This is a short episode. Get over it. It's Paul's fault. Being a famous Bay Area comedian comes with its scheduling conflicts. Still a fun episode nonetheless. No need to go into detail about what Cotton and Pauly talked about because the show is over before it starts. Enjoy!email ---> cottonpaulyblend@gmail.cominstagram ---> @paulconyersThank you for listening and please rate, review, subscribe AND tell your friends... or tell strangers. It doesn't matter. Just tell people about the podcast.
God has amazing patience, but He's also the perfect disciplinarian. Mike, Heather, and Grant tackle 1 Corinthians. It's Paul's stern letter to the church in Corinth that seems too happy to reflect the sinfulness of the world, and not the redeeming righteousness of Christ. The folks soon learn that just as they were saved only by the power of Jesus, they too should live holy lives through Christ's power!
It's Paul's pick today and wow did Paul pick a stinker. A fun one though. Paul had Jonathan and his special guest James M watch this fun little B Movie. If you haven't seen it please go watch it and then come back and listen! It's pretty entertaining!
Another bush tucker Headline or Hearsay plus eating without a kitchen. It's Paul, Hayley and Lauren, waking up the Isle of Wight. Sponsored by Wightfibre.
It's Paul and Al's tenth anniversary episode, where they remember Anthea Bell, laugh for quite a long time about Writer X and the "revelation" of his identity, and chat briefly about Vault Comics' new YA line (in particular, about Paul Tobin and Colleen Coover's Wrassle Castle), before going into extended examinations/rambles/digressions about The Green Lantern and Lost Light, and once again raid the playbook of excellent videogame podcast Bitsocket as they play Is It Canon?. They've also got messages from some of their friends in the comics podcasting world, and the audio from the SILENCE! To Astonish panel which took place at Thought Bubble in September, featuring Gary Lactus and the Beast Must Die of SILENCE! and an all-star line-up of guests (John McCrea, Matthew Rosenberg, Sam Humphries and Babs Tarr).
It's Paul's pick for Trade-In-Policy! The boys are reviewing Brian Micheal Bendis' Man of Steel mini-series from DC Comics. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
It's Paul's turn to get his fanzine on this week and Daniel turns back to the ol' faithful which wins maximum points for having the best front cover of a magazine EVER! It's Paul pick for the TRADE-IN-POLICY, and he picked The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars-Part One. He also gave Chris and John more ammo to drive him nuts. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
It's Paul's birthday week and as usual he's staying busy, teasing us about his future plans! Plus, I sure hope you didn't visit the Abbey Road crosswalk last week, intent on taking "the shot." You'd have been disappointed.

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. (Galatians 1:6-7 ESV) The gospel is the heartbeat of Christianity. The truth that God has come in grace to forgive our sins is the key that unlocks an understanding of truth and life. The ripples of that message should be felt in every area of your life. This should be a truth that we understand, feel deeply, and are ready to defend and die for. It should be apparent that this is exactly where attacks to the truth will take place. However, what may not be apparent is where those attacks will originate. We would expect them from those outside as they seek to discredit this truth, but what about from the inside? What about the religious? Wouldn't they be die-hard defenders? Galatians is a hard book that calls us to awareness and defense of the gospel. It's Paul's strong cry to be aware that the gospel will be attacked, but maybe not in the way you think.
It's Paul's birthday, so the team do their best to ignore it up right until the end and then start to take the piss. Meanwhile football stuff happened.
