We spoke to Jay a week ago today, so about a day and a half after The Ohio State men’s basketball team beat Villanova 76-51, and the day after it was announced that Chase Young would be able to return to the football field for the Penn State game. In our conversation we talk about both the Buckeyes’ win over Villanova and the Chase Young suspension, as well as Chris Holtmann’s impact on the OSU program, what Jay’s seen from the Ohio State freshmen in the early going of the season, his very strong feelings about the NCAA’s rules and how they are applied to student athletes, and much more.
