Aswad and Soul Supreme get together to talk about his debut album and the great releases coming from his record label including the notorious 7” vinyl record release - Huit Octobre 1971/Raid. They also talk about the beginnings of his musical journey; the b-boy and hip-hop upbringings. Alongside that Aswad catches up with Walla P about Prime Source. Together they reflect on the past month releases (March was probably the busiest so far this year!). Vendredi dernier, l'équipe du Live session (White Socks et Syde Barrow) accueillait les artistes les plus funkys de Montréal et d'ailleurs! Mark The Magnanimous, Shash'U, Mofak et KenLo étaient présents pour nous présenter leur soirée organisée dans le cadre de la programmation estivale de Jack Of All Trades. Walla P était également de passage pour nous parler de Funk et du prochain vinyle à paraître sur son étiquette Voyage Funktastique. Enfin, Fredy V. nous a rejoint pour nous présenter son plus récent single intitulé Free Yourself, produit par Shash'U. Mardi 30 juin, nous avons eu le plaisir de recevoir Walla P, le créateur du Voyage Funktastique, l'émission de référence des amateurs de modern funk. Nous avons parlé de sa première compilation, sortie il y a quelques semaines, et de son tour d'Europe, au cours duquel il écume bars et clubs, en compagnie de Dr Mad, de Bordeaux à Bruxelles, en passant par Francfort et donc, Paris. Mardi 9 septembre, nous avons eu le plaisir d'inviter le montréalais Walla P pour nos Mix Series de l'été. Il anime et mixe chaque mercredi le Voyage Funktastique sur la radio Choq.ca, avec Dr Mad, où l'on retrouve tout ce qui se fait de mieux en matière de funk : future, modern, electro ou boogie. On a commencé  l'émission avec un  mix de Walla P, puis nous avons continué avec un set fonk de Tibo, et quelques douceurs pour finir.
