This week MVM takes a deep-dive into X-Men: Evolution from the year 2000! Korby finds Gamble at a doorway to the Vezda prison and the Enterprise goes to rescue him. This is a trap to lure out M'Benga, as he and Gamble need to be together to open the doorway. The crew learn that the unique combination of DNA inside Batel matches the biology of the Beholder statue that guards the prison. To open the doorway without M'Benga and Gamble, the crew devise a plan to simultaneously fire on it from the Enterprise and the Farragut; Spock performs a mind meld with James Kirk so the two can perfectly sync their actions. Pike and Batel enter the prison and confront Gamble, who destroys the Beholder and frees the other Vezda. Using her emerging power, Batel creates an illusion in which she and Pike live a full and happy life together. She then traps all the Vezda in the prison and becomes the Beholder. Polska może być zwornikiem regionu, jeśli zbuduje własny przemysł obronny i wprowadzi strategię ustawową – ocenia w Poranku Radia Wnet Piotr Woyke, dyrektor Instytutu Wschodniej Flanki.Polska armia nie utrzyma zdolności bojowych, jeśli w całości będzie oparta na imporcie broni – ocenia Piotr Woyke, dyrektor Instytutu Wschodniej Flanki. Jego zdaniem konieczne jest wprowadzenie długoterminowej strategii przemysłu obronnego na poziomie ustawy i stworzenie organu koordynującego cały sektor. Żaden premier RP nie dopuści do bankructwa Ministerstwa Obrony Narodowej, zwłaszcza gdy mamy palącą się granicę wschodnią i wojnę tuż obok. Ale problem struktury długu i finansowania zbrojeń jest realny. W krótkiej perspektywie może zacząć przygniatać budżet MON-u– powiedział Woyke, odpowiadając na pytanie czy MON stanie się niedługo niewypłacalny. Jak podkreślił, trzeba uniknąć sytuacji, w której Polska staje przed wyborem „armat albo masła”, kosztem polityki społecznej czy gospodarczej.Własna produkcja zamiast importuKluczowym rozwiązaniem jest rozwój rodzimego przemysłu.Kupując w Polsce, mamy ogromne zwroty podatkowe. To nie tylko bezpieczeństwo, ale też oszczędności w budżecie– wskazuje dyrektor Instytutu.Przypomina, że polska zbrojeniówka była ofiarą nieudanych konsolidacji i politycznych rozgrywek, a spółki państwowe często nie znały potrzeb wojska.Nikt nie może sprawnie zarządzać firmą, jeśli nie wie, czego oczekuje klient. Wojsko zmieniało wymagania, nie informowało spółek, a na koniec kupowało sprzęt zagraniczny– mówi Woyke.Amunicja i dronyEkspert wskazuje, że Polska powinna skupić się na specjalizacjach, które można szybko rozwinąć. Jednym z przykładów jest produkcja amunicji wielkokalibrowej.To absolutnie podstawowa rzecz na współczesnym polu bitwy. Zużywa się jej tysiące sztuk dziennie. A jej produkcja nie jest szczególnie skomplikowana– zaznacza.Jako przykład „diamentu” polskiej zbrojeniówki wskazuje Grupę WB – dziś jednego z największych producentów dronów w Europie.Ta firma działa skutecznie, dostarcza sprzęt na czas i zdobywa kolejne kontrakty eksportowe– mówi.Strategia i koordynacjaWoyke podkreśla, że wszystkie kolejne rządy przez 30 lat nie miały spójnego pomysłu na przemysł obronny.To nie jest ani sektor wolnorynkowy, ani czysto bezpieczeństwa narodowego. To bardzo trudna branża, z niewielką liczbą klientów. Wymaga aktywnej roli państwa– ocenia.Rozwiązaniem ma być strategia ustawowa i jeden koordynator w rządzie.Potrzebny jest organ, który obejmie całość – zarówno przemysł państwowy, jak i prywatny. Musi mieć kompetencje gospodarcze, znać potrzeby armii i wspierać eksport. Żadna firma nie utrzyma się długo z jednego klienta– wskazuje.W jego ocenie konieczny jest też fundusz wsparcia przemysłu obronnego, który dostosowywałby pomoc do skali firm – od gigantów jak PGZ czy WB po małe start-upy.Polska jako zwornik regionuDyrektor Instytutu Wschodniej Flanki wskazuje na przykład Turcji, która dzięki konsekwentnej polityce rozwinęła własny przemysł obronny, dziś produkując samoloty, czołgi czy drony.Turcja pozyskiwała technologie, ale teraz dysponuje własnością intelektualną i swobodą eksportu. Polska powinna mieć podobny cel– podkreśla Woyke.Podsumował, że „wizyta prezydenta Nawrockiego w Waszyngtonie pokazała jasno, że istnieje szansa, aby Polska była traktowana jako zwornik regionu – przynajmniej w zakresie bezpieczeństwa”.
