D'ailleurs pourquoi deviendrait-on guitariste ?
In his book "Postmodern Pilgrims," Dr. Leonard Sweet offers a vision for the 21st century church that engages both the church's traditions and its need for innovation. He calls for a faith that is both ancient and future, historical and contemporary. While he reminds us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), he wonders how the church, the body of Christ, can give a compelling and imaginative witness to Jesus today. In this sermon series, we will explore what Sweet calls the "EPIC" church: Experiential, Participatory, Imagistic, and Communal. Pappa Rodger and Kohberger: How Pappa Rodger Mirrored Kohberger's Survey Questions (And EVERYTHING Else!) If Segment 1 introduced the Pappa Rodger mystery, Segment 2 takes us straight into the details that make it impossible to ignore. The most unsettling? Pappa Rodger's prediction about a knife sheath before it was ever public knowledge. That wasn't a casual guess. That was either inside information or a voice speaking with terrifying precision. In this segment, Tony Brueski and retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer break down the eerie overlaps between Pappa Rodger's online posts and Kohberger's criminology work. The survey questions, the fixation on entry points, the obsession with why this house was chosen — the parallels are chilling. Even down to specific vocabulary. Coffindaffer highlights how Pappa Rodger used the word “dolt” — a term uncommon enough to feel like a signature, and one that mirrors the academic arrogance Kohberger displayed in real life. And then came the confusion: Pappa Rodger disappearing from one group, only for a “copycat” with the same profile picture to appear. Was that Kohberger trying to cover his tracks, or someone else hijacking the persona? The ambiguity has fueled speculation for years. Law enforcement says it wasn't him. But then why do the words sound like his? Why does the timeline match his behavior? Why do his online arguments mirror how he treated students, professors, and acquaintances in person? This segment digs into the forensic linguistics, the digital breadcrumbs, and the bizarre coincidences that make Pappa Rodger one of the most enduring mysteries in the Kohberger case. If it wasn't him, then someone out there was haunting these forums with uncanny knowledge. And that may be the scariest possibility of all. This week's guest is Rebecca Rodger, a podiatrist from Kendal, England, who proves there's no single path to success in our profession. From running a multidisciplinary clinic to working in COVID vaccination, and now shaping global wound care strategies at Convatec, Rebecca has redefined what it means to be a podiatrist. We discuss networking, mentorship, and the value of exploring non-traditional career paths, as well as why evidence-based wound care should be a priority for every podiatrist. ⭐ 5 Standout Takeaways Your podiatry skills are never lost; they serve as your ultimate career safety net. Non-traditional career paths expand the profession's global influence. Evidence-based care must be applied in private practice. Networking beyond podiatry broadens professional horizons. Mentorship accelerates growth and supports the next generation. “You can almost stagnate if you don't go onto the next opportunity.” My conversation with Rebecca was both inspiring and practical. She is proof that podiatry can open doors to diverse opportunities far beyond the clinic. Whether it's entrepreneurship, research, corporate health, or global strategy, our profession provides a platform for impact at every level. If you've ever thought about pivoting or exploring non-traditional career paths, Rebecca's story is a reminder that it's possible, and that your podiatry skills will always remain your foundation. Rebecca will be speaking at the 2026 Foot & Ankle Show in Liverpool - https://www.footandankleshow.com/speakers-2026/ If you're looking for a speaker for an upcoming event, you can email me at tyson@podiatrylegends.com or tf@tysonfranklin.com, and we can discuss the range of topics I cover. EXPOSING NEW Pappa Rodger Clues About Kohberger With Ret FBI Jennifer Coffindaffer The Idaho murders case has a digital ghost haunting it — an online persona known as Pappa Rodger. From the moment the crime shocked the nation, this mysterious account was posting eerily accurate predictions. The sheath, the weapon, even the patterns of behavior — it was all there before the public knew. And the question has never gone away: was Pappa Rodger really Bryan Kohberger? Law enforcement has insisted the answer is no. They claim after a “deep dive,” the account was ruled out. But retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer isn't quick to close that book. In this conversation with Tony Brueski, she digs into the contradictions: the combative tone, the obsessive need to prove superiority, the survey-like questions that echoed Kohberger's criminology work. VPNs and masked IPs make it nearly impossible to prove definitively. So should we really take “not him” at face value? The overlap is unnerving. Too precise to be coincidence, too familiar to ignore. If Pappa Rodger wasn't Kohberger, then who was it? Someone with an uncanny insight into the murders? A lucky guesser? Or another figure entirely with access to information they shouldn't have had? This isn't just about one case. It's about the way anonymity online can blur into real-world horror. Pappa Rodger may be gone, but the mystery lingers. And until the evidence is made public, we're left asking: how do you ever really prove a digital ghost isn't who you think it is? This week we have a bunch of questions on the subject of inheritance tax, trusts and estate planning. Fair to say, these stretched us quite a bit and we had some surprises as we researched the answers! Shownotes: https://meaningfulmoney.tv/QA23 01:45 Question 1 Hi Pete & Rodger Love the podcast as it has loads of useful information and you make it very simple (as it can be) and clear. Love how you bounce off each other and make it easy to listen to. My question is - I have a reasonably large SIPP that will if added to my house value push me well over the 1 million level. I see a lot of press articles about how it would be good to start reducing estates that are in this position to mitigate possible IHT. My stance is that I am only 60 married and feel that - 1. It's too early to know what the new rules will look like 2. If I die before 75 and my SIPP goes to my wife she can pull whatever out tax free (currently) and gift some IHT free, as long as she lasts 7 years. 3. If my wife dies first I can do some gifting at that stage to reduce estate / possible house downsize to give large gift again with the 7 year IHT rule. Why do anything at this stage that would incur a tax charge? Your thoughts on this approach would be very much appreciated. Kind regards, Jules 07:08 Question 2 Gents, Outstanding podcast which I have listened to for years from overseas in the Middle East. The thing I like most is your consistent message about simplicity, being intentional and using low cost funds. Every season reinforces financial education and I never tire of listening to you. Thank you. I have a general question that I thought might possibly apply to other listeners regarding income drawdown ie should I use my pension pot or ISA money first? My situation is slightly complicated as my personal allowance will be used up by a DB pension. I will have a DB pension at age 55 (approx £30k) plus I have a DC pension pot plus an ISA. If I would like a retirement income (pre-tax) of say £60K (ie over the current 40% tax rate threshold), what is the most tax efficient way of drawing the income? I'm aware that in future my pension will be liable to IHT so in essence could take a 40% hit on death. Should I take all additional income from my ISA until that runs out or take money from the pension pot up to the 40% tax rate band (approx £50k) and use the ISA thereafter to save me paying 40% tax on any pension pot money? Are there any online calculators that can help as I guess it's partly just maths? Many thanks, Ian 13:48 Question 3 Dear Pete and Roger, My mum passed away over a decade ago and since then my dad has met a new partner. They live together and own their own home, split 60% (my dad), 40% (his partner). He has said a “trust” has been set up so that should one of them die, the other can live it for as long as they want before it is sold and the money passed to their children. With some research, I think he might just mean a “declaration of trust” but I am unsure. I just want to know if there is anything I should be aware in terms of inheritance tax to make sure his (and my mum's) residence nil rate bands are still in place, as I remember you saying on a previous episode of the podcast that if a house is left “in trust”, it would wipe out the residents nil rate bands. The house is valued at approximately £725k and my dad's assets (including his share of the house) would be about £850k. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge, really enjoy the podcast. Steven 21:40 Question 4 Hello Pete & Roger Listening to you both has completely turned my future retirement around! My trajectory is now very positive as I'm building a decent DC pot to supplement my DB pension several years before I qualify for state pension. That's not just great financial progress, it's the life enhancement of 4 additional years of retirement at a time when im most likely able to make the most of it! Complete game changer with some knowledge and commitment to build a better future. Now, a query on the definition of income from the perspective of the gifts from surplus income exemption from IHT…….. Does regular (quarterly) UFPLS withdrawals count as income for these purposes? I know these gifts need to be from income-they can't be from capital withdrawals. However, when I take regular UFPLS withdrawals, am I taking capital withdrawals? I'm effectively selling down assets to get the UFPLS payments so really don't know if this is income or capital withdrawal for gifting purposes. Keep up the fabulous work. Thanks, Duncan 24:20 Question 5 Hi There Pete and Rodger, Long time listener, first time caller - been listening to and recommending your podcast to friends, family and colleagues for some time now! Keep up the great work! My question relates to Inheritance tax and is a question my mother has been wrestling with for some time. Long story short, my parents emigrated to south Africa from Scotland in the 80's where I was born - sadly my father past away when I was an infant. My mother remarried a South African gent and we all then came back to the England on a business secondment that never ended. My mother and adoptive father then divorced - over 20 years ago now! (Maybe not so short!) My mother has been getting her affairs in order (not due ill health - more my nagging after your fine education via the podcast). She discovered that due to the value of her house and savvy savings she may have an IHT issue. (I've told her to spend the lot!) The question she has been trying to get a straight answer about is whether she would be eligible to transfer the unused portion of my late father's basic threshold to limit her IHT exposure. Not sure this is in your wheelhouse given the complexities of foreign countries, remarriage etc. but hoped you might be able to point us in the right direction. She is hoping to get something in writing which solicitors seem to be reticent to do. Thanks again for the sterling work and look forward to many more episodes in the future! Kind regards, Craig Bell 31:18 Question 6 Hi there, thanks for a great podcast. I am a 67 yr old single woman with no children. I have 2 DB pensions + state pension, on which I live comfortably and can afford holidays etc. I have always been an investor and have £270k in stocks & shares ISAs. My house is worth £250k. As there are no direct descendants my estate will be liable for IHT under the new rules. Obviously I'd like to avoid that or reduce the amount payable, if possible. I have nieces and nephews who are at that stage of life at which a financial helping hand would be a great benefit, so can I do that without falling foul of the taxman? I do use the £3k gift tax allowance, but (ideally would like to give away £100 k). Is there a tax efficient way of doing that? Thanks for your help. J Harvey

This nearly two-hour episode runs through all 18 teams, in this order:* Penn State faces “semifinals or bust” season* Ohio State should step back, but how much can a team step back when it has Jeremiah Smith on one side of the ball and Caleb Downs on the other?* Oregon has a few question marks but all the talent in the world* Iowa has Rodger thinking about a darkhorse playoff run* USC beefs up and has a QB that you could look at in one of two ways* Michigan's season is “found money,” but how much cash is in there?* Wisconsin starts to get back to being Wisconsin* Minnesota has a great running back, an optimistic QB, and … ?* Indiana is poised to avoid a cliff after last year's breakout* Michigan State has an intriguing passing game. Will it be good?* Illinois, with a light schedule and a heavy defensive front, has a playoff shot* Nebraska figures out offensive line and maybe receiver, leaving a world of possibility in Dylan Raiola's second season* UCLA has a famous QB and a whole lot of questions (including that QB)* Maryland is still Maryland, but it might have its QB of the future* Washington could be the league's hardest team to make sense of either way* Northwestern will probably be bad, but it's a left tackle development hub now* Purdue has a good running back and, well, not much else* Rutgers continues to play Schianoball, and it's working fineAfter going through each team, the group awards preseason honors: The Split Zone Duo Dude of the Year, the Low-Key Cool Game of the Year, and the Coach Who's Not Gonna Be Here Next Year Award. Incel Extremism EXPOSED, From Elliot Roger to Bryan Kohberger In this special conclusion to our five-part deep dive, we bring together everything we've uncovered about the incel phenomenon—from its toxic digital roots to the real-world trail of blood it's left behind. This episode unpacks how loneliness, rejection, entitlement, and misogyny have merged into one of the most disturbing and violent ideologies of the internet age. We trace the timeline from Elliot Rodger's 2014 Isla Vista massacre—where he filmed his manifesto and became a cult figure in incel circles—through to copycat killers like Alek Minassian, Scott Beierle, and more. These aren't random killers. They're men who felt entitled to women's attention, rejected by society, and validated by online echo chambers that turned their self-pity into shared rage. And then there's the case of Bryan Kohberger—accused in the 2022 Idaho student murders. Though not confirmed to be an incel, his background paints a chilling portrait of social isolation, rejection, misogynistic behavior, and creepy patterns eerily aligned with known incel killers. We break down the evidence, the speculation, and why it matters—because even without a manifesto, the patterns are there. This isn't just a true crime breakdown. It's a look at how misogynistic extremism festers in online forums, how it radicalizes vulnerable young men, and why law enforcement is now calling it a domestic terror threat. If we want to stop the next Kohberger, the next Rodger—we need to understand how they're made. This is the final chapter. Watch it all come together. #Incel #BryanKohberger #ElliotRodger #AlekMinassian #TrueCrimeAnalysis #MisogynisticExtremism #BlackpillCulture #MassViolence #ToxicMasculinity #IncelTerrorism Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? From Rodger to Mass Murder: Inside the Violent Rise of Incel-Inspired Killers | Full Timeline Description: In Part 3 of our groundbreaking series, we take you beyond Elliot Rodger—and into the disturbing trend of incel-inspired mass murder. This isn't isolated. It's a pattern. From the Umpqua Community College shooting to the Toronto van attack, to the Tallahassee yoga studio massacre—we connect the dots between rage, misogyny, and mounting body counts. We walk you through the major cases: – Chris Harper-Mercer, who called Rodger a god. – Alek Minassian, who declared the “Incel Rebellion” had begun. – Scott Beierle, who left behind a manifesto about killing women. – Tres Genco, arrested with a hit list and plans to attack sorority girls. – Jake Davison, whose rampage in the UK showed this isn't just an American problem. We also cover near-misses, foiled plots, and the growing number of men radicalized by misogynistic forums and emboldened by martyr worship. These aren't just angry guys—they're extremists who believe women's rejection justifies bloodshed. You'll hear about what law enforcement is doing, why early warning signs are still being missed, and how toxic communities online continue to churn out would-be killers. This episode isn't for the faint of heart. But if you want to understand the deadly consequences of unchecked rage, this is the one to watch. #IncelTerrorism #MassShootingTimeline #AlekMinassian #ChrisHarperMercer #IncelThreat #DomesticTerror #MisogynyKills #TrueCrimeDoc #BehavioralThreats #OnlineRadicalization Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Elliot Rodger: The Supreme Gentleman Who Sparked a Killing Ideology | Day of Retribution Exposed Description: Before school shooters were idolized online and mass murderers had fan clubs, there was Elliot Rodger. In Part 2 of our deep-dive series, we dissect the 2014 Isla Vista massacre and the chilling manifesto that launched a movement. Rodger didn't just murder six people and injure 14 others—he filmed his rage, wrote a 137-page incel bible, and turned himself into a martyr for angry, entitled men online. He called it the “Day of Retribution.” Incels call him “Saint Elliot.” We break down how Rodger's hatred of women, social rejection, and deep narcissism made him the face of a new kind of domestic terrorism—one rooted not in religion or politics, but in misogyny and entitlement. We explore the language of his video, the themes of his manifesto, and how his actions inspired a wave of copycat killers. We also examine the missed red flags, from YouTube rants to police visits, that might've prevented it all. Elliot Rodger wanted the world to understand his pain. Unfortunately, thousands of men online still do—and some are ready to follow in his bloody footsteps. This is the true story of how one man's warped worldview became a global threat. #ElliotRodger #DayOfRetribution #IncelKillers #MisogynistTerrorism #TrueCrimeBreakdown #MassShooterProfile #IncelMartyr #BlackpillCulture #RedFlagMissed #SupremeGentleman Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The Apostle Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans in chapter 3, verse 23 that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” It's true. We are all sinners and in need of God's forgiveness and grace. Early Christians began to group sins together and by the 6th century, a list of seven sins had emerged. They were called the “seven deadly sins” because they lead to death. Others called them the “cardinal sins” or “capital vices” because they were the worst of the sins. In this series, each of our pastors will explore one of the deadly sins even as we give thanks for God's grace that frees us from sin. Today's scripture reading is Galatians 5:13-21.
