POPULARITY
It has already become customary for the club capital to plunge into the atmosphere of the EXOTIC project several times a year, when within one night each DJ of the metropolis plays in his set the entire material of only one representative of the world electronic music scene. That night, my choice fell on the tracks of the world-famous Outsiders project, originally from sunny Israel. The history of the sound of the joint brainchild of Guy Malka and Haim Lev began back in 2007 (at least I remember the guys from that time). In the midst of the world's FULL ON sound boom, the guys perfectly joined the dance floors with their morning sound, not much different from the already well-established projects on the trance scene, but perfectly diluting the general sound of that era of psy trance. Soon, the pop and "template" sound (but with good energy and a powerful morning vibe) was replaced by more adult and atmospheric motives. The era of UK FULL ON has begun in the world and the project has perfectly filled this niche, having created a whole collection of wonderful tracks over a long period of experiments, recognized at various clubs, raves and festivals all over the planet. During my perfomance, I decided to combine the two eras of the project, clearly distinguishing them almost exactly in the middle. The "adult" and immersive sound of the Outsiders in the second half of the performance was replaced by the group's early work, which has a more "light" and pop touch. The experiment may not be bad, but to be honest, I did not quite like the energy of the change of two different periods of the musicians' work. I am always very meticulous about the overall picture of my dj set, placing different accents throughout the performance and creating a single story from the sounds. But there is a very clear difference between the old and new Outsiders. But maybe that's all it seems to me. So, I'd love to hear your opinions on this. By tradition - a huge respect to all those present that night. Your energy and dancing are the best gift for me, and there were a lot of such gifts that night! 00:00 01. Outsiders & Cymatic - Other Senses 06:38 02. Outsiders & SpaceNoiZe - Outer Space 09:43 03.
