20th century American mass murderers

Delving into the disturbing minds of the Columbine killers reveals a calculated progression toward violence rather than a sudden snap. Eric Harris, a textbook psychopath, meticulously planned the attack for over a year while manipulating everyone around him with an Oscar-worthy performance of contrition and rehabilitation. The yearbooks exchanged between Eric and Dylan became repositories of their murderous fantasies – complete with drawings of massacres and X's marked over classmates' photos. This exchange represented a dangerous pact of "mutually assured destruction," as either could have exposed the other. Yet the disturbing reality is that Eric's true intentions were hiding in plain sight, even as he charmed his way through a juvenile diversion program following an arrest for breaking into a van. While Eric's journal entries revealed his genuine desire for mass destruction, Dylan Klebold appears to have been primarily suicidal rather than homicidal. His private writings focused on finding true love as an escape from his misery, suggesting he viewed their planning sessions as fantasy rather than reality until much closer to the event. The aftermath rippled through the community in profound ways. When Columbine reopened, students and parents formed a "human shield" to physically block the media from accessing the school. The six-month anniversary brought new threats, heightened anxiety, and culminated in the suicide of a wounded student's mother. For survivors like Patrick Ireland, who was shot in the head, recovery meant not just learning to walk again but confronting the reality that dreams – like his plan to become an architect – might now be impossible due to his injuries. This detailed examination of the Columbine tragedy challenges simplified narratives about bullying or snap decisions, revealing instead how psychopathy can manifest as a long-term, calculated path toward violence that remains undetected despite multiple warning signs. What makes Eric Harris truly frightening isn't just what he did – but how effectively he convinced everyone around him that he was reformed, remorseful, and ready to rejoin society.Send us a text Support the show

Una banda sonora pintona (The Only Ones, Joe Brown, Tyler The Creator, Judy Henske y Childish Gambino) redondea el episodio.
This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Oklahoma to discuss the Bevers, a deeply religious family living in the suburbs that were annihilated by their wannabee serial killer sons. The boys, Michael and Robert, fantasized about, in their words, achieving kills counts like their "heroes" Jim Jones, Dylan Klebold & Eric Harris, and James Holmes.
From Scott LaMar, co-host of The Spark. After 32 years at WITF I'm retiring at the end of this week. On The Spark Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, we're airing several of my most memorable conversation. Tuesday, we go back to September of 2019 when Sue Klebold appeared on the program. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold walked into Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. Over the course of minutes, they would kill twelve students and a teacher and wound twenty-four others before taking their own lives. Since then, Sue Klebold, Dylan's mother, has lived with the indescribable grief and shame of that day. How could her child, the promising young man she had loved and raised, be responsible for such horror? And how, as his mother, had she not known something was wrong? Were there subtle signs she had missed? What, if anything, could she have done differently? Sue Klebold wrote a book -- A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy, in which she talks about Dylan's seemingly normal childhood, the day of the Columbine shooting and the years afterwards when she grieved and struggled to understand her son and what's she's learned about mental health or brain health as she refers to it. Mother and author Sue Kebold appears on this special edition of The Spark. Support WITF: https://www.witf.org/support/give-now/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Columbine High School shooting, which occurred on April 20th, 1999, shocked the nation and left an indelible mark on American society. The tragic event, where two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, carried out a meticulously planned attack, resulted in the loss of 13 innocent lives and left numerous others injured physically and emotionally. One disturbing aspect of the Columbine shooting was the choice of the date by the perpetrators. April 20th holds significance for various reasons, notably as the birthday of Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany. The selection of this date by Harris and Klebold underscores the depth of their twisted ideology and their desire to leave a lasting impact through their heinous actions. However, amidst the sorrow and horror of the Columbine tragedy, there emerged a profound opportunity for reflection and learning. In the aftermath of the shooting, communities across the country grappled with issues of school safety, bullying, mental health awareness, and gun control. Columbine served as a wake-up call, prompting a national conversation on how to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future. Over the years, numerous measures have been implemented to enhance school security and support students' mental well-being. Schools have adopted stricter protocols for identifying and addressing potential threats, while also focusing on fostering inclusive and supportive environments to prevent isolation and alienation among students. Additionally, the Columbine shooting spurred efforts to reform gun laws and increase awareness about the importance of responsible gun ownership. While progress has been made in some areas, there remains much work to be done to address the complex intersection of mental health, societal influences, and access to firearms. As we reflect on the anniversary of the Columbine shooting, we honor the memory of the victims and renew our commitment to building safer communities. The legacy of Columbine serves as a reminder of the profound impact of senseless violence and the ongoing need for vigilance, empathy, and collective action to prevent future tragedies. There are no two ways around this fact: today's conversation is tough. It's really, really tough. Today, April 20, 2024, marks 25 years since the Columbine High School massacre in Littleton, Colorado. I woke up this morning and read an article in People magazine about Frank DeAngelis, who was the principal at Columbine at the time of the shooting. In the article, DeAngelis said that every single morning, he wakes up and says the names of those killed in that day's horrible events. He said he almost died twice that day, and, in his words, “For whatever reason God spared me that day. So I need to try to help others.” I will take a page from Principal DeAngelis and begin this episode by saying the names of the 12 students and one teacher killed that day: Cassie Bernall, Steven Curnow, Corey DePooter, Kelly Fleming, Matt Kechter, Daniel Mauser, Danny Rohrbough, Dave Sanders, Rachel Scott, Isaiah Shoels, John Tomlin, Lauren Townsend, and Kyle Velasquez. Thirteen people who woke up on this morning 25 years ago and headed into school for what they probably imagined would be a typical Tuesday—and they never came home. Today on the show I have Dave Cullen, who wrote the definitive book on the Columbine massacre, simply titled Columbine, in 2009, 10 years after the attack happened. It took Dave a full decade to write this masterpiece, and he followed it up with a book about the Parkland school shooting, simply titled Parkland, in 2019. Dave's Columbine book has a new edition and we talk about that in today's episode. You can feel Dave's passion for a topic he spent a full decade writing about oozing throughout this conversation. I was 12 years old and in the sixth grade on April 20, 1999, when perpetrators Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot and killed 12 fellow classmates and a teacher at the school. The massacre was also an attempted bombing that failed, and 10 of the 12 students killed were in the school library, the epicenter of the attack, where Harris and Klebold also killed themselves at the massacre's end. When it happened, Columbine was the deadliest mass school shooting at a K-12 school in U.S. history; Harris and Klebold had been planning their attack for at least a year and planned for it to be primarily a bombing attack, and secondarily a shooting attack. When the bombs they'd built failed to detonate, they began shooting. Their motive remains inconclusive, but Dave and I get into the “why” of it all in our conversation today. Its aftermath has unfortunately spawned dozens of copycat killings, called “the Columbine effect,” and the word “Columbine” itself has become a word symbolizing school shootings. The attack took place from 11:19 a.m. to 12:08 p.m., culminating in the suicides of Harris and Klebold. In 2007, the Columbine Memorial opened to the public, and two years later, in 2009, Dave's book came out. Dave is considered the nation's foremost authority on Columbine, and his book covers two major storylines: the killers' evolution leading up to the attack, and the survivors' struggles with its aftermath after it happened. Chapters alternate between those two stories, and the book spent eight weeks on The New York Times bestseller list and won numerous awards, drawing comparisons to Truman Capote's classic In Cold Blood and Ann Rule's The Stranger Beside Me. This conversation is a difficult one, but necessary. Columbine by Dave Cullen The audiobook is also available “Confronting: Columbine” podcast
On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold gunned down twelve students and one teacher—at that time, this was the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. Since then, there have been over 400 school shootings across the country, with 1 in 4 public school teachers saying they have been in a gun-related lockdown in the past year. Last week, the parents of Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley were sentenced to at least a decade in prison for missing opportunities to prevent the 2021 massacre. Columbine survivor and advocate Craig Scott joins the Rundown to reflect on 25 years since the infamous shooting, bring attention to his sister Rachel Scott's story, and share how to prevent future incidents. The House Select Committee on China held a hearing this past Tuesday, sharing their findings that China is creating financial incentives for companies to create precursor chemicals in the manufacturing of fentanyl. Former Attorney General Bill Barr was among those testifying, and he stated that he was not surprised by the committee's findings. Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA-6) and Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-2) join the podcast to discuss the need for bipartisan action on the fentanyl crisis, how Congress can take action against China, and explain how Mexico impacts the flow of the drug. In the wake of numerous tragic school shootings across the United States, a pressing question emerges: Should parents be held criminally responsible for the actions of their children? This debate has been reignited by the ongoing trial of Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of the teenager who carried out a deadly shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan in November 2021. Facing involuntary manslaughter charges, the case against Crumbley could set a significant legal precedent, underscoring the responsibility parents might bear for their children's actions. Tony Brueski, host of the podcast "Hidden Killers," alongside attorney and former felony prosecutor Eric Faddis, delved into the complexities of this landmark case. "This trial is very interesting, one we have not seen before with this sort of a dynamic," Brueski remarked. The crux of their conversation revolved around the potential implications of the Crumbley trial for future cases and the broader societal obligation of parents to monitor their children's activities and mental health closely. The prosecution's challenge in the Crumbley case lies in proving causation and the parents' knowledge or willful ignorance of their son's violent tendencies. "The prosecutor is going to have to prove that the Crumbleys' actions had a causal relationship with this school shooting," Faddis explained. This entails demonstrating that the parents knew or should have known of their child's proclivity for violence and yet facilitated his access to a firearm. However, the discussion raised concerns about where to draw the line in holding parents accountable. "Parenting is hard as shit," Faddis candidly observed, highlighting the inherent challenges in navigating a child's mental health issues and the potential for unjust criminal prosecution of parents who may be struggling themselves. The dialogue underscored the nuanced distinction between negligence and criminal liability, questioning whether the prosecution of parents like the Crumbleys could indeed deter future tragedies. Brueski and Faddis also touched upon the broader issue of mental health care accessibility and the societal tendency to seek simple solutions for complex problems. "We need to get a grip on the importance of mental health in our country, not just a grip on, let's try and punish everyone we possibly can," Brueski argued, suggesting that punitive measures against parents might not address the root causes of such devastating events. The conversation ventured into the potential for retroactive prosecution, should the Crumbley case set a new legal standard. "If Jennifer Crumbley, the mother, is convicted, do they then go back to... Dylan Klebold's mother from Columbine?" Faddis pondered, illustrating the slippery slope of applying this precedent broadly and the ethical implications of revisiting past tragedies through a new legal lens. Ultimately, Brueski and Faddis highlighted the delicate balance between ensuring accountability and recognizing the multifaceted challenges parents face, especially those with limited resources or knowledge. The discussion concluded on a note of caution, emphasizing the need for a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to preventing school shootings that goes beyond simply holding parents criminally responsible. As the Crumbley trial unfolds, it prompts us to reflect on the broader societal responsibilities we share in preventing such tragedies. The questions raised in the "Hidden Killers" podcast leave us pondering: Can, and should, the law compel parents to be the frontline defense against school shootings, or does the solution lie in addressing the deeper issues of mental health care, firearm access, and societal support for struggling families? Joining us on this episode is Sue Klebold, mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the two Columbine High School killers. Since the massacre in April,1999, Sue has lived with indescribable grief and shame of that day…and tried to understand how her son's life could have escalated into such a disaster on her watch. Sue has written about her quest to comprehend what happened in her book, "A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy".
Bob Enyart urges prayer for the public schools to not reopen on time for the next school year (or ever for that matter). And as programming notes, Bob mentions that producer Tim Mahoney may be on the show this week heading toward Friday's online premier, Patterns: Red Sea Miracle II and also that last week's guest, Bevelyn Beatty was arrested along with her partner in crime Edmee Chavannes and our longtime BEL friend Ken Scott, for not wearing masks to a Cape Coral city council meeting where it was decided, thankfully but ironically, to not order mask wearing! Then Bob concludes his "train-up your mind" clear thinking segments using the atheist "Euthyphro's Dilemma" argument. Google ranks Bob's Christian reply #1 at kgov.com/euthyphro. Euthyphro Part 1 introduced Socrates' argument. Part 2 evaluated the Divine Command View. Part 3 introduced the Recognition View. In Part 4 the Recognition View Met the Trinity. Part 5 turned Euthyphro's Dilemma against Bertrand Russell and the atheists. And Part 6 concludes the matter answering succinctly, Is something good because God commands it to be good? No. Is something good because God recognizes it as good? Yes. And is that standard external to Himself? No. But then, how could that work, and not be logically inconsistent? Tune in, especially to Parts 3 and 4, and today's conclusion, as we demonstrate how the Triune God fully answers what turns out to be not ours, but the atheist's dilemma! The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 9th and final study session on Sue Klebold's A Mothers' Reckoning. Published nearly 20 years after the notorious 1999 Columbine High School massacre, where 13 people were killed, Mrs. Klebold is the White mother of Dylan Klebold - one of the cowardly White killers. After spending years in silence, Klebold stepped center stage to share her anguish over losing her child and her perspective on her child's attempt to slaughter hundreds of his classmates while disintegrating the high school. Colorado Public Radio reports the book has generated over $400,000 for numerous mental health groups. They have no evidence of direct payments to Mrs. Klebold. Last week, Sue told us about how much support and comfort she received from the White survivors of suicide loss. Deceptive Sue says she feared someone would spit in her face seeing her seated at a conference on suicide. This never happened. In fact, the White love and sympathy was so strong, Sue left her old, decrepit husband Tom fall by the wayside. She recounted a story of the family trip to visit the University of Arizona. "Dyl" flipped out when they stopped at a restaurant. Sue said he demanded they leave immediately because a group of kids were prepping to bully him. There was no evidence they were aware of Dylan's existence. Sue also shared the most important line of the book, where she outlines the difference between her hyper-White Denver suburb. "This wasn't the drug-riddled inner city, or some supposedly godless corridor like New York or Los Angeles. People who lived in Littleton were upstanding citizens with nice suburban houses and happy, healthy, well-fed children. We expected our schools to be safe." #AnneFrank #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Last week, finally got to Dylan's 1999 essay on a six foot tall White man in a trench coat who slaughters a group of people. Klebold claims she never saw the paper and the informal conference with English teacher Judith Kelly was warm and offered no hint of grave concern. Kelly wrote an open letter in 2019 saying Klebold has lied about their meeting for years. She accuses Klebold of making false claims that they discussed the treachery of Eric Harris and Dylan's inappropriate chuckles in class. In fact, Klebold says that Dylan's calculus teacher stressed that Dylan is a respectful pupil who snoozes in class from time to time and struggles with motivation. These chats were about 30 days before the massacre. In fact, Sue says in the months leading up the attempted bombing, Dylan became hostile and combative. She describe pushing him against the fridge after he forgets about her "mother's day gift." He tells her abruptly that he cannot control his temper and things could get medieval if she didn't back off. #PersonalResponsibility #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#

Last week, Sue began detailing Dylan's turbulent junior year at Columbine. He and Eric were arrested, and Sue suggests they took the episode seriously. They allegedly reduced the boys contact with each other for a period after chatting with the Harrises. Sue even makes time to address the diversion form where it states that her older son Byron was booted from the house for narcotics. In the memoir she says this was a mutually agreed upon decision without rancor. She continues to heap all the blame on Eric - following the trend of labeling him a psychopath, while insisting Dylan was a sad victim of peer pressure and bullying. Sue mentions the Regina Huerter report on the culture of Columbine High School, but skillfully omits the line about students thinking Dylan and Eric were "mean and rude." #Sparky #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 6th study session on Sue Klebold's A Mothers' Reckoning. Published nearly 20 years after the notorious 1999 Columbine High School massacre, where 13 people were killed, Mrs. Klebold is the White mother of Dylan Klebold - one of the cowardly White killers. After spending years in silence, Klebold stepped center stage to share her anguish over losing her child and her perspective on her cowardly offspring's attempt to slaughter hundreds of his classmates while disintegrating the high school. Colorado Public Radio reports the book has generated over $400,000 for numerous mental health groups. They have no evidence of payments to Mrs. Klebold. Last week, Klebold provides a brief glimpse of the horror of "the basement tapes," where her son and the other killer make it plain that this was a meticulously planned bombing. In a deft move of deception, "Mother Superior" pivoted from the hours of footage explaining the motivations and goals for the slaughter. She spends more time talking about why many White "experts" agree that showing the footage would inspire "copy cats" and admiration for the gunmen. Which happened anyway. Mama Klebold also confessed to being angry with the creator about her son's attempt to slaughter hundreds of his classmates. Klebold includes that she received quite a bit of fan mail from "Columbiners" who sanctified Dylan and whined about being bullied themselves. Listeners and Gus found this odd since Klebold told us her mail was being vetted for unseemly commentary. Fanboy/Fangirl love letters aren't verboten? Ms. Klebold also told a number of enormous lies. She said she didn't know anything about Dylan's underage drinking and she says Eric made no comment about how the massacre would impact his parents. Dylan, affectionately known as "VoDKa," confesses to alcohol consumption during the diversion program for his felony arrest. Eric laments how his actions will destroy his parents on the restricted "basement tapes." Dave Cullen talks about this part of the footage in the book we just read. #Wholesome #Charades #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#
The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Stephen Singular, Suspected White Supremacist. An author of "25 non-fiction books, many of them about high-profile criminal cases, Singular has also written sports and business biographies and social commentary. He co-authored with his wife, Joyce, their two most recent true crime titles." We spoke to Mr. Singular back in 2021 during our study of the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Singular wrote about that case and the connection to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing. Now, that we're studying the 1999 Columbine High School massacre, we'll investigate two of Singular's crime-writing ventures. Presumed Guilty: An Investigation of the JonBenét Ramsey Case, the Media, & the Culture of Pornography is his examination of the six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey murder, which happened at the end of 1996 right down the road from Littleton, Colorado. And we'll discuss his book, The Spiral Notebook: The Aurora Theater Shooter and the Epidemic of Mass Violence Committed by American Youth, a tacky exploration of the 2012 Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting by White Terrorist James Holmes. Singular includes quite a bit about Columbine within this text. Therefore, Gus was taken aback when Singular claimed that he's "no expert" when it comes to high school bombing/shooting. Singular promotes the tired lie that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were victimized White boys. In fact, Singular mentioned Dave Cullen's book, which we just completed. Cullen also dismisses the idea that these two cowardly killers were bullied. Singular also includes a sloppy paragraph about Miriam I. Carey "ramming" a barrier in Washington, D.C. before she was killed by enforcement officials. The Washington Post and even Gus's BFF Amy Goodman highlighted that Carey, a black mother, did not "ram" a barrier. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 5th study session on Sue Klebold's A Mothers' Reckoning. Published nearly 20 years after the notorious 1999 Columbine High School massacre, where 13 people were killed, Mrs. Klebold is the White mother of Dylan Klebold - one of the cowardly White killers. After spending years in silence, Klebold stepped center stage to share her anguish over losing her child and her perspective on her Dylan's attempt to slaughter hundreds of his classmates while disintegrating the high school. Colorado Public Radio reports the book has generated over $400,000 for numerous mental health groups. They have no evidence of payments to Mrs. Klebold. Last week Sue continued her "pity party" and White Victimhood by invoking metaphors suggesting she was a slave. In one example, she says being renown as the mother of the Columbine killer was "like a cattle brand." Ms. Klebold confesses that she relied on "black [negro] humor" to survive the early days of grief. She repeatedly insists that she was threatened, hated, and the target of bullying and alienation after the failed bombing, but there is no evidence to support this. To the contrary, she herself and numerous other sources detail relatively widespread support and sympathy for the Klebolds. "Dyl's" mom loses some of the facade when she details the police report near the end of 1999, where Jefferson County Sheriff's Office gives a macabre account of Rebel and VoDKa's long, methodical plan to eviscerate the school. Ol' Sue had been lying to (and us) about her offspring's role as a mass-school shooter and wannabee bomber. Suspected Racist Sue Klebold's view of sweet, innocent, blond Dylan was shattered even before viewing the "basement tapes." #MasterDeceiver #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#

Denver Public Radio reports the book has generated over $400,000 for numerous mental health groups. They have no evidence of payments to Mrs. Klebold. Last week Klebold emphasized the slum existence Dylan endured in Littleton. They purchased a rat infested house with a leaky pool, cracked tennis courts, broken windows and raccoons aplenty. Sue emphasizes the ramshackle, hand-me-down nature of their existence: Dylan's rusty, $400 BMW that barely ran, and the equally rusty, castoff bicycles a neighbor gave them en route to the landfill. Gus assumes the rental properties she and Tom owned before Dylan's failed bombing were probably vermin-infested and downtrodden too. Interestingly, Sue discloses that Tom was not interested in penning an apology to the families of those killed by their child. Tom allegedly refused to accept any culpability for this massacre. Sue did pursue writing the letters. However, she viewed Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold as "victims" in this event as well. The chat bots will gladly tell you this is illogical rubbish: perpetrators can't be victims of their own homicidal mayhem. Sue and Tom are not "victims" in this tragedy either. #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 3rd study session on Sue Klebold's A Mothers' Reckoning. Denver Public Radio reports the book has generated over $400,000 for numerous mental health groups. They had no evidence of payments to Mrs. Klebold. Last week, Klebold dropped a Mike Tyson knockout blow on readers alleging that she was the Victim of the town's "wrath" following the school massacre. Lame ol' Sue thought we forgot that on the day of the Columbine attack, her homicidal White urchin wore a t-shirt emblazoned with the word: "WRATH." Sue even told on herself accidentally, saying that the one school picture of her child media outlets projected to the world portrayed Dylan as some loser dude you'd avoid if possible. She gave us even more details about the whole city - if not the state - looking out for the well being, and protecting them from the paparazzi. She even made time to tell inform us that she was raised Jewish, which disqualifies Dylan (and the Klebold klan en total) from being Racist. #MotherSuperior #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 2nd study session on Sue Klebold's A Mothers' Reckoning. After spending years in silence, Klebold stepped center stage to share her anguish over losing her child and her perspective on her child's attempt to slaughter hundreds of his classmates while disintegrating the high school. Denver Public Radio reports the book has generated over $400,000 for numerous mental health groups. They had no evidence of payments to Mrs. Klebold. Last week, we heard a chunky introduction from Andrew Solomon, a gay White man, who insists that the Klebolds and other parents of White shooters are not to blame for their homicidal offspring. She also tells us what a swell person and parent Sue is, and he joins Dave Cullen, another gay White Man, in affixing most of the blame to the "psychopath" Eric Harris. Sue recalls her intense denial about her child's involvement in the school bombing and shooting. She then details how her White homies constructed a modern underground railroad to sneak the Klebold family out of town away from the media frenzy. They tucked roast beef sandwiches in her hand and assured her she was still "one of us" - meaning the White race. #MotherSuperior #BomberMan #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts debut study session on Sue Klebold's A Mothers' Reckoning. After spending years in silence, Klebold stepped center stage to share her anguish over losing her child and her perspective on her child's attempt to slaughter hundreds of his classmates while disintegrating the high school. Allegedly, a percentage of the proceeds are donated to mental health causes. Given The C.O.W.S.'s recent and extensive research on this subject matter, we should be in prime position to interrogate what this Racist Suspect mother has to say. Gus finds it noteworthy that Andrew Solomon, a "gay" White male, Suspected Racist, authors the introduction to the book. Cullen is also a "gay" White male, and the both write to absolve Dylan of responsibility for killing children and practicing White Supremacy. #MotherSuperior #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 10th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people and injured 24 more at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. This week, we inch towards the conclusion of Cullen's work. We learned about the police failures and outright lies that enabled this cowardly White tandem. Cullen minimizes the corruption of the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office and omits much of the evidence of these White boys's Racism - such as reports of their Racist Jokes and they're routine public commentary about killing black people and "Jews." He also omits their fascination with Racist serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson. Last week, Cullen told us sweet Dylan didn't really want to kill anyone. Cullen would have us believe "VoDKa" dry snitched to his teacher by writing one of the most violent reports possible - something both these two did frequently. He also submits Dylan was not a part of the bomb-making and weapons assembly. This is contradicted by footage of Klebold and Harris practicing at the gun range. Neither looked reluctant to shoot. It's also more difficult to think Dylan was disinterested in bloodshed since he's accused of calling Isaiah Shoels Racist Names and dragging him out to be killed. Again, Cullen leave this part out. #MakeMyDay #BomberMan #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 9th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people and injured 24 more at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. This week, we continue our exploration of Cullen's narrative of the events leading up to the massacre, the motivations of the White killers, and the aftermath of the slaughter. The teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. In addition to factual errors, like Eric Harris's supposed tryst with twenty-something Brenda Parker, Cullen omits much of the evidence of these White boys's Racism - such as reports of their Racist Jokes and routine public commentary about killing black people and "Jews." He also omits their fascination with Racist serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson. Last week, Cullen told us Dylan was depressed and slacking hard during his final year of high school leading up to the massacre. It's as though we are supposed to forget Vodka is the one accepted to college. Eric had no post graduation plans. Cullen compares the two White teens to other terrorist actors of the decade like Timothy McVeigh and the Palestinian Liberation Army. This ignores other White bombers like Ted Kaczynski and Eric Rudolph who were actively killing people during the same period. The Columbine duo used similar terrorist techniques to Rudolph - secondary explosives to potentially kill first responding police and medical personnel. Klebold and Harris should be grouped with and understood within the context of a decade dominated White Terrorists who bombed and killed for thrills and personal grievances. #MakeMyDay #BomberMan #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 8th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. This week, we continue our exploration of Cullen's narrative of the events leading up to the massacre, the motivations of the White killers, and the aftermath of the slaughter. The teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. Last week, we got enough detail for Gus to conclude it was criminally negligent that Harris and Klebold's parents, school officials and local enforcement officers failed to intercept this plot. TWO separate White people found one of Eric Harris's explosive devices in advance of the attack. Each of these two highly intelligent young lads had been suspended from school, a felony arrest record, and both admitted to underage substance use. If these were two black boys, they would have been "pipelined" to prison before they could spell bomb - their parents too. Cullen also detailed the extraordinary hypocrisy with Cassie Bernall's parents choosing to publish a book of lies about their daughter's murder. Evidence and witnesses revealed that Valeen Schnurr was the victim who acknowledged her belief in God, not Cassie. In addition to publishing a bestseller with a debunked title (She Said Yes), Misty Bernall took sabbatical from her job at Lockheed Martin to pen a dishonest book. Lockheed Martin is the local Denver bomb-making factory for the US government (so-called). Timothy McVeigh, Eric Rudolph, Ted Kaczynski, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold represent the White, private citizen "bomber man." #MakeMyDay #BomberMan #WhatDoesItMeanToBeWhite #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Peter Langman. A sought-after expert on the psychology of school shooters and other perpetrators of mass violence, Dr. Langman “conducts trainings on understanding the psychology of school shooters and identifying potential school shooters for professionals in mental health, education, and law enforcement. He has spoken on preventing school shootings at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA, and been hired by Homeland Security to train professionals in school safety. He is also a researcher with the National Threat Assessment Center of the United States Secret Service.” He's written a plethora of reports on the last quarter century of school-based mass shootings. Since the Katherine Massey Book Club continues to examine Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE, we thought it would be great to speak with another expert on these events. Dr. Langman authored Why Kids Kill: Inside the Minds of School Shooters, which examines both Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold and other school shooters. He also penned: School Shooters: Understanding High School, College and Adult Perpetrators. We'll discuss the influence of the White bombers like Eric Rudolph and the late Ted ‘Unabomber' Kaczynski, as well as Eric and Dylan's hankering for Racist Jokes. #RacistChild #GreatEqualizer #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

This week, we continue our exploration of Cullen's narrative of the events leading up to the massacre, the motivations of the White killers, and the aftermath of the slaughter. The teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. Last week, we learned more about the tandems' arrest for stealing from vehicle in advance of the massacre. The boys were suspended from school hacking to school computers to break into students lockers. Wayne Harris found one of his son's pipe bombs, and was allegedly stymied about how to dispose of the device. Dylan Klebold's journal has strong homoerotic tones when taking about intense bond to Zack. In fact, Dylan dreams about killing Zack's White girlfriend for breaking up their "threesome." Harris and Klebold's parents remained dedicated to their code and said next to nothing to police. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people and injured 24 more at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. This week, we continue our exploration of Cullen's narrative of the events leading up to the massacre, the motivations of the White killers, and the aftermath of the tragedy. The teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. Last week, we learned more details about the unjust networking of the Jefferson County sheriff's department. High ranking White officials conferenced to discuss how they would deceive the public (and the shooting victims) about records of a neglected search warrant against Eric Harris for the alleged construction of pipe bombs and threatening to kill Brooks Brown. The search was never executed. Brooks' mother, Judy, told the New York Times she'd reported Eric to the police 15 times. Cullen also details how Eric's father, Wayne, felt he and his wife were victims of Judy Brown's grousing about their mischievous child. Tellingly, Mr. Harris wrote down that Eric had learned his lesson about haranguing the Browns. However, he crossed this out, and replaced it with: "Eric not at fault." #Cronyism #Nepotism #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 4th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. The April 20th, 1999 Colorado High School shooting resulted in 15 casualties - including the two White shooters. Eric "Rebel" Harris and Dylan "VODKA" Klebold used firearms and bombs to slaughter their classmates before taking their own lives. This massacre inspired school shootings around the world, changed law enforcement's rules of engagement, and remains one of the most significant events of the last 30 years. Harris and Klebold were allegedly fascinated with Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. They carried out the attack on Hitler's birthday and a mere 4 years after Timothy McVeigh's bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building - which was on April 19th, 1995. The White teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. Importantly, this week's session is the same week as the first year since the Uvalde, Texas school shooting where a gunman killed 19 students and 2 teachers. Once again, a delayed police response is substantial point of conflict. Speaking of which, we learned more details about the police and SWAT teams slow (cowardly?) process of entering Columbine High School to free the students. Sheriff Stone, and many members of the White press originally got key details of the murders wrong - including the number of deaths. Isaiah Shoels' parents were comforted by a group of White "evangelicals" once it was revealed the teen was deceased. At this point, readers are only aware that Shoels is one of the few black students in the school. We have no information about how he was killed. We also get more details about how Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris's White parents and classmates cooperated with or withheld information from enforcement officials. And we heard how law enforcement already knew about this criminal tandem. They had police records and had already threatened to kill. #NaturalBornKillers #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Professor Jack A. Draper III An associate professor of Portuguese at the University of Missouri, Professor Draper was born in the Philippines but grew up in sunny California. He developed an interest in Brazilian poetry and popular music before teaching about the country's history. We'll discuss his English translation of Mário Filho's The Black Man in Brazilian Soccer, originally published in 1947. We just read this text in the Katherine Massey Book Club. Gus thought based on it's contents, this book's correct title is: Moleque's with Kinky Hair in Brazilian Soccer. Professor Draper detailed the racist meaning of this term and his logic for translating this to "street urchin." We also discuss the homoerotic elements of the book - which include many passages of the White author describing muscular, sweaty black thighs and "kinky" negro hair. Professor Draper also deconstructed the term "crespo" - which is translated to "kinky" in the book. Gus thinks this term may also be similar to the way "nappy" is used in the states. We even made time to discuss the smash hit of carnival, "O Teu Cabelo Não Nega" (You Hair Does Not Deny It), and the recent spike in mass school killings in Brazil. Some of these attacks are linked to Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold's 1999 Columbine slaughter. #NoSinSouthOfTheEquator #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
