Pastor Manuel Gonzales Who Will Remove the Stone for Us harvestrenewal.org This Easter we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ and His Triumph over death. This story in the bible reflects the emotional journey of some of His followers after His death. Sometimes in this Christian walk we come to a moment of questioning. Where we question everything, not knowing it has already been taken care of.

Hope Fellowship Church Jan 20 – 26, 2019 ========== What does God do with Us? ========== John 21:1-14 After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will go with you." They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered him, "No." He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught." So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead. 1. Waiting is part of the Process of our lives. James 5:7-8 Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2. When we’re not sure what to do next, do the next thing and trust. Proverbs 16:9 The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. 3.. Jesus is Sovereign. James 4:13-17 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit"— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that." As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. 4. Jesus is always working on our behalf, even when we can’t see it. John 21:15-18 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs." He said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep." He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep. Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go." Caller ID spoofing forges the authentic caller identity, thus making the call appear to originate from another user. In this paper, we propose CEIVE (Callee-only inference and verification), an effective and practical defense against caller ID spoofing. It is a victim callee only solution without requiring additional infrastructure support or changes on telephony systems. We implement CEIVE on Android phones and test it with all top four US mobile carriers, one landline and two small carriers. It shows 100% accuracy in almost all tested spoofing scenarios except one special, targeted attack case.

Here with Us- Immanuel = meaning "God with Us" Mat 1:23 "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us"). That name was first Given to Jesus by the Prophet Isaiah 700 years before His birth: Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. A Baby Changed Everything! Church we have great opportunity to highlight our great hope in Christ this Christmas season- let's do that- Let's herald (Proclaim) His coming like the shepherds did - "Col 1:27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col 1:28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. Col 1:29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me." We need to keep celebrating the Birth, death and resurrection of Jesus our lord- Amen Even the world is getting over the commercialism of Christmas - it's a drag for some - some are just celebrating the best they can knowing this is a special time to relax and enjoy a break- I believe there are more and more cynically asking "Where is this Prince of Peace in a world filled with so much trouble"? But the real Christmas message goes far deeper. . It answers all the great questions that plague the human race at this hour. . The Christmas message is relevant, revolutionary and reassuring to us today. . I believe it can be summed up in three words: a cradle, a cross and a crown. First, the cradle. On that first Christmas night, the Bible tells us about the angel coming to those fearful shepherds and saying, "Fear not, I bring you good news" (Cf. Luke 2:10).

A. David’s Extravagant Kindness to Mephibosheth: 1. David the victor was perfectly entitled to eliminate King Saul’s heirs, but chooses to show kindness to Saul’s grandson Mephibosheth, Jonathan’s son. (2 Sam 9:7) Def. Entitlement: the right or authority to do or have something Is there someone God wants you to show extravagant kindness to this week? 2. Mephibosheth called himself “a dead dog,” thinking he did not deserve King David’s kindness. (2 Sam 9:8) In what ways are you like Mephibosheth before God? 3. David granted Mephibosheth to always eat at the king’s table. (2 Sam 9:13) As a Christian, do you feel like an heir to your Heavenly Father’s spiritual kingdom? Especially when you come to the Lord’s Table? B. God’s Extravagant Kindness to Us 1. God gave us Jesus, who laid down his life for us. (1 John 3:16) 2. Therefore we love others with actions and in truth. (1 John 3:18)
