prayer from strangers in Israel that left him in tears, and what he believes it will take for Britain to find its identity and its faith again. This is a raw and honest look at redemption, purpose, and the fight for a nation, and I think it will surprise you no matter where you stand. If this conversation moves you, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments, and if you have not already, subscribe so you never miss an episode. British Muslims are often spoken about as outsiders, immigrants, or a “problem” Britain must manage. But what if the history of Islam in Britain tells a much deeper story? In this episode of The Ansari Podcast, we sit down with Paul Williams of Blogging Theology to explore the untold history of British Muslims — from early Muslim presence in the UK, to the hundreds of thousands of Muslims who fought for the British Empire, to the postwar workers from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and other former colonies who helped rebuild modern Britain through factories, mills, transport, the NHS, small businesses, mosques, and working-class communities. We discuss Islam in the UK, British identity, post-Christian Britain, immigration, anti-Muslim panic, Tommy Robinson, Christian nationalism, the Pakistani grooming gangs scandal, poverty among UK Muslims, Palestine, Israel, Zionism, and whether Britain is facing a deeper spiritual crisis than it wants to admit.British Muslims did not build Britain alone. Nigel Farage is trying to take back control of the scandal around his finances. Facing mounting questions and a parliamentary standards inquiry which could prompt a recall petition and by-election he has pre-empted it all and forced one himself. He's pitching it as the people against the establishment - the chance to flick two fingers at the media and political opponents, and prove he's done nothing wrong. But will it work? Will it resolve any of the questions about who gave him money, why and why he didn't declare it? Is this a genius masterstroke by a brilliant tactician, or a desperate stunt by an angry man that could backfire? And is it effectively an admission that the inquiry will find he broke the rules? On this episode of The Fourcast, Krishnan Guru-Murthy was joined by the former Conservative now Reform supporting commentator Tim Montgomerie, former Reform Deputy Leader turned Farage critic and rival Ben Habib, who has shared a platform with far-right activist Tommy Robinson, and from More in Common the pollster Luke Tryll.
In September 2025, Elon Musk spoke by video link to a fascist rally in London. Tommy Robinson, the organizer of the rally and a convicted criminal, has been trying to incite a racial war on the streets of Britain. That record of incitement won him the admiration of Musk. Since delivering the speech, Musk has become the world's first trillionaire, boosting his war chest even further. Today's episode is the second part of an interview with Quinn Slobodian and Ben Tarnoff, the authors of Muskism: A Guide for the Perplexed. The interview was conducted shortly before the SpaceX IPO that gave Musk his trillion-dollar valuation. The first part of the interview concentrates on the growth of Musk's business empire with companies like SpaceX and Tesla. This episode focuses on his political turn over the last decade. I first heard the name Tommy Robinson nearly 38 years ago while fishing in Key West. Time and again, anglers spoke about Tommy and his brother, Chris—their reputation as exceptional fishermen extending far beyond Key West to the waters around Apalachicola on Florida's Forgotten Coast. Tommy was born in Richmond, VA but soon moved to Key West where the ocean shaped everyday life. His father, an OB-GYN, famously delivered renowned flats angler Will Benson, but it was the Robinson family's shared passions—diving and fishing—that truly defined Tommy's upbringing. Tommy and Chris began poling the flats at an early age, developing skills that would eventually become second nature. Tommy always knew he wanted to be a fishing guide, earning his captain's license at just 18 years old. He has never looked back. Many of his earliest clients came as referrals from the legendary guide Bob Montgomery, one of the true pioneers of flats fishing in Key West. Before long, Tommy had become captivated by tarpon and permit, dedicating himself to mastering two of the sport's most challenging gamefish. Eventually, another opportunity beckoned. Tommy learned to fly and went to work for Jimmy Buffett, transporting anglers throughout the Bahamas in search of vast schools of bonefish. It was a fitting chapter for someone whose life had always revolved around shallow water and adventure. When that chapter closed, Tommy moved into real estate in northern Florida. Yet fishing remained at the center of his life. He spent years guiding and exploring the waters around Apalachicola long before the area became widely recognized as one of Florida's premier fisheries. Today, he may be every bit as well known there as he is in Key West. More than 45 years after earning his captain's license, Tommy Robinson has never strayed far from the bow of a skiff. Guiding, fishing, and the sea remain woven into the fabric of his life—a lifetime spent chasing tides, reading water, and sharing some of the finest fisheries in the world with those fortunate enough to step aboard.

Can't keep up with Iran? You're not alone. Pastor Stephen Martin and Pastor Daniel Hayworth cut through the chaos and give you a biblical lens on the headlines that actually matter this week — from a "peace deal" that's really a 14-point memorandum to a very public crack in the US–Israel alliance.Watch as the guys break down five stories: the truth about Iran, the New York Times' Father's Day "trans dad," the Fauci files Tulsi Gabbard just declassified, the UK grooming-gang report, and Texas Senate candidate James Talarico. Northern Ireland, the Far-Right, and the Battle for Democracy with Heidi BirickIn this episode of the Explaining History Podcast, we are joined again by Heidi Birick of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism to discuss the recent far-right violence in Northern Ireland – and the global networks that fuelled it.In recent weeks, Northern Ireland was rocked by a series of violent attacks against migrant communities following an incident in which a Sudanese national attacked an NHS worker. The attack was not terrorist-related and had no connection to the wider migrant community. But the global far-right seized on the event, spreading misinformation across social media and calling for violence. The footage of the resulting attacks – houses burned, people terrified to leave their homes – had all the hallmarks of a pogrom.Heidi explains how far-right groups are tightly networked in the online space, sharing messaging across continents, coordinating through unmoderated chat channels like Telegram, and meeting in person at conferences to plan their strategy. Figures like Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk amplified the calls for violence – Musk, in particular, has been openly promoting white supremacist ideas, calling for "remigration", and threatening civil war in the UK.We discuss the alarming power of a trillionaire like Musk to ride roughshod over public order and civil society from anywhere in the world, and the inability of states – even powerful ones like the United Kingdom – to respond effectively. The erosion of content moderation on X (formerly Twitter) has created a safe haven for hate speech, and the US government's hostility to online regulation has made the problem worse. But there is hope. The far-right riots in Belfast were met with an enormous counter-protest the following day – the largest show of solidarity in Northern Ireland since the Good Friday Agreement. Heidi argues that the majority of people reject these ideas, and that movements for democracy and human rights remain powerful. She also reflects on the need for structural solutions – taxing billionaires, regulating media, and rebuilding state capacity to deliver for ordinary people.Topics covered:The far-right violence in Northern IrelandTommy Robinson and Elon Musk's role in spreading disinformationThe global network of far-right groupsElon Musk's influence on content moderation and hate speechThe power of trillionaires to undermine democracyThe ineffectiveness of state responsesCounter-protests in Belfast and the rejection of fascismComparisons with historical fascismThe Henry VII principle and the need to tax oligarchsThe generational battle against hateHeidi Birick is co-founder of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism. Welcome back to PT 2 of the Tom Bilyeu x Tommy Robinson interview. This part of the conversation focuses on the challenges facing British identity and culture amidst rising tensions around immigration, assimilation, and national values. A key theme that emerged was the need for building a positive movement rooted in celebrating British traditions rather than focusing on opposition. The discussion explored the complexities of protest, community organization, and working with authorities to ensure peaceful demonstrations, as well as the impact of government control and media narratives.Several points were raised, including concerns about the integration of Muslim communities, the strain on social systems, and the influence of foreign investment on national infrastructure. The conversation also delved into historical examples, the importance of strong male role models, and the revival of Christian faith as potential steps toward rebuilding a unified and resilient society. Throughout the episode, the speakers emphasized the significance of political engagement, the necessity of open debate, and the pursuit of solutions that honor both tradition and inclusivity, while cautioning against the dangers of polarization and the erosion of national identity.Chapters: 00:00 Purpose of the movement04:06 Inviting Jordan and police relations07:00 Discussion on cultural integration challenges11:57 Halal policies in schools and prisons14:02 Views on immigration and benefits16:43 Concerns about national values and peace19:49 Controversy over Quran verse interpretation25:42 Resurgence of Christian faith in men28:42 Embracing American values and diversity31:25 Warning against manipulation and division35:43 Finding a path from pub life36:32 Men and women's societal roles40:51 Discussing political change and awakening42:53 Closing and subscribe reminderSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Today's conversation between Impact Theory host Tom Bilyeu and Tommy Robinson focuses on the rapid demographic and cultural shifts currently reshaping cities across the West, with particular emphasis on immigration, identity, and social cohesion. One concept discussed was how these changes are sparking some of the most contentious and consequential debates of the coming decade. A key theme that emerged was the tension between traditional national identity and values, and the effects of multicultural communities—particularly how integration, or the lack thereof, shapes perceptions of safety, belonging, and the preservation of cultural norms. The discussion explored personal experiences of growing up in a changing community, the challenges of assimilation, and the feeling of being unable to openly discuss sensitive issues due to fears of being labeled or facing legal and social repercussions. Several points were raised, including concerns over political correctness, the role of government and corporations in mass immigration policies, and the resulting impact on community values and public discourse.Listeners can expect a deep dive into not only the lived realities behind these societal changes, but also the broader forces—political, economic, and cultural—that drive and shape them. The episode presents a controversial and candid examination of what is at stake for the future, and invites audiences to reflect on the values that define collective identity and community in an increasingly complex world.Chapters:00:00 UK immigration and political context16:52 Discussing causes of public outrage21:35 Discussing the George Floyd case39:40 The influence of ideological beliefs52:00 Discussing racial justice and perspectives54:06 Nelson Mandela's Vision for Unity01:10:30 Discussing labor and economic factors01:19:06 AI's role in modern society01:30:53 Modern struggles and wealth disparity01:44:37 Questioning female representation in gaming01:46:50 Discussion on attractive character design02:04:16 Issues with police response to stabbing02:07:34 Obsessing over achieving goalsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
