This season, we've been talking about how the construction industry is becoming more sustainable by reducing carbon emissions, increasing circularity and improving the well-being of people. But when it comes to sustainability, there's one more important component organizations across the industry are turning their attention to: social impact. Social impact shows up differently across organizations, but it shares a foundational focus on equity and philanthropy.
So far in our season about sustainability, we have focused on why and how the construction industry is innovating to help reduce our environmental impact through decarbonization and circularity.
