Candy Scrooges & Is a Haunted House an OK First Date?
We recorded this episode the weekend after The Snyder Cut came out. I hesitated to even release the episode because the toxic side of the fan base were so honed in on taking down anyone who said anything negative about the movie. Plus it's a little more negative than most of my content so I wasn't sure. After a few months, I finally sat down with the material and realized I might as well share it with y'all. There's a lot of fun throughout and Jon's ALWAYS a delight as a guest. I broke it up into 6 parts and epilogue not JUST to be hilariously like the movie we talk about but also to give everyone a chance to take breaks and come back to it later without feeling like you're gonna forget a bunch of stuff. It's all non-sense and random thoughts, but I still do little previously ons in case that's your jam.Anyway, please enjoy this episode that no one asked for as we push on to the next!

Replay from 2016 as we prepare the last three eps in January. First in our series on Ronald Reagan that will have twelve episodes. The Presidency we discuss almost didn't happen. A look at the attempt on Reagan's life, his first year and why the shooting was not an unimportant incident of his Presidency but directly connected to his performance in the first year. We also go over the Dozen Ronald Reagans Concept - that there are twelve different aspects to him to examine both in reality and in the perception of Reagan in political debates.

In our current What in the World Part 2 series, we are answering questions you had asked us at the end of last year. Sometimes, when we read the scriptures, there are questions about the text that we don’t know how to ask (or maybe verbalize); this series was a way to try to answer some of those lingering questions. It seems the questions that many have about the scriptures come from personal experience and pain. Here is this week’s question: “What is the deal with Lot’s daughter sleeping with him? As an abused daughter, I wonder why God would allow that in the bible. Nothing else is said, like it is no big deal. This gives weak minded fathers the ability to think it is OK?” First, the bible nowhere condones this type of behavior, the story is recounted in the Scriptures for a purpose. Second, it is a good question because our present understanding of these ancient narratives will affect how we live out the good news of what Jesus came to do in our lives.
