Neram ist Interkulturelle Hebamme, Doula und Womb Health Consultant. In dieser Folge erzählt Neram von ihren insgesamt vier Geburten in Amsterdam und Bogotá. On this episode I chatted with Lacey and Hank alongside cohost Matt Randall. Lacey is an Okie through and through. She grew up in the small town of Kiefer. Always fascinated with the sky, lightning, hail, and, yes, tornadoes. Most of her life she knew what she wanted to do when she grew up. She wanted to be a meteorologist. Lacey attended the University of Oklahoma, interned under the legend Gary England. Lacey's first job landed her in Sioux City, IA. After her time away, Lacey made it back to Oklahoma joining the News 9 weather team in 2011. Hank Brown attributes his passion for severe weather to his father who exposed him to it at an early age. One of Hank's first memories is standing on the porch watching a tornado with his dad while the rest of the family was in the basement calling them crazy. Hank's love of photography and severe weather brought him to NEWS 9 as a StormTracker in 1998. Since then he has traveled thousands of miles chasing tornadoes for Gary England and the NEWS 9 weather team. Woche für Woche ging es um die gleiche Frage: Was ist die eine Idee, die wirklich trägt. 2014 hat er in der Hamburger HafenCity einen neuen Raum geschaffen. Die HONGKONG STUDIOS. Ein 400 Quadratmeter großes Loft. Galerie, Designstudio, Musikraum, Yogastudio. Ein Ort, an dem kreative Arbeit nicht nur stattfindet, sondern zusammenkommt. Unsere zweite Gästin ist Art Direktorin, Designerin und Yogalehrerin. Sie hat an der Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel Kommunikationsdesign studiert, viele Jahre freiberuflich gearbeitet und 2016 das HONGKONG STUDIOS YOGA gegründet. Ein sehr persönlicher Raum für Bewegung, Ruhe und Fokus, eingebettet in genau dieses kreative Umfeld. Seit 2023 führen Vater und Tochter das Unternehmen gemeinsam.
