To say what I did for this was an undertaking is fairly accurate. You can look at title and think I am doing just two maybe three things this round. Well you would be very very wrong my friend(s). While I do review Chrome Shelled Regios, interesting title I know, and Eden of the East plus the Eden of the East movie: The King of Eden; I'm also reviewing 6 other shows. Some may look twice at that number and wonder what I was thinking and then also wonder if the show is a little over 40 minutes how is he reviewing 9 shows? Well while I do fully review the first 3 anime I announced above the remaining 6 shows are covered respectively in about 12 minutes. So for my First Impressions, as I like to call it, I'm going over Girls Bravo, Gun Sword, Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Dragonaut: The Resonance, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, and also Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne. I really think I covered a good range of shows this week and hopefully you enjoy the show! Opening Song- Irony by ClariS Closing Song- Dance Rock Night by Girugamesh
Hey, this is Doctor. Since there is not going to be a release for a little while due to us going Anime North, I thought it would be best if I at least post this on the feed for people to listen to until we get back. Here is a Bonus Round episode I did for Anime 3000 not long ago. I guess you can consider this a pseudo Challenge Accepted... Visit www.ssaapodcast.com for the full notes

Don't be nasty, or rude... this might not last as a segment idea, but we thought we'd give it a try. OG "guess the character in the envelope" Contest The papercraft contest was too hard, no one made the deadline, so Bryce had a really good idea this week, for a contest. The cast has picked an anime character, wrote it down on a piece of paper, and sealed it up in an envelope. You the listener must figure out who the "character in the envelope" is... For this first week we just made the announcement of the contest. The prize will be a pack of goodies, a Lisa Ray CD, a T-Shirt from J-List, and maybe something more *hint*hint*cough*... So you ask what are the rules? Well they're pretty simple. First off, we will only accept one guess per email, once a week. If you put more than one guess, in an email, we will only take the first guess. You cannot enter more then once an week, and not more then once per email. Please pay attention to the use of the word "character", it could be a person, animal, car, mech, bryce, paul, a tree, a rock (assuming they are portrayed as "character" some how), almost anything. Each week will reveal a little more about the "character in the envelope" in an anime, until some one guesses it right, and wins. As usual listen to the show for more details, and email your guesses to: otaku.generation@gmail.com, and use the subject line of: OG CHARACTER IN THE ENVELOPE CONTEST Weekly News by Bryce :: (news@otakugeneration.net) NEW update for Final Fantasy XI Robo Reb goes to school Square Melons?
