When Easter weekend 2015 hit, the men broke into the Hatton Garden Safety Deposit building and descended down an elevator shaft. Their prize lay at the bottom. The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California, used to belong to Sarah Winchester. She led construction work on the property for 38 unrelenting years. Why? She wanted to create a house so crazy, so difficult to navigate, that it would confuse any apparitions that intended to do her harm. She'd inherited the Winchester rifle fortune and after the death's of her young daughter and husband - she believed the victims of her family's rifles would harm her if they could get to her. There's so much about the Columbine shooting that makes it unique. The vivid plans outlined in the journals of both attackers. The initial hopes of killing hundreds with the bombs built by the pair. It really is fortunate that more people were not killed during the Columbine shooting.

Anneliese Michel grew up in a strictly religious German household in 1952. Her early life was relatively normal until she reached the age of 16. During the summer of 2000, sixteen year old Molly Bish was dropped off for work at her local lifeguarding post. It was her 8th day on the job. The army and police say all 4 deaths were suicides, but 2 of the victims had been shot more than once. The first soldier to die, Private Benton, had 5 bullet wounds in his chest. In the summer of 1947 - New Mexico was rife with UFO sightings. When Mac Brazel found a massive pile of shiny silver debris on his ranch, he couldn't explain it. When he involved the local Sheriff - things began to unravel. The local military published a press release claiming evidence of a flying silver disc had been recovered - but they quickly changed their mind and said it was, in fact, a weather balloon. Daniel Morcombe simply wanted to visit a shopping centre to buy Christmas presents. Sadly, the people who caught a glimpse of Daniel at the bus stop were the last people to see the 13 year old alive. Queensland undertook it's largest ever investigation into a missing person that spanned across several years. The outcome was tragic. What happened to Daniel?

Between 2010 and 2017, 8 men vanished from the gay village in Toronto, Canada. Many of those men were struggling to come to terms with their own sexual identity. Their killer, Bruce McArthur, used that to his advantage. To those around him, Bruce appeared a jovial man that enjoyed his job as a landscaper. However, inside was a monster. Despite several close calls, including being arrested for assault and questioned in relation to a killing, Bruce was able to carry out his murderous spree for years. This episode puts a lot more emphasis on the stories of the victims who were tragically killed by Bruce to fulfil his sick, sexual fantasies. As always, this episode comes with a trigger warning.

On the 1st September 2015, Lieutenant Joseph 'G.I. Joe' Gliniewicz calls for back up after pursuing three males into the wooded area of Fox Lake. Moments later, Joe is found lying face down after a fatal shooting. Suspicions began to rise surrounding the death of the cop fallen in the line of duty. There were no visible signs of a physical altercation or defensive wounds as well as more unsettling evidence. Find out who Joe was and what happened in this week's episode.

It is firmly believed Durst killed his first wife Kathleen McCormack Durst. When Kathleen went missing, it took Durst 5 days to report her missing, and his explanation was full of contradictions. Still, Durst remained free. Later, a former friend of Durst, Susan Berman, was killed. Not only was Durst linked to her killing, but his wife's disappearance could be one of the factors. Durst eventually took on a new identity - that of a mute woman! Still, he found himself implicated in the murder and dismemberment of an associate. If this case could get any crazier, Durst took part in a documentary that uncovered evidence that led to his eventual prosecution. This week's episode is a must listen!

However, Jared spent his time living a second life of crime and deceptive behaviour. With the help of his business associate Russell Taylor, Fogle viewed child pornography and played an active role in helping acquire it. Furthermore, both men were open about how they'd like to engage in illegal acts with minors. This episode covers the crazy rise and fall of Jared Fogle.

A search commenced, but John was not found. As days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months, it seemed like all hope was gone. John's friends and family were forced to move on with their lives, unsure what had happened to John on that fateful day. Over 5 years later, John walked into a London police station and told police he might be a missing person. The only problem: he had no idea what had happened or where he'd been. Could there be more to this case than meets the eye? This is certainly a wild ride!

Imagine having your day interrupted by some children who have a strange request. You try to politely decline and move on with your day, but something inexplicable holds you back. Your logic tells you to leave the situation and you begin to feel unsafe. Yet, something inside of you starts to oblige with the strange request from the children. You're opening the door to your car, your house, or going out of your way to accommodate them. Then, you catch a glimpse of their eyes. Except, their not eyes at all, they are something else. They're just absent, black orbs where the eyes should be. Blackness with no white, no iris, no retina, just blackness. Steven Pladl, what an evil man. This might be one of the most shocking cases that Gore and Guilty have ever covered. Katie Pladl, her adopted father and her child were massacred by Steven in a single day after he was rejected. This case is especially twisted as Katie Pladl was both Steven's daghter and his 'wife'. There are an abundance of trigger warnings on this case, including the death of a minor, so if that's a bit too much for you - feel free to skip this week's episode.

In November 2018, Tamla Horsford attended a party. Sadly, Tamla never returned home after that night. Despite the party being a seemingly innocent sleep-over, Tamla was tragically found face down outside the house. Despite suffering blunt-force injuries, there wasn't much blood near the body. On this week's episode, we talk about some of the attendees and their stories about the night. Is something not adding up?

London, in an area where drug related deaths were not common. Over 15 months, four separate men turned up dead in a 500-yard radius due to drug overdoses. What did they all have in common? They all came into contact with Stephen Port. With no signs of remorse, Port may be one of the most twisted serial killers we've covered! There's confusion over why Port wasn't caught sooner.

Everything seemed ordinary on Halloween 1974 when Timothy O'Bryan went trick or treating with his family. However, by the end of the night, Timothy had been murdered. The discovery of cyanide in his candy, as well as the cyanide in other children's candy led to people panicking that someone was giving poisoned candy to children on Halloween. Was there really a kid killer giving poisoned candy to children in Texas 1974? Or, had something even more sinister happened.

It's estimated that 500 to 1000 people were killed during witch trials - as you'll hear - they didn't have a great chance of survival. However, everyone's fears worsened, as it is discovered that 1,400 registered sex offenders live in a 20 mile radius around Shannon's home. We don't want to spoil the twists and turns in this episode, but we will say this case has one of the most sinister twists you'll hear in a true crime kidnapping. Which person in Shannon's life isn't being truthful about their involvement?

Why does Jodi Arias feel far more sinister than your regular murderer? Jodi's trial captured the attention of people across the World as they tried to wrap their heads around the details of this case. Travis Alexander, a devout Mormon, had the misfortune of meeting Arias in 2006. From that point on, she embedded herself into his life, torturing his emotions for years. On this episode of G&G, we talk through this case and the strange relationship Jodi and Travis had, before she savagely murdered Travis in his own home.

Elliot Rodger spent most of his life filled with rage. A textbook narcissist: Rodger could not comprehend why he didn't have any luck finding a girlfriend.
