Elmhurst resident, Anna Maria Sperando, was adopted from Italy in the 1950's by an American family at a young age, as her biological mother tragically died when she was only two years old. After many years of searching for biological relatives in Italy, she found three living aunts, an uncle, and 'molti' nephews, nieces and cousins, with the help of her daughter, Jennifer Veremis. Their recent trip to meet their newly found relatives, is a tear-jerker.
