Governor Cyrus Habib.  Cyrus was elected Washington State’s 16th Lieutenant Governor in November 2016 at the age of 35. He had previously been elected to the State House of Representatives in 2012 and the State Senate in 2014, where he was Democratic Whip and a member of the Democratic leadership team. As Lt. Governor, he is President of the State Senate, serves as Acting Governor whenever Governor Inslee leaves the state, and oversees an agency whose key issues include economic development, trade, and higher education.A three-time cancer survivor, Lt. Governor Habib has been fully blind since age eight. His parents immigrated to the U.S. from Iran before he was born, and he is the first and only Iranian-American to hold statewide elected office in the United States.He is a graduate of Columbia University summa cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa, Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and Yale Law School, where he was Editor of the Yale Law Journal. Lt. Governor Habib practiced law at Perkins Coie, and served as Distinguished Lawmaker in Residence at Seattle University Law School. Kriya Yoga é um meio pelo qual as pessoas podem transformar sua consciencia. Ela permite às pessoas realizarem seu potencial de acordo com a evolução do corpo. Há uma série de diferentes cérebros começando com o reptiliano. A próxima camada de desenvolvimento é o cérebro dos mamíferos. Este permitiu à consciencia entender e se relacionar com os outros. A evolução então nos proveu com o córtex cerebral. Está é a parte mais alta do cerebro. Ele permite pensamentos e experiencias muito avançadas. Mas agora os pesquisadores estão reconhecendo o coração como a quinta parte do cérebro. As técnicas permitem o desenvolvimento das partes superiores do cérebro, e também a função completa do cérebro para ajudar as pessoas a terem uma consciencia diferente. As técnicas são especificamente relacionadas com a fisiologia do corpo. Elas permitem a pessoa elevar sua consciencia e colocar sua mente superior operando através do coração. Esta não é uma noção sentimental. O coração é 60% tecido neuronal e pesquisadores tem mostrado que o coração é um dos primeiros instrumentos da habilidade intuitiva de um ser humano. Portanto, a Kriya tem esta habilidade de trazer esta mudança evolucional, ajudando que o potencial de cada ser humano atue de acordo com a vontade de Deus. Nosso entrevistado é o norte-americano Robert Henderson (Gonesh Baba). Ele é graduado em Direito pela Universidade de Maryland e Seattle University Law School. Kriya Yoga é uma série de técnicas, baseadas nas leis da fisiologia humana relacionadas à consciência. Kriya Yoga utiliza técnicas que causam nítida mudança fisiológica, que ocasiona uma alteração da consciência. Certas técnicas de Kriya induzem a várias ações reflexas, que diminuem a frequência cardíaca e aumentam o fluxo de sangue para o cérebro. Isto, então, causa uma alteração na química do cérebro, que leva a um calmo estado de concentração. Outras técnicas de Kriya utilizam a respiração. Existe uma relação direta entre consciência e respiração, com diferentes frequências respiratórias para diferentes estados mentais. Durante o sono, a respiração é lenta e calma. Em momentos de raiva, a respiração se torna muito rápida. Durante concentração profunda, a respiração é muito sutil. Quem nos esclarece sobre essas técnicas é o mestre Gonesh Baba (Robert Henderson). Ele é graduado em Direito pela Universidade de Maryland e Seattle University Law School, foi iniciado por Paramahamsa Hariharananda em meditação de Kriya Yoga em 1985 e conviveu um longo período na presença de seu Mestre. Em 1993, foi autorizado por Hariharananda a iniciar e ensinar meditação em Kriya Yoga. Desde então, dedica parte do seu tempo com a família, o trabalho e na divulgação dessas técnicas ao redor do mundo. Programa exibido em 18 de Fevereiro de 2010.
