In this episode, we look at the first sequel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: IRON MAN 2! Does this movie follow the curse of sequels always being bad? Or is there some redeemable pieces in the Iron Man armor? With the world now aware that he is Iron Man, billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) faces pressure from all sides to share his technology with the military. He is reluctant to divulge the secrets of his armored suit, fearing the information will fall into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle) by his side, Tony must forge new alliances and confront a powerful new enemy. BE MY FRIEND:
Mike and Nick dig deep into the first installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Iron Man. Listen to them discuss its impact on the MCU as a whole and how it holds up over 13 years since its release.

Robert Downey, Jr., Jon Favreau, Don Cheadle and Gwyneth Paltrow return with Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, and Rebecca Hall joining them. (With a bevy of supporting performances you would expect from a Shane Black movie!) As you will hear, there were more than a handful of technical issues due to the Santa Ana Winds doing what they do. But, hopefully those hiccups will add to the Shane Black love fest. Even though we don't say it in this episode, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take care of yourselves and those around you. Be mindful of your surroundings. Karate in the Garage Linkages
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Baby Quest is a show where Mike and Leah talk about the trials and even more trials of having a baby. But that's not what this is! This week we present to you a special episode that is all about the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Iron Man. Why are we doing this? I dunno! We just wanted to! It's for fun!Don’t worry, we'll be back to talk about stillbirth, infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and grief next week!NOTE: We mention an episode of another podcast, Sawbones, where they do a big takedown of Gwyneth Paltrow and her fake medicine empire, Goop. However, it turns out that this itself is a bonus episode only for Max Fun members, so I can't link to it here. OOPS! For a real quick summary, the criticism section on Goop's Wikipedia page is basically longer than the rest of the whole entry. Regardless, please feel free to listen to Sawbones: a marital tour of misguided medicine.Send us your questions, comments, or just say hi on Instagram @BabyQuestPod or Twitter @BabyQuestCast! And we even have an email address now: babyquestpod@gmail.com! WOW!

Comments, questions, critiques, and mini-reviews are welcome, and they may even be featured on a later episode. Thank you for your time and support for "Film Is 4Ever."
