Large yikes. The film follows the thieving duo of Miguel and Tulio, who take a literal gamble on a map to the legendary city of gold that Miguel believes is so very real. When escaping from the people they conned with their loaded dice, they end up as accidental stowaways on the intimidating authoritarian Cortez's ship. Escaping the ship alongside one of Cortez's horses, they find themselves ashore in El Dorado. With the unplanned assistance from a fellow thief, they end up in the city of gold, where the people of city believe them to be prophesied returning gods.
