We've made it to the season finale of The Last of Us and the season finale of Videodrone with special guest GREG LARSEN. Ellie's still on the hunt for Abby, there's a cliffhanger, there's a weird creepy island, and (thankfully) there's no Skellingtons. How did we feel about this episode, the season as a whole, what are our predictions for the next season(s) of this show, and does Mr. Oily exist within The Last of Us universe!?Little break from VIDEODRONE after this while we wait for a sick new series to cover. Head to patreon.com/filthycasualspod for our weekly bonus show about TV, movies and other shit! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
One day we'll be fondly flashing back to this weeks episode of Videodrone with guest GREG LARSEN but for now, we're in the present, recording this episode of Videodrone where we recap the penultimate episode of season 2 of The Last of Us. Pedro is back, the great Joey Pants makes an appearance, and we're wondering how much they're going to cram into next weeks season finale! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We're coming to you live from the Tullamarine airport car park with special guest GREG LARSEN to discuss episode five of season 2 of The Last of Us, including the coolest graffiti we've ever seen, which bits of this episode we were scared of, and which Festival we think the executives in at HBO are attending. GREG LARSEN joins us for another recap of The Last of Us. As Ellie and Dina arrive in Seattle, they have two huge life developments to confront, we learn more about the mysterious "Scars" and the WLF, and of course we're visited by our old friends The Skellingtons. After last weeks brutal episode we're back this week with Australian media bad boy GREG LARSEN. Ellie wants to hunt down the people who killed Joel but will the council of Jackson allow it? What's with these whistling people in the woods? And why have they cut out our favourite character from the video games? As always, we're doing a full episode analysis and then a clearly labelled section where we spoil upcoming plot points from the games! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Special guest GREG LARSEN joins us once again to chat about a massive episode of The Last of Us, featuring an event that anyone who's played the game has been anticipating and dreading. There's a snowstorm, a horde of infected, some golf clubs and one of the most brutal episodes of television in a long time. We're breaking it all down and then doing a clearly designated spoiler-section where we look ahead at what we know about this story from the game. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
THE LAST OF US is back on our screens and so of course that means that we are back recapping every episode here on Videodrone with special guest GREG LARSEN! If you listened to our sister podcast 'Clicker? I Barely Know Her' during season one, then you know what to expect: a full breakdown of the episode, focusing only on what we've seen in the episode, followed by a clearly marked out spoiler section where we talk more in depth about how the show relates to what we know about the story from playing the video game! A man is in police custody after a series of vandalism attacks on electric vehicles took place in Auckland. Cars including Teslas and a Polestar electric vehicle were reportedly spray-painted - making them unsafe to drive. Auckland City Electric Vehicles director Greg Larsen says the Tesla brand has become a 'political football' as a result of CEO Elon Musk's recent actions. "It's quite interesting that a motor vehicle brand has become a political football - and violence and vigilante kinds of activities are happening because of a vehicle brand." The demand for electric vehicles has continued its decline. Last year importers across the country were scrambling to meet demand, and Auckland City Electric Vehicles was awaiting one of their largest shipments. Since the axing of the clean car discount, BMI Research figures suggest that the total decline in EV sales will fall by nearly 11 thousand vehicles this year. Auckland City Electric Vehicles CEO Greg Larsen told Mike Hosking that every manufacturer is going down the EV track, and he thinks they may have gone too fast. Leguizamarama is thrilled to be joined by Greg Larsen this week! He is a phenomenal comedian, writer, actor and podcaster and genuinely one of the most talented people we know. To show him our appreciation for coming on the pod, we made him watch a failed pilot from 2012 titled "The King of Van Nuys" which is one of the most bizarre things we've watched in the history of Leguizamarama."The King of Van Nuys" is an American remake of the extremely popular British sitcom "Only Fools and Horses." It tells the story of brothers Del and Dustin. Together they try a bunch of get-rich-quick schemes, but we only have the chance to see one of them because after the pilot was released, the show was dropped. Dropped hard. John plays the slick, wise-cracking Del. His grandfather is played by Christopher Lloyd who is known for playing the role of Doc Brown in the "Back To The Future" trilogy. If you didn't know this fun fact about Christopher Lloyd, you best believe that "The King of Van Nuys" will remind you about 47 times throughout the 22 minute episode. Hosted on Acast.
