NEW FCC Rules that impact Preppers and New Hams In September 2017, after a comment period, the FCC made changes to Part 95 Personal Radio Services Rules which included a restructuring and reorganization of the rules.  Some of the changes became effective immediately and the final change becomes effective September 30th, 2019.  Additionally, the FCC issued an Enforcement Advisory in September 2018 to give notice that the final ‘impacts’ of the new rules would come into effect a year later.  Part of the changes to the rules included a reorganization and re-numbering. Today on Surviving Dystopia we discuss food storage. Is there a magic number or set process to this? Let's have a look into some of the things to consider. Users will be able to fill in their own codes or words to use with a dry erase marker or wax pencil to be reused. Available soon Creator of a large communications mind map - available in 24x36 or 36x48 this has everything on it for prepper hams to include;  how to develop a communications plan Nick will be speaking about this at the Self Reliance Experience in Denver 22nd & 23rd September), band plan, frequencies for personal radio services to include GMRS, FRS, MURS, CB and ham.  There is also information on communications security (COMSEC), information security (INFOSEC), operational security (OPSEC) signals intelligence (SIGINT) etc. to include other agencies frequencies that could provide SIGINT and information in a disaster.  It also includes information on the various satellite systems.
