Join hosts Dr. Abby Eblen from Nashville Fertility Center, Dr. Susan Hudson from Texas Fertility Center, and Dr. Carrie Bedient from the Fertility Center of Las Vegas as they dive into the role of three key hormones in pregnancy: thyroid hormone, prolactin, and insulin. In this episode, we discuss the thyroid's function and why it's problematic if it works too fast or slow. We explore common thyroid tests, how thyroid issues can impact pregnancy, and their connection to prolactin levels. We also break down prolactin's role, what affects its levels. We discuss the difference between a micro- and macro-adenoma and treatment for both. Additionally, we touch on galactorrhea, a condition causing unexpected breast discharge, and the importance of discussing it with your doctor. We then shift to insulin and its link to diabetes. We explain type 1 diabetes (an autoimmune condition) and type 2 diabetes (where insulin doesn't work effectively), along with the importance of hemoglobin A1C testing. Maintaining proper blood sugar levels before pregnancy is crucial, as poorly controlled diabetes can lead to birth defects, pregnancy complications, and delivery risks. Tune in for expert insights on optimizing hormonal health for pregnancy. This episode was brought to you from ReceptivaDx and RMA of New York.

On today's episode, Joe Saul-Sehy is joined by special guest co-host Len Penzo of LenPenzo.com, along with OG and Neighbor Doug, for a no-holds-barred look at what really derails retirement plans—and how to build a strategy that can handle the chaos. Inside the episode: What to consider when evaluating long-term care insurance How job instability late in your career can throw off your timeline The growing trend of adult children impacting their parents' retirement Grandparents becoming full-time caregivers—and the financial toll that brings Relationship shifts and widowhood in retirement Downsizing, austerity planning, and staying financially flexible Plus, our TikTok Minute features Gary V on why taking a step backward might be the smartest move forward. For two generations, the GOP has stood by and let sanctuary city democrats break the law. Trump finally just put his foot down. (Please subscribe & share.) In this fiery discussion, Lee and Tara expose the case of a radical Wisconsin judge accused of helping an illegal immigrant evade ICE agents inside a courthouse. They argue that leftist judges believe they are above the law, discuss the broader issue of sanctuary cities, and highlight how even liberal legal analysts acknowledge the criminal obstruction. The hosts call for enforcing existing laws rather than allowing political favoritism to override the rule of law.
What a week we have in store for you on the Sean Spicer Show! As we gear up for President Trump's first 100 days, we are bringing you interviews from the White House with Trump cabinet members to update us on everything the president has accomplished thus far. Over the weekend, world leaders lined up to shake President Trump's hand at Pope Francis's funeral. The lamestream media hoax machine did not take a break, claiming the Vatican asked attendees to wear black and released a zoomed in picture of President Trump in a blue suit. All you have to do is zoom out and see that nearly one-third of attendees were in blue as well. President Trump was able to sit down one on one with Zelenskyy to further the efforts of bring peace to the war in Ukraine. Also over the weekend was the WHCA dinner, with a flat out rejection from President Trump and his cabinet and no headline comedian, it was nearly impossible for the WHCA to convince lawmakers and celebrities to attend. Nonetheless, Eugen Daniels couldn't help but pretend the organization is the great arbiter of democracy. More activist judges showed their love for gang members and thankfully Kash Patel and the FBI took them out. Former judge Hannah Dugan tried to obstruct the arrest of an illegal alien and former judge Jose Cano had and MS-13 gang member living in his house. This week are look forward to celebrating President Trump's first 100 days in office. The accomplishments are extraordinary and we have inside access to the White House and cabinet members to give us exclusive details on the promises made, promises kept and what to look forward to in the future. Today, we're talking to our good friend Rob Corzine, vice president of Academic Programs at the St. Paul Center, about conclaves past and present, and how despite humanity's best efforts, the Holy Spirit proves again and again that he is in charge. And our apologies that this episode is dropping later than promised. We decided we wanted to wait until after Pope Francis funeral to drop an episode that was so heavy on conclave talk!Show Notes:Good Pope, Bad Pope: Their Lives, Our Lessons by Mike AquilinaDiscovering the Doctors and Hildegard of Bingen by Emily Stimpson Chapman“I would not say so, in the sense that the Holy Spirit picks out the Pope. . . . I would say that the Spirit does not exactly take control of the affair, but rather like a good educator, as it were, leaves us much space, much freedom, without entirely abandoning us. Thus the Spirit's role should be understood in a much more elastic sense, not that he dictates the candidate for whom one must vote. Probably the only assurance he offers is that the thing cannot be totally ruined. . . . There are too many contrary instances of popes the Holy Spirit obviously would not have picked!” Pope Benedict XVIA Jubilee ChristmasThe Chapman family us heading to Rome on December 26 to spend 10 days soaking in the beauty of Rome at Christmas, celebrating the end of the Jubilee Year, and ringing in the New Year with our new Holy Father (!). We would love to have you join us. The pilgrimage is filling up fast, but we still have room for a couple more families (or quite a few singles or several couples). There are so many graces to be had on pilgrimage—graces of friendship, of learning, of beauty, and worshipping at the very heart of the Church. These pilgrimages are never easy to embark on. Sacrifice is always involved. But if God is calling you to go, this is one journey you won't regret. You can learn more here. This is a public episode. Laylla and Chelle spill the enchanted tea on their magical adventures at the 2025 Sacred Space Conference! From leading their deeply transformative Fool Meditation Ritual to hugging the absolute spell out of some beloved listeners, it was a whirlwind of candles, community, and just the right amount of chaos! The witches share stories from the workshops they attended and the brilliant witches they connected with...yes, we're talking about Mat Auryn, Jhenah Telyndru, Amy Blackthorn, Mhara Starling, Kristoffer Hughes, Christian Brannen, and so many more. There were spellbooks, sacred moments, and possibly a few awkward ones too! Like when Chelle said something very, very cheeky to Kristoffer Hughes, who (thank the gods) found it hilarious. Laylla, on the other hand, may or may not have had an awkward entanglement with Jhenah Telyndru and is now fairly convinced she has to avoid the Avalonian Priestess out of sheer embarrassment.Between the deep spiritual work and the laugh-until-you-snort moments, this episode is part recap, part celebration, and all community.
