My guest, Dr. Ramani Durvasula is a psychologist, professor, author and speaker. Her most recent book, Don't You Know Who I Am?, provides a deep insight on how narcissism is impacting all of us, what it is, and what we can do about it. Her work focuses on the impact of narcissism, entitlement in high conflict personalities in our relationship, health, workplace, and the world. I had to deal with a narcissist. I was in a relationship with one and it messed up my life, but it turned out to be a gift because now I know how to value myself better. And I'm sure all of you came across a narcissist at some point in your life. If you're still dealing with one or if you are in a relationship with one or if you just want to know how to spot one so you won't get hurt, this is the episode for you. Dr. Ramani is brilliant. The conversation was awesome and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it just as much as I did. And now without further ado, on to the show!
Toxic people and how to take back your life. This is a must-listen for anybody who interacts with other human beings! My first interview with Dr Ramani last year became the MOST-WATCHED and MOST-COMMENTED-ON video of all time on the healthHackers® YouTube channel. Her latest book, “Don't You Know Who I Am?": How to Stay Sane in an Era of Narcissism, Entitlement, and Incivility,” is about to go on sale and Dr R spoke to me ahead of its release to share some fascinating insights. In this episode, you’ll discover:
