The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour (2.26) Comedian Nate Bargatze is stepping into the host seat with a new competition show centered on the average American, and the crew weighs in on what that could look like. Then it’s a bummer in candy land: Jelly Belly layoffs hit the news, sparking talk about shifting business realities—even for iconic brands. Next comes the great “pajamafication” debate: should people be wearing pajamas on flights? The phones light up as everyone admits what they actually wear in the air (and what they judge silently). Plus, big changes are coming to downtown L.A. as the Graffiti Towers have new owners—so what’s the plan for the buildings and the future of that skyline icon? And to close it out, a trip report turns into a rant: why are Vegas escalators so filthy and constantly broken—and what’s really going on out there? Tara unpacks explosive claims surrounding a migrant flight program, lawsuit-obtained documents, and allegations of federal surveillance targeting Trump allies. From State of the Union drama to newly surfaced FBI revelations, today's show connects dots the media isn't talking about — and asks why.
Tara exposes newly revealed documents showing illegal immigrant sex offenders were allegedly released into the U.S. after signing paperwork promising “counseling.” She connects the dots between the State of the Union moment when Democrats refused to stand for American safety and what she calls a coordinated internal flight program that sent thousands into red states. The details are explosive — and disturbing.
The Government's hoping to send economic growth sky-high, announcing a 24/7 alternative runway for commercial airlines. It's approved funding for Ohakea Air Force base, near Palmerston North, to run round-the-clock air traffic control so planes can divert there if needed. Associate Transport Minister James Meager says this opens up an easier option for long-haul flights that may run low on fuel. He told Mike Hosking Qatar Airways downgraded its services to New Zealand last year because of how much fuel its planes had to carry. Meager also says they're hoping regional airlines can refinance their debt and make some upgrades as loans are dished out. Golden Bay Air will receive a government loan of around $1.1 million from a $30 million package. Fund administrator, Kanoa, says it's working to fully allocate the rest of the funds quickly, processing loan applications from other airlines. Meager told Hosking loans will be low-interest and paying them back will be a priority. He says if these airlines can't make it work, they've got to find a way to ensure the country has reliable regional connectivity in the long run. Stability appears to have returned in Mexico after days of violence. On Sunday a Mexican military raid killed cartel boss Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, more commonly known as El Mencho. In response, members of his Jalisco New Generation Cartel created havoc throughout the nation - lighting cars and buildings on fire, ransacking businesses, and setting up blockades along major roadways throughout the country. According to authorities at least 62 people have died since Sunday - including cartel members, security officers, and civilians. Flights to and from Seatac to various airports in Mexico were cancelled, as the US government recommended that all US citizens and residents shelter in place. Combine Week Opens Under a Storm Cloud The Detroit Lions hit Indianapolis as travel trouble grips the NFL combine. Flights from the East Coast stalled. Media and colleagues got stuck. Coach and GM podiums scheduled for Tuesday could shuffle. Brad and Dan are slated to speak, but timing depends on who makes it into town. Indianapolis feels familiar. This is the sixteenth combine trip for our on-site voice. He arrived late Friday and is here through Saturday night. The weekend included a stop at the Indiana Volleyball Academy for his daughter's tournament. The weather is stubbornly Grey. A move to a new hotel happens tomorrow to escape the road noise. Lions, Gibbs Eye Highest-Paid RB Deal The headline in Detroit is clear. Multiple reports indicate the Lions and Gibbs are closing on a contract that would make him the highest paid running back in the NFL. The expected figure hovers around $20 million per year on a three- or four-year deal. Gibbs earned it. He changed the offense. Explosive runs flipped field position. Catch-and-run plays from simple swing passes created 25-yard first downs and red-zone setups. He is not a standard running back in this scheme. The Lions built calls to maximize his space and speed. He is indispensable to what the offense wants to do. Market context tracks with that price. Recent top deals include Saquon Barkley at $20 million, Christian McCaffrey at $19 million, with James Cook and Jonathan Taylor lower due to production and injury variables. Age matters. Production matters more. Gibbs checks the boxes for Detroit. Cap Mechanics and What Comes Next Expect the familiar structure. The Lions use void years to ease the early cap hits. Front-loading flexibility keeps space for other premium contracts. That matters because more big checks are coming. Two years from now, more core pieces will need new money. The cycle continues if the window is to stay open. The order of operations explains the timing. LaPorta is still injured. Branch is still injured. Jameson Williams is already handled. Jack Campbell could be next, but Gibbs sits at the front of the line now. The calculus is simple. The Lions do not win as often without him. So the week begins with two watch items. First, how the combine schedule adapts to the travel mess. Second, whether the Gibbs figures solidify near that $20 million average with three or four years attached. The Detroit Lions Podcast will ride both stories from downtown Indianapolis as the interviews start and the deals take shape. #detroitlions #lions #detroitlionspodcast #jahmyrgibbs #contractextension #scoutingcombine #akheemmesidor #joshcuevas Learn more about your ad choices. Bill O'Reilly joins Jillian Michaels for a deep dive breakdown of two explosive crises shaking the world: a potential U.S. war with Iran — and the growing fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein files. With American aircraft carriers and stealth fighters converging in the Middle East, O'Reilly shares rare insight from his private conversations with Donald Trump, revealing what a real conflict with Iran could look like, why nuclear inspections matter, and how U.S. foreign policy shifted under Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Then the conversation turns to the Epstein cover-up. While European countries arrest Epstein collaborators, America's elite remain untouched — including billionaires like Bill Gates and celebrities like Jay-Z. O'Reilly exposes the staggering three million documents in the Epstein investigation and explains the procedural roadblock preventing prosecutions in the U.S. And what are the Clintons really hiding? As Hillary Clinton launches a defensive media blitz pointing fingers at Trump, the facts remain: Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's plane 26 times and hosted him at the White House 17 times. O'Reilly calls on Congress to release the missing Secret Service logs to finally determine who was truly on Epstein's island. This is an unfiltered conversation about war, power, corruption, and the collapse of due process — and why accountability looks very different depending on who you are. No cable-news theatrics. No talking points. Just raw truth about Iran, Epstein, the Clinton cover-up, and what comes next. Subscribe for more unfiltered conversations on Keeping It Real with Jillian Michaels. Africa Highlights and Travel Lessons: Egypt Challenges, Gorilla Trekking, Vic Falls, and Cape TownTyler hosts Non Rev Lounge in Austin with returning guest Melissa and her husband Jay, longtime friends who first met Tyler on a Southwest flight and later traveled together to Hawaii. They discuss Melissa and Jay's multi-week Africa trip planned around Jay's 50th birthday, including missing Tyler's family by a few hours in South Africa due to itinerary timing. The conversation covers a difficult, budget-style stop in Egypt (Cairo) with a non-English-speaking driver, getting lost en route to the pyramids, frequent requests for money from vendors and even a police officer, confusion around museum pickup logistics, being taken to an underwhelming “bazaar,” disappointment about a cheaper-than-expected dinner cruise, and an unpleasant hotel dining payment incident; they conclude Egypt is better done via a prepaid guided tour or river cruise. They then describe traveling through Rwanda and Uganda, visiting the Kigali Genocide Museum (highly emotional and impactful, leading them to skip the planned city tour) and completing a gorilla trek in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest They also recount activities around Victoria Falls such as the Devil's Pool experience on the Zambia side (swimming across, proximity to hippos/crocodiles, and fish nibbling feet), plus zip lining, lion walking (with safety rules and notes about controversy and the operator's reluctance), rafting, and a Botswana safari near Chobe National Park and the Chobe River with many elephants. They touch on flights and logistics—using miles for British Airways into Egypt, buying some intra-Africa flights for reliability (including Ethiopian and Kenya), concerns about weight-restricted flights returning to the U.S. (ultimately flying United to Newark and onward), using candy as a thank-you (sometimes refused as a “bribe”), and doing laundry via sink washing and local services. 00:00 Welcome to NonRev Lounge + Introducing Melissa & Jay01:56 How Tyler & Melissa Met: The Southwest Flight That Started It All02:53 Buddy Passes, Hawaii Trips, and Travel Style Differences04:59 Back to Austin: Texas Weather Whiplash & Catching Up06:07 Why Africa? On today's program, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has sued a small church in California for legal title to its property—but that small church is fighting back. We'll have details. And, a hacker drained $85,000 from an Oklahoma church's bank account. Then in North Dakota, a woman was indicted for stealing over $600,000 from a church she worked at. Both cases highlight why ordinary access to church finances can equal extraordinary losses—and the need for tightening protocols. Also, six months ago, Barnabas Aid came under scrutiny for accusations of financial mismanagement. Now, under new leadership, the ministry is working hard to turn things around. Plus, Bible Study Fellowship prepares its new headquarters in Grapevine, Texas. But first, Agape Flights, a Christian aviation ministry, lost contact with one of its planes last Thursday. The next day, search and rescue teams found the plane crashed in the Haitian mountains. No one on board survived the crash. The producer for today's program is Jeff McIntosh. We get database and other technical support from Stephen DuBarry, Rod Pitzer, and Casey Sudduth. Writers who contributed to today's program include Isaac Wood, Kim Roberts, Scott Barkley, Jessica Eturralde, Makella Knowles, and Christina Darnell. El Paso, TX airspace shutdown has drawn attention due to no explanation given.
