We are joined today by Joining Call director Ash Blodgett (LaughstashTV) and writer Pat Edwards (The Red Opera). Joining Call is inspired by the major life shift we all have faced during quarantine. It’s the story of a group of people trying to connect via video chat to play D&D, but issues keep getting in the way. Things like kids not going to bed, couples at each other throats, and you know, basic internet connection problems. It’s a heartfelt and honest look at what it takes to connect with friends during a global pandemic. We chat about the inspiration and process of writing and making a film during quarantine and the creative solutions it leads to for filing during lockdown. Pat Edwards of Apotheosis Studios chats about his latest project The Red Opera. This 5e campaign and setting book is based on DiAmorte's heavy metal album of the same name, and builds a world of warlocks for your high level party to explore. The Red Opera will be running through October 1, 2020, and you can find it on Kickstarter now!
