Carl and Mike open up the show with their reactions to news of the Hawks denying the Knicks an opportunity to interview Quin Snyder to which they both find interesting as they believe the Hawks head coach has not yet done anything in terms of the team yet to advance past the play-in round of the NBA playoffs, leading them to question if Hawks denying the Knicks the interview validates how much they believe in Snyder.
In the opening hour of "Dukes and Bell", Carl Dukes and Mike Bell kick off the show with the news that the Hawks blocked the Knicks' request to interview Quin Snyder for their head coaching position, was that the right move? Then, we talk about the chances that a professional hockey team could be coming back to Atlanta. We close the hour giving some final thoughts on the Falcons' minicamp.
HR1 - Braves looking like team with potential again after series win vs. Brewers In hour one Mike Johnson, Beau Morgan, and Ali Mac let you hear Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Raheem Morris talk about how the team's rookies are developing well, but the team is not thinking about who the starters are yet. Mike, Beau, and Ali react to what Coach Morris had to say as well, and talk about how the Falcons are worried about perfecting the rookies' techniques, and not who's starting. Then, The Morning Shift crew recaps and reacts to the Atlanta Braves beating the Milwaukee Brewers 6-2 in their rubber match and winning their first series since winning two of three in Boston against the Red Sox from May 16th to May 18th. Mike, Beau, and Ali also talk about how the Braves have started taking advantage of opposing pitchers' mistakes again. The Morning Shift crew also talks about the biggest local and national headlines in The Front Page! On this edition of The Front Page, Mike, Beau, and Ali recap and react to the Indiana Pacers beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-107 in game three of the NBA Finals last night to take a 2-1 series lead. The Morning Shift crew also talks about how the Pacers outperforming the Thunder in fourth quarters is why they have a 2-1 series lead in the Finals right now. Mike, Beau, and Ali also react to the New York Knicks requesting to speak to Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder regarding their head coaching vacancy, and getting their request "firmly denied" by Atlanta in The Front Page as well. Finally, The Morning Shift crew closes out hour one by diving into the life of Ali Mac in Ali's Mac Drop!

Mike, Ali, and Beau spend some time with Atlanta Hawks' guard Dyson Daniels! Mike, Ali, Beau, and Dyson discuss if Dyson's background in Australian rules football helped him with his basketball skills, what Dyson's golf game is like, what clicked for Dyson here in Atlanta that led to him having his best season and winning this year's Most Improved Player award, how Dyson is celebrating winning the NBA's Most Improved Player of the Year award, Dyson's favorite type of beer, Dyson's golf club length, what the conversations were like between Dyson, Quin Snyder, and Trae Young when he got here to Atlanta about what the expectations are for him, how important Dyson's parents have been in his life and in his career, what next season will look like for Dyson coming off his Most Improved Player year, what Dyson will be working on this offseason, and what Dyson does to help with and work on his hand-eye coordination.
HR3 - Dyson Daniels wants to add more “wiggle” to his offensive game this offseason In hour three Mike Johnson, Beau Morgan, and Ali Mac let listeners call in and talk about their confidence level in the Falcons' defense, and if they think Beau has lost his mind for not getting his wife Amy a Mother's Day present for her first Mother's Day in the Wake Up Call! The Morning Shift crew also dives into the life of Beau “Squidbilly” Morgan in The Life of Squid Mike, Ali, and Beau continue the final hour by spending some time with Atlanta Hawks' guard Dyson Daniels! Finally, Mike, Beau, and Ali close out the final hour spending some time with 92.9 The Game's own Braves insider and reporter, Grant McAuley! Beau, Mike, Ali and Grant discuss what Grant thought about the Braves series finale loss to the Rockies, what Grant thought about Brian Snitker's decision to start Eddie Rosario in the series finale of the Rockies series instead of Alex Verdugo, which guy on the Braves' has surprised Grant the most this season, if there should be concerns with Austin Riley's strikeout rate, what Grant likes about the way Grant Holmes has pitched this season, how this homestand is going to be a tough one for the Braves, Chris Sale looking better after struggling a little bit to start the season, if there should be concerns behind Chris Sale's dip in velocity, and if the Braves would consider starting Chris Sale every six days once Spencer Strider comes back.

Andy and Randy talk about the Hawks missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season and what it say or means for Hawks head coach Quin Snyder.
Dukes and Bell get into a conversation on NIL and the transfer portal and react to recent comments from Fran Brown as he spoke on why he selected to allow wide receiver Trebor Pena to transfer after requesting $2M to which he explained he did not believe Pena was worth the amount and was ok with him hitting the portal. As the guys share their thoughts, they each agree the best way for there to be some type of control with NIL and the portal will be for more coaches to take this type of stance. The guys then switch gears to some brief Hawks talk and bring up a tweet which asks should Quin Snyder's job be in question if the hawks are eliminated.
Dukes and Bell open up the show with Hawks talk and react to their loss to the Magic, putting them in a win or go home situation as they'll now face the Bulls or Heat in an elimination game. As they share their thoughts, they note how poorly the Hawks shot throughout the night, largely in part because the length of the Magic players caused issues, especially for Trae Young. They then discuss the two technical fouls given to Trae Young which led to his ejection and both guys believing Young may need to step back from arguing with officials and Quin Snyder should be the one at the forefront of arguments with refs.

0:00 ... Ross hello, welcome, and introduces the panel. 0:37 ... Ross dedicates episode #133 to Toumani Camara of the Portland Trailblazers, who happens to wear jersey #33. 1:04 ... Bet Online Live Commercial Read 1:41 ... The show begins with a recap of the strong week by the up and coming Atlanta Hawks. Head coach Quin Snyder is in his second full season and really seems to be getting his program established with a young team. 6:29 ... The Cavaliers beat the Celtics on Sunday to remain on top of the eastern conference with a 17-3 record. It appeared to be a "statement win," but was it really? Bruce has his doubts. Ross expressed concern over the recent struggles of Jrue Holiday. 12:50 ... Boston may have lost to the Cavs on Sunday but they've been bolstered by the return of Kristaps Porzingis, who missed the first 17 games of the season after having off-season surgery. The guys discuss what his presence means for the Celtics. Bruce feels Neemias Queta did a great job while Porzingis was out and his presence should help Al Horford stay fresh for the playoffs. Ross loves KP as a "first basket" betting option for those who like to wager. 15:46 ... Sunday night's battle between the OKC Thunder and Houston Rockets featured a gritty win by the Rockets, who are playing tremendous defense under coach Ime Udoka. OKC misses Chet Holmgren and even with the return of Isaiah Hartenstein, the Thunder are struggling to rebound effectively. World B reminds everyone that Jalen Green of the Rockets needs to shoot a higher percentage from the floor if the Rockets are to make noise in the playoffs. 23:01 ... Our NBA Cup breakdown begins with Group A in the East ... Will the Knicks get past Orlando on Tuesday night and clinch a spot in the knockout round? The crew is split on who will emerge. World B concludes with a very bold prediction about the Magic. 28:49 ... Group B in the east comes down to the winner of Detroit vs. Milwaukee on Tuesday night. Our crew likes the Bucks but the Pistons can clinch the wild card even if they lose ... as long as they don't lose by more than 5 points. 32:48 ... Group C in the east has already been clinched by the Hawks. The Celtics could emerge from the bracket as the wild card team, but they'll need help from Orlando and a large margin of victory (7 points or more) between the Pistons and Bucks regardless of which team wins. 33:55 ... Group A in the west has already been clinched by the Rockets so the Blazers and Clippers have a shot at the wild card, but both teams will need help from elsewhere in order to advance. The Clippers have a slightly better chance than Portland. 38:03 ... Group B in the west has the most intrigue on Tuesday. The Thunder clinch at least a wild card if they beat Utah on Tuesday. The Spurs clinch the group with a win over Phoenix but if San Antonio loses, there's no path to the wild card and it opens the door for Phoenix to possibly grab the wild card if Dallas lays an egg against Memphis. 40:42 ... Group C in the west has been clinched by Golden State. Dallas grabs the wild card with a win over Memphis. If the Grizz beat the Mavs and the Nuggets beat the Warriors, both Memphis and Denver could theoretically advance to the wild card, but there are many scenarios that would have to take place for that to happen. 43:22 ... Final Thoughts: Bruce feels there could be a new "Batman" in Memphis with Jaren Jackson Jr emerging as Ja Morant's virtual equal. 45:08 ... World B's final thought is on the Magic and how they'll become a real threat to do damage in the playoffs if they regain their health. They may even be Boston's toughest matchup in the playoffs. 46:18 .... In Ross's final thought, he surprisingly sees a good future for the Toronto Raptors if Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley get themselves rolling to go along with RJ Barrett, who has played well. 47:23 ... Ross says goodbye TRT 47:40
