The original ending of Jeepers Creepers was supposed to continue far beyond the police station. At Days of the Dead Indianapolis, original Creeper actor Jonathan Breck and creature effects artist Brian Penikas reveal the massive 15-minute climax the production could not afford to film, including a battle atop the Creeper's truck and an oncoming train. They also share behind-the-scenes stories about: • The disturbing "puppet coach" sequence cut from Jeepers Creepers 2 • Why Jonathan Breck shaved his head before his audition • How the Creeper's face, body and weapons were designed • The real human tooth hidden inside one of his throwing stars • Why Justin Long was the first and last actor filmed in Creeper makeup • How Jaws and Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat influenced the first two films Recorded live at Days of the Dead Indianapolis and hosted by Griffey of Misfit Parade and the Messed Up Movies Podcast. Dave reveals what it was like returning as Officer Doofy, why he insisted on playing Ghostface himself, how he performed the killer's voice live from beneath the mask, and the injuries and stunt work behind the physical comedy. Felissa discusses her love for the horror community, joining Joe Bob Briggs on The Last Drive-In, her upcoming projects, and her personal vision for the future of Sleepaway Camp, including a possible Aunt Martha prequel she would like to direct. They also discuss: • Working together on more than 45 movies • The chaos of improvising on low-budget horror sets • Felissa's upcoming projects with Danielle Harris and David Howard Thornton • Dave working with Glenn Danzig, Luke Wilson, and Nick Swardson • Their upcoming movie Haunted Hookers • Underrated films from their careers • What Scary Movie should parody next • Why Felissa refuses to stop trying to cast Dave in her movies Recorded live at Days of the Dead in Indianapolis. Heather shares why she never realized the original film would become a horror phenomenon, what it was like bringing Wes Craven's surreal nightmare sequences to life, and why Nancy Thompson continues to connect with audiences more than 40 years later. She also discusses: • Why Wes Craven brought the franchise back to Nancy • The deeper meaning behind Nancy's death in Dream Warriors • How closely Wes Craven's New Nightmare reflected her real life • Her thoughts on another generation taking over Elm Street • Working with Danielle Harris and Scout Taylor-Compton on Last Chance Motel • Why she considers "final girl" a limiting and potentially sexist label • The advice she would give her 18-year-old self Recorded live at Days of the Dead in Indianapolis. Miss Jaye is back at it with her biggest, boldest episode yet! She starts off by talking a little bit about the relaunch of the World of Champagne as well as the upcoming "sister site," LifeStyle By Janessa, which will include all of the great makeup content you expected in the Makeup Forum and dialing it up to 10! Then she sets up the interview by tackling the problem of transphobia in horror, specifically looking at the 3 horror movies most commonly cited as being transphobic: PSYCHO, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and SLEEPAWAY CAMP. Miss Jaye acknowledges that queer theory can sometimes forget about the real human beings that exist beneath the theory, and offers her commentary in the spirit of finding alternative - and potentially liberating - readings of the texts rather than to refute or minimize the voices of trans people who feel hurt by these portrayals. She goes deep into what SLEEPAWAY CAMP is presenting, and after engaging with a piece for Horror Society written by trans author Emma Alice Johnson she offers up a surprising reading of the film that posits a different worldview...and questions who might be the true villain of the piece. After the film analysis, Miss Jaye jumps into her supersized interview with icon and legendary scream queen Felissa Rose! Felissa originated the role of Angela Baker that was later played by Pamela Springsteen in two sequels (that are much more explicitly transphobic in tone) before returning for an unexpected role in RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP. The two discuss the film in depth: how Felissa got the part, what it was like working with director Robert Hiltzik, and how she feels that Angela came to do the things she did. They also talk about some of Felissa's other iconic roles in indie treasures like VICTOR CROWLEY and Tommy Faircloth's FAMILY POSSESSIONS (and his upcoming feature, A NUN'S CURSE). They also talk about fan culture and Felissa's favorite thing about traveling to conventions. After the interview, Miss Jaye shares the story of how she first met Felissa at Days of the Dead Indianapolis in 2016! This is Miss Jaye biggest - and we think best! - episode to date!

Call me crazy, but I think Dream Warriors is the most fully realized of the Nightmare movies. It successfully works to expand the mythology all the while setting the tone for the sequels to come. The cast was relatable for a mostly teen ensemble and the dream sequences were among the most memorable of the series. This year we celebrate 30+ years of the beloved sequel. We were lucky enough to catch up with Nancy herself, Heather Langenkamp, at Days of the Dead Indianapolis to talk about her memories of Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Enjoy!
