That Beast can only be calmed the Beauty and love. When people talk about evolving or being created by aliens, usually reptilians, they are formulating a modern myth around the reptile to explain human origins. Others refer to various demonic forces as reptilian, though Satan is necessary evil (adversary and resistance), Lucifer is the heat of lusting after materiality, and the Devil is the cold of depression. All of these things are symbols of the human and how we see and quantify the world, and although there very well may be intelligent reptile creatures that are humanoid, accusations of reptilian influences on world leaders is very likely a result of how we try to classify their behavior and the deals they make in the dark of public awareness. -FREE ARCHIVE (w. ads)SUBSCRIPTION ARCHIVEX / TWITTER FACEBOOKWEBSITEPAYPALCashApp: $rdgable EMAIL: rdgable@yahoo.com / TSTRadio@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/tst-radio--5328407/support.

She's a regular on Australian radio and hosts a show on Reform Radio in the UK, which was nominated for a Mixcloud Online Radio Award.

Her extensive discography spans nearly 15 years, featuring collaborations with artists such as Deadmau5, Sophie Lowe, Charles Oliver, and Lupa J. However, it's her live performances that truly stand out, with DJ sets pulsing through techno, deep house, electronica, and beyond.

That genre-hopping prowess is on full display in this otherworldly two-hour mix that is perfect for early morning hours after a club session. In Melbourne the names of Jacob Malmo and Tom Evans are well known as solo artists. Together, they have carved a niche for themselves as The Journey, a name synonymous with sturdy progressive. It's a sound that's been forged with their combined 20 years plus of dance music experience - and one that's gaining traction internationally. Alongside multiple European tours, they have graced stages at iconic festivals like Rainbow Serpent, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic, and Strawberry Fields. Labels from Monaberry to Stil Vor Talent to Einmusika have signed their music and they've collaborated with artists including Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, and Florian Kruse. Their name is an apt one too: a Journey set can take exciting turns which never feels forced. On this almost two hour set they deliver on that sentiment with an adventurous sound that is minimal in aesthetic yet maximal in impact. With tracks and remixes from Sébastien Léger, UNKLE, Tim Engelhardt, Guy Gerber and more, this one deserves your full attention. @thejourneymusicaus

Stas Beskin is known for soloing big bold climbs, such as Rainbow Serpent and Fearful Symmetry, two of the most iconic WI6s in the Canadian Rockies. It's one thing to solo big flows, it's another to do it on freestanding pillars about as wide as your shoulders. But he does that too. And he does so without swinging his tools.Stas' conception of ice climbing revolves around displacing as little ice as possible. It's an adaptive strategy that means different things in different situations, but it's always about fitting one's body and style to the ice in front of you – it's about being attuned to the environment and trying to fit it, not the other way around... Resources and links:Stas is a rock and ice climbing guide, specializing in multi-pitches. There is a divine vision for all of us and Mikael Owunna hopes his work can be a vessel for the transformation of our consciousness. Trained in the mechanics of bioengineering and empowered by the imaginative possibilities of photography, his artistic practice conjures queer Black people as embodied reflections of the black and brilliant cosmos. He does this work because he believes we, as queer Black people, are heirs to African cosmological traditions, which place us as the stewards of spiritual experience and as gatekeepers between the realms of the physical and the numinous. Our conversation explores how Mikael utilises technology to help us reencounter ourselves as divine beings, what 50 different expressions of queer Black liveliness taught him about his own capacity for self-actualisation and how art helps us push back against distorted images of ourselves. About Mikael Owunna Mikael Owunna is a Nigerian American multimedia artist, filmmaker and engineer. He is the Director of Mikael Owunna Studios, LLC., a full-service art production company, and the co-founder of Rainbow Serpent, Inc., a Black LGBTQ art nonprofit. His art emerges from the generative intersection of technology, art and African cosmologies, with the aim of reanimating our imaginative possibilities. About Busy Being Black Busy Being Black is an exploration and expression of quare liveliness and my guests are those who have learned to live, love and thrive at the intersection of their identities. Please leave a rating and a review and share these conversations far and wide. As we continue to work towards futures worthy of us all, my hope is that as many of you as possible understand Busy Being Black as a soft, tender and intellectually rigorous place for you to land.  Thank you to our funding partner, myGwork – the business community for LGBT+ professionals, students, inclusive employers and anyone who believes in workplace equality. This week's episode is something extraordinary. Last week featured a conversation with Di and Ian Haggerty, in a shearing shed filled by 170 people from right around the country. You might remember it ended with Di's passing reference to some amazing insight that Noongar woman Heidi Mippy had shared. Heidi is an author, senior staffer with the Noongar Land Enterprise Group, and so much more. She had been personally invited to this event by Di, in anticipation of further growing the relationships they'd been treasuring with First Nations people. But no one could have anticipated what ended up unfolding while this event was taking place. Ian and I were told of what Di already knew at that point, after the conversation between Di, Ian and I ended. Later in the day, after a farm tour, there was to be a panel conversation. It was to bring Di and Ian together with co-founder of natural intelligence farming, Jane Slattery, and long-time collaborator and organiser of this event, the CEO of Nutrisoil Nakala Maddock. Given the amazing story unfolding in the background, and that we'd ended the morning session talking about the richness on offer for landholders in inviting First Nations people in, I suggested acting on that here and now. Heidi was subsequently invited to join that afternoon dialogue, and thankfully accepted the invitation. This is part of what ensued. This conversation was recorded live at the Haggerty farm in the WA wheatbelt on 24 October 2022. Title slide image: an aerial image of Wagyl (SmartSoil Media). Now you're beginning to comprehend the strange genius that dwells inside the battered cranium of Da Cron-Goat, Andy King.  We've had some big names and ballsy characters on this program but Kingy takes the mull cake in this one. The new coach of Brazilian superfreakazoid, Gabriel Medina, delivers the crem de la cron in this absolute stoinker of a waffle. ARE. YOU. KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDING. ME.  Not to be outdone, the Turtle Gang (Nikki ‘The Raging Bull Rainbow Serpent' Van Dijk and Dimity ‘Shimmy Disco' Stoyle) bring the caviar and disco biscuits to close it out.  Pack one, pop one, rip one, sip one, strap in or strap on, Swellians, this one's gonna tear you a newy. Our Australian triptych opens with the vibrantly colorful creation myth of the Rainbow Serpent, dreamt into all its glorious being by the indigenous peoples populating this island nation. Together, we'll enter the Dreamtime and explore the harmony of being connected to all of history and everything that's yet to come in a land of eternal being. Eamon Armstrong is the host of his popular podcast Life is a Festival, promoting adventure and personal development through the lens of festival culture. I first met him as the Prince of Parties when he worked for Fest300, where he got to travel the globe and report from world's best festivals. It was at Rainbow Serpent in Australia where he happened to attend one of my first talks on masculinity and love. We bonded soon after, and kept in touch after returning to our home places. A year later, Eamon and I returned to Australia where we offered a series of talks on the subject of mature masculinity - we were a great combination. I brought my experience and knowledge and he offered his playfulness and vulnerability. Plus, he made me just a little more fabulous. More recently, he has experimented with stand-up comedy, exploring the conversation around men's work with a poignant irreverence. Up next, I've included a short clip before we dive into our conversation. LINKS: Life is a Festival - Podcast
