Robbie Martin returns for another Amerithrax deep dive episode while the 20th Anniversary of the attacks continues. This time the focus is on which parts of the anthrax murders were omitted from the FBI investigation in order to create the appearance that Bruce Ivins was guilty (who committed suicide in 2008 before the FBI could bring charges to him). Most of the epiode focuses on the key omisssions from the DOJ executive Amerithrax summary from 2010 like the AMI building crime scene in Florida, the murder of photo-editor Robert Stevens and the still completely mysterious murder of the only NY anthrax fatality, Bronx hospital worker Kathy Nguyen. These omisssions give the false appearance that a single person using only anthrax laced letters as a murder weapon comitted the crime when the evidence (and FBI statements from 2003) actually show that it was likely conducted by at least two people, using more than just letters to infect and kill their victims. Note: Please download the newly provided Media Roots Radio 'Anthrax Cache' a zip containing over 300 megabytes of raw files from the Anthrax and 9/11 investigations to help add context as you listen to this episode here: https://we.tl/t-DC4x4pSzJo Robbie's Florida 2001 Event Attacks Map will be utilized in the last 3rd of the podcast, if you would like to interact in real-time using the custom map consider becoming a subscriber. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in late 2019, Dr. Anthony Fauci has become a household name. As the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical advisor to the President, Dr. Fauci is the public health official who has been most visible around the pandemic. But his service to our country goes well beyond combating COVID-19. In his nearly 40 years at the NIAID, he has advised every president since Ronald Reagan and has worked to find remedies for HIV/AIDS, SARS, MERS, Ebola, H1N1 (swine flu), and Anthrax. Dr. Fauci talks frankly about what he has learned in his fruitful life and career in medicine, the high praise and scorching criticism he has received along the way, and the unparalleled challenges he has faced in helping to keep our country safe from COVID-19.
Dimitri and Khalid take a dark dive into the “Baseless Conspiracy Theories” surrounding the origins of SARS-CoV2, the pandemic's social dimension and sinister dialectic between the Science Trusters and the Unvaccinated Masses, the lab leak hypothesis explored in New York Magazine and Vanity Fair, EcoHealth Alliance's Project DEFUSE grant proposal to DARPA in 2018, its plan to release vaccinated bats in Chinese caves and spray them with an aerosolized chimeric coronavirus, Dr. Peter Daszak's obsession with gain of function experiments and “preventing the next pandemic”, Daszak's Magic Virus Theory and appointment to the WHO team investigating Covid's origins, his April 2020 open letter in the Lancet denouncing “dangerous conspiracy theories” about the same, former Ft. Detrick Commander David Franz's relationship with EcoHealth (and the 2001 Anthrax attacks), Daszak comparing pathogenic viruses to fallen angels/demons, Dr. Fauci becoming the J. Edgar Hoover of Public Health, and how EcoHealth's milieu might be the PNAC of COVID. Robbie Martin discusses the long memory-holed 2001 anthrax attacks on the 20th anniversary of the first murder, the death of American Media Inc employee Robert Stevens in Boca Raton, Florida (which took place on October 5th, 2001). 4 more would eventually die from inahalation anthrax after 5 envelopes were sent through the US postal service containing terroristic letters attempting to appear Islamic ( 'ALLAH IS GREAT' ) & high-grade weaponized anthrax spores. But what happened with all of those 'hoax' letters that contained fake anthrax? Who were those sent to? Were all these hoax attacks unrelated to the actual murders? Maybe not, as a batch of 3 'hoax' letters was sent from St. Petersburgl Florida with eerie and confusing similarities to the real anthrax letters sent by the anthrax killer. Listen closely as Robbie breaks down the timeline of why these 'hoax' letters and their implications could potentially turn the entire FBI Amerithrax case against Bruce Ivins upside-down. RockerMike and Rob discuss Anthrax Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands (along with Overkill and Nuclear Assault) to emerge from the East Coast. The band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Anthrax sold 2.5 million records in the United States from 1991 to 2004, with worldwide sales of 10 million. Four of the band's studio albums have also achieved gold certifications by the RIAA, including their third full-length record Among the Living (1987), which cemented Anthrax's reputation as one of the most successful thrash metal bands. https://www.anthrax.com/ https://m.facebook.com/anthrax/ https://loudwire.com/tags/anthrax/ https://open.spotify.com/artist/3JysSUOyfVs1UQ0UaESheP https://www.instagram.com/anthrax/ https://music.apple.com/us/artist/anthrax/80417 https://mobile.twitter.com/anthrax?lang=en Please follow us on Youtube,Facebook,Instagram,Twitter,Patreon and at www.gettinglumpedup.com https://linktr.ee/RobRossi Get your T-shirt at https://www.prowrestlingtees.com/gettinglumpedup And https://www.bonfire.com/store/getting-lumped-up/ https://app.hashtag.expert/?fpr=roberto-rossi80 https://dc2bfnt-peyeewd4slt50d2x1b.hop.clickbank.net https://8bcded2xph1jdsb8mqp8th3y0n.hop.clickbank.net/?cbpage=nb Subscribe to the channel and hit the like button --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rob-rossi/support https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/getting-lumped-up-with-rob-rossi/id1448899708 https://open.spotify.com/show/00ZWLZaYqQlJji1QSoEz7a https://www.patreon.com/Gettinglumpedup #heavymetalmusic #heavy #heavymetal #heavyrock #heavymusic #musician #musicproduction #musiclife #musicislife #musicvideo #musicproducer #musically #musicfestival #musicstudio #musicians #musiclover #musicindustry #music --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rob-rossi/support

There was a time when Movie SOUNDTRACKS basically sucked and the only thing that could make them even remotely palatable was the inclusion of a Metal band, really any metal band! (Obviously NOT Europe!). Thankfully, we now live in the modern age, where it's not uncommon to see bands like Slayer and Pantera included on a moving picture soundtrack. (And as you'll soon discover, bolth bands have actually been on several soundtracks, and actually on one together!!!) Time to corral your free-range “pre-steak”, find out the answer regarding “Greg's” whereabouts, butter up the relaxer-infused jerky-flavored popcorn and get ready to JOIN US for some fuun, as we indulge in the “sultry sounds of nice” and stroll through the realm of METAL SOUNDTRACKS. Twenty years ago this month, letters containing Bacillus anthracis spores were mailed to various politicians and news media offices in the US, resulting in illness, death, and a widespread fear that transformed anthrax from an agricultural disease or occupational hazard into a potential weapon of bioterrorism. In this episode, we explore the many dimensions of anthrax, from the different ways B. anthracis can cause disease to the incredibly long and varied history of the pathogen, a history of which bioterrorism is only a very recent part. Adding to anthrax's multifaceted nature is the fact that B. anthracis is an environmental pathogen, one that can greatly impact livestock and wild animals, which requires collaboration across fields to effectively identify and control anthrax outbreaks. To help us explore this pathogen from a One Health perspective, we were so thrilled to chat with Dr. Johanna Salzer, Veterinary Medical Officer in the Bacterial Special Pathogens Branch at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who filled us in on the veterinary side of anthrax, and Morgan Walker, spatial epidemiologist at the University of Florida, who talked us through the environmental factors that affect B. anthracis distribution and emergence. Tune in for a much more than surface-level look at this spore-forming pathogen. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

1991 was an incredible year in music, but it often gets sold short in the music press. When people relfect on the year in music, it's usuallly reduced to something like "Nirvana released Nevermind and all other music died". That couldn't be further from the truth and the IGP Crew is here to discuss it. This is the first of two episodes where we break down many other huge releases from 1991 across all genres. In this first half, we take a stroll from January through June stopping along the way to give credit to the heavy hitting albums that dropped. Queen, R.E.M., Mr. Big, Skid Row, Anthrax, Boyz II Men, Van Halen, NWA and many more are all along for the ride. Debut albums? Check. Now legendary albums? Check. Final albums? Check. Game changing albums? Check. It's all here and that's just for starters. While Nirvana's Nevermind LP did in fact go on to change the landscape of the music scene, the fact is that there's just a lot more to 1991 then that. Come with us as Russ, Michelle & Kyle walk you through the first half of one of the biggest years in the history of music. It's Season 4 (yes Michelle, we're still in Season 4) Episode 7 of the guy who usually writes our descriptions but is dealing with a ridiculous power outage, also known as The Bumper's favorite music podcast and as he would say: LET'S GO!!Keep up with all of the music we talk about in each episode by listening to the Infectious Groove Podcast Companion Songs playlist, exclusively on Spotify.

In the waning days of 2003, a mysterious entity would begin a short-lived campaign of terror.Using the name "Fallen Angel," this mysterious group or individual sent two letters - one without a destination and the other addressed to the White House - which demanded an end to upcoming trucking regulations. Included in the two envelopes were sealed vials containing ricin, a dangerous poison created from castor beans. Months later, trace amounts of ricin would be found in the Washington D.C. mailroom of the Senate Majority Leader, and many believed "Fallen Angel" to be responsible. However, whoever they were, their identity and true motive remains unknown to this day...Episode hosted, researched, written, and produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicTheme music created and composed by Ailsa TravesProducers: Roberta Janson, Travis Scsepko, Ben Krokum, Gabriella Bromley, Bryan Hall, Quil Carter, Steven Wilson, Laura Hannan, Jo Wong, Damion Moore, Scott Meesey, Astrid Kneier, Aimee McGregor, Sara Moscaritolo, Sydney Scotton, Thomas Ahearn, Marion Welsh, Patrick Laakso, Meadow Landry, Tatum Bautista, Denise Grogan, Teunia Elzinga, Sally Ranford, Rebecca O'Sullivan, Ryan Green, Jacinda Class, Stephanie Joyner, James Weis, Kevin McCracken, Brooke Bullek, Lauren Nicole, Shane Robinson, Matthew Traywick, Sara Rosario, and Stacey HouserLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast and others, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron or Producer
The core Anthrax lineup of Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, Frank Bello, and Joey Belladonna, are celebrating 40 years of Anthrax with some great stories about some of the pioneering highlights from their career. They hit on the Big 4 shows, their appearance on “Married With Children,” traveling on Iron Maiden's plane with Bruce Dickinson piloting it, the making of the “Among The Living” and “Spreading The Disease” albums, and Joey Belladonna joining the band. They remember the infamous Roseland Ballroom gig that landed them their first major label deal along with Metallica and Raven, Scott Ian shaving his head and Charlie cutting off his hair when long hair was synonymous with metal. They speak to being first to wear board shorts and t-shirts onstage in a time of jean jackets and leather, and being the first to blend rock and rap in an ill-fated project with the Beastie Boys. Plus, they have stories from the new Anthrax 40 documentary, and give a sneak peak at what you can expect if you tune in to the Anthrax live stream event this Friday, July 16th at AnthraxLive.com.
