That radish on your dinner plate might make a great villain! Or maybe the kite in the sky or the polka dots on your wife's dress. Sometimes our heroes have to go up against the wackiest bad guys you could imagine. What are the writers thinking? Maybe they do have a plan, because sometimes those weirdos stick around for a while and end up becoming very interesting. Come with us as we examine some of the craziest characters. We discuss several movies... and a TV show
So much to say, as Smashmouth once kind of said. Adam and Aidan talk about the return of Legends of Tomorrow, the end stretch of season four’s The Magicians (hey, it’s Matt Frewer!) and a dumbfounded discussion of Danny The Street on Doom Patrol. Listen below or catch us on iTunes!
Host @AlanaJordan talks about the 8th episode of #DoomPatrol, Danny Patrol based on the Danny The Street storyline of the comics and talks about what it means to truly be comfortable in your own skin… or streets. This week, the boys suffer a technical hiccup and lose a recording, as well as Toby suffering from a back injury, Ron breaking his toe and Luke shaving his face. Like troopers they form like Voltron and attempt it a second time. - Questions start the episode as always, and within these questions they'll let you know what game world they'd live in, and what the glitch would be. They head back down the path of cartoons once more. Toby remembers denim pyjamas and Danny the Street is mentioned a few more times. - They ask YOU what you think they should cosplay as at this years Island Con, so if you have any ideas send them to the boys by clicking on one of the many links over at insertnameherecast.com. - Luke informs all with DC news, and all about the upcoming streaming service. Surprisingly Ron makes a geeky reference, and doesn't mess it up. Although, the C-bomb is dropped… again. - The boys say a fond farewell to Steve Ditko, may he rest in peace. - They also skim over the remastering of Shenmue 1 and 2, which is due for release on 21.08.18 and they look back fondly at the memories that came along with playing them. - If you want to contact the boys, as always head over to insertnameherecast.com and you can send them an email, or visit one of their social media pages. This website is also where their Amazon.co.uk affiliate link lives, slap dab in the centre of their homepage. - The competition is still running, so leave them a review on iTunes for your chance to win.
