This time with IDORU, a Detroit-born, Miami-based musician and label head and co-founder of the electronic music label Manta Recordings. Enjoy, Kurt Kjergaard BIO IDORU is the anti-idol in an age of cult-like self-adoration. Her rebellious sonic signature and personal philosophy embrace the cyborgification of humanity, where human creativity and AI intertwine, forging a sound that's both otherworldly and deeply real. She channels the chaos of our hyper-connected world into dark, groove-driven soundscapes—a spellbinding blend of Detroit minimal techno, futuristic industrial textures, electro beats, and Italo melancholy. IDORU went from childhood piano lessons, to teenage bandcamp playing the jazzy trombone, to digging for hip hop, funk, 80's electronic and metal records in each city she resided. Now, she is co-founder and at the helm of Manta Recordings, alongside label partner, SIAN. She has consistently released dance hits in her genre, proven successful with fellow DJ supporters, garnering top positions in several dance charts. This time with label boss Jason Peters of Roam Recordings from San Francisco, USA. Enjoy, Kurt Kjergaard BIO Jason Peters is a DJ/Producer and the label boss of Roam Recordings. Over the last decade he and his label's output have been at the forefront of the indie dance/dark disco movement. While his music centers around 80s italo, 90s rave, and contemporary indie dance and dark disco, you will also hear rare disco, psychedelic techno, and early house. Jason Peters is also a long time staple of the San Francisco dance music community where he plays regularly for some of SF's more discerning clubs and promoters such as Sunset Sound System, Monarch, The Great Northern, and F8. On Jason Peters' travels outside of the Bay Area he has played events such as SundaySunday, CRSSD festival, Block 9 at Glastonbury, Red Light Radio, Kater Blau, and the Alfresco festival. Ransom Note puts it best: “Just like Jason's own productions, which also appear on the label, the music is dark and hypnotic, cosmic and driving - sounds that'll take you down a wormhole. He began his first steps with music as a hobby at the age of 17, taking his first DJ course at the ORBITAL academy in the city of Cordoba, then followed another path, but in 2021 he decided to re-enter the musical environment to continue growing and generating great presentations. He has currently released 3 of his production projects, the first one called "INTUITION", which also released a remix edited by DIEGO POBLETS, and his second project "INTO IN THE UNKNOW", both released on the RELOAD RECORDS label. His most current project is called METAPHOR which was released on the EPICURE RECORDS label based in France. He also released a remix of DAFT PUNK which had a good impact on the scene. Guada Mariani had great performances in Mexico. One of his presentations was at the largest festival in Latin America "EDC", and he shared the booth with great artists of the scene such as Sasha, Tim Green, Who Else, among others. The artist stands out for her style ranging from house, Indie Dance, Italo, trance. Our guest today is Dj & Producer ELECTRIC VISIONARY from Berlin, Germany Enjoy It Kurt Kjergaard Bio As a Berlin original, Electric Visionary grew up in the legendary Berlin techno scene of the 90s. But T echno has not been her first influence: experimental synthesizer music, especially from the 80s has always inspired and fueled her creativity. After a long journey through different genres of electronica and becoming a vinyl collector, she finally decided to get behind the decks herself. Her mixes combine slapping disco beats with dark melancholic and melodic horror soundtrack as well as retro electro. She also started hosting a recurring event called K3LLR - a dark underground electro party that tries to keep the Berlin underground spirit of the 90s alive and serves as a platform for music lovers to meet. In 2023 she debuted as a producer with her first co-production with Berlin based Italo project “Bino Biscotti” The single “Disco Galactica” was released on Rosso Corsa Records and hit 20K views on youtube within just a few days.
