Dear friends,This episode of Two Ways News brings us to one of the most controversial passages of the Bible. Since the Sexual Revolution and feminist movement of the late 20th century, the roles of men and women have been fiercely debated in our society. Within the church, this topic has been contested with the main focus being on the various ministries of men and women. So when we come to 1 Corinthians 11 and read of women praying and prophesying, our debaters are alerted to possible data for discussion. But when it turns to the head covering of women, the issues brought up are very complicated. I doubt that our discussion here will be the last word or even a significant turning point in the debate. But I hope that, irrespective of the debate, we may make 1 Corinthians 11 a little clearer.By the way, I recently spoke on Prophecy Today at the Kings Birthday Conference. You can listen to the recordings of that conference at phillipjensen.com.Yours,PhillipFreely available, supported by generosity. If you enjoy Two Ways News, why not lend us a hand? Dr. Jimmy DeYoung Jr. is a speaker, teacher, Mideast guide, videographer and speaker on Prophecy Today. He lived and worked in Jerusalem for many years before he returned to the states for continued ministry. He is a fully credentialed journalist and has led numerous tours to Israel. He is one of the speakers on Prophecy Today. This past Saturday, the U.S. engaged in a joint military strike with Israel on the nation of Iran. The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been killed along with more than 40 senior officials. President Trump announced that 10 Iranian ships have been sunk and that the U.S. has lost 4 members of the military in the line of duty. Numerous components of this strike are discussed, but it's having ramifications far beyond the Middle East. Dr. DeYoung talks about these players such as Russia and China. Has the U.S. strike on Iran released Russian leader Vladimir Putin to now unleash his own attack on Europe? Also, prior to the U.S. strike, China was receiving oil from Iran? How will they respond? These are just two things to consider, along with interesting audio from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on prayer, as Jim and Dr. DeYoung examine this strike, Operation Epic Fury, both from a political as well as a prophetic perspective.

Yesterday the news broke. Hamas had agreed to the first phase of a peace deal that would free the remaining hostages, while Israel's troops would withdraw from Gaza. In addition, Israel will have to give back about 250 terrorist Palestinian prisoners who are serving life sentences, along with about 17 others who were arrested after the October 7th massacre. When will the remaining Israeli hostages be able to walk free? Will releasing 250 terrorist Palestinian prisoners merely reset the clock for the rebuilding of Hamas? Has the IDF stopped fighting in Gaza? What affect is all this having on the Israeli cabinet? These are just some of the questions that are answered on this edition of Crosstalk, as Jim and Dr. DeYoung discuss: Operation: Returning to Their Borders, which is based upon Jeremiah 31:16.
