In Part 2, we pick up where we left off in Part 1, with Nicole's move to New York. She didn't necessarily have a plan for this cross-country relocation, but she dove in head-first nonetheless. Nicole of course turned to Craigslist to help her find a roommate. But she also hopped on FB Marketplace, which is where she eventually found someone. She moved in with an old friend from theater to an apartment in East Harlem on 125th Street. She considers her time in NYC "epic." She learned a lot, she grew up, she did laundry in the snow ... character-building, all of it. She came to hate winter, being a California girl and all. But she auditioned, worked as a waitress and bartender, and had a few other jobs. She made it onto New Amsterdam and Law and Order. At this point in the recording, thanks to my dorking about Nicole being the first guest of this podcast to have also appeared on Law and Order, we talk about that long-running TV show. There was also an "industrial sitcom" where Nicole played a lead character. Today, it is used to teach people around the world to speak English. Thanks to this and her own world travels, she gets recognized abroad. After nearly 10 years, she returned to The Bay, around the time of the pandemic. Part of it was COVID, but also, she feels that the Hollywood myth had been demystified. Nicole arrived at a new perspective on the industry, one that felt exploitative. And so she came home. Because Nicole and I recorded before Election Day, we go on a sidebar about what we thought might happen if you-know-who won. It's interesting to hear our chat about that from here. But I left it in for posterity, if for no other reason. Nicole's husband got COVID while they were still in New York. It was early in the pandemic, and NYC got hit hard. He wasn't able to go to the hospital, and so Nicole masked the fuck up and took care of her partner. She avoided contracting the new disease. He recovered, but it made her think of what could happen if one of their parents got it. That informed their decision to return to California. They were able to get on one of the last flights out of New York in April 2020. Once she got back home, she regrouped. It was still early during the shutdown and no one was shooting anything. She meditated, hiked, and cleaned her mom's house. In doing so, Nicole found a file cabinet full of her grandma's letters, including those from her time spent living in a San Francisco brothel. Her grandmother, Estrella Chavez, wrote about that time as well as her own ancestors, and Nicole was blown away. She discovered that the California State Assembly had named her grandma the first Filipina-American to do activism and cultural work in San Francisco. She was also recognized by Willie Brown when he was mayor. Around this time, she was also learning more about the uncle who gave her that camera—Patrick Salaver—and his work in the Civil Rights movement. Patrick was involved with the Third World Liberation Front that brought together many different ethnic student groups at SF State, including Filipinos. Discovering all this family heritage made Nicole focus on her own legacy. She had gotten into producing events for the Filipino community in South of Market. She was rolling. But then, she got pregnant. With a kid on the way, Nicole realized she needed a job. And that's how she got work as program manager at Balay Kreative. One idea she brought to her new job was starting a podcast to help amplify the stories of her community. Cultural Kultivators podcast serves to share Southeast Asian voices and stories and push the culture forward. Find it on Instagram and on all the podcast platforms. Also, please follow Kindred Kapwa, Nicole's production company. Learn more about her "Patrick Salaver Project," the life story of her uncle. We end the podcast with Nicole's take on this season's theme: Keep It Local. Photography by Mason J.

[SEGMENT 1-1] Freedom Coming 1 Check out our GARBAGE collection We are only a day away from reclaiming FREEDOM in America. I hope you've done me the honor of checking out my work at TKJN, and perhaps looked at our new merch. I would LOVE to get feedback on the new merch. If you see it, I can't imagine you not telling me how cool that stuff is? GetKrill.com/KevinJacksonbioptimizers.com/kjradioFreeGoldGuide.com/KJRadio [SEGMENT 1-2] Freedom Coming 2 You may not have seen me, but I'm looking rather fabulous and feeling great as well. I'm taking a regimen of products from Native Path, specifically Krill Oil. We are adding sponsors this week, and I'm THRILLED to have them on board. One built world class resorts and golf courses and changed the skylines of America's cities. He created the most popular entertainment show of his time. He managed large-scale enterprise with over 30,000 satisfied employees who, because of his employing them, put food on the tables of their families and autos into their garages. The other is a failed San Francisco politician who can't put two coherent sentences together, came in dead last in the primaries of 24 and then dropped out because of her clear unpopularity, did not receive a single vote to become the presidential candidate, and was elevated to the post of JOY purely for her color and sex. Let's begin the count with this fact: Kamala Harris has a horrible record with women Sure, Kamala Harris “networked” her way up the ladder—and hey, she's not the first to do it. Plenty of ambitious folks have used every tool at their disposal. But if you're going to trade favors for advancement, at least show up with some skills once you land the job. Let's be honest: Willie Brown wasn't exactly a heartthrob, and Harris wasn't exactly gracing the covers of beauty magazines either. But in sales, we call her choice “the ultimate sacrifice.” Willie got a career boost on his arm, and Harris got a rung up on the political ladder, even if she missed a few rungs in the competence department. The real kicker? Harris didn't just embarrass herself—she embarrassed the entire league of ambitious “hussies” who came before her. Many used their, ahem, “influence” not just to benefit themselves but to make some waves for other women. Harris? She went for herself. [SEGMENT 1-3] Freedom Coming 3 [X] SB – Dana White on mindboggling position we face Harris has a horrible record in public service Kamala Harris exemplified Jekyll and Hyde when you line up her actions with her “principles.” Case in point: she once gleefully recounted her marijuana use. While this could pass as a minor issues, except for the fact that she locked up countless Black men for doing the same thing. But hey, when you're riding that political elevator, a little hypocrisy shouldn't slow the ascent. And let's talk about her so-called “criminal justice record.” Harris loves to paint herself as the law-and-order warrior, boasting she's prosecuted “hundreds” of cases. The truth? It's closer to 20, if that. In the spirit of her old boss, Harris "padded" her resume more than a Schoch. As for going after criminal masterminds, look at what Harris considered a heinous crime. Truancy. But instead of working to understand why children were missing school, Harris to a sledge hammer to a thumbtack and decided to prosecute parents. Yes, Harris targeted and arrested parents of children who school. But her reason was not born of concern for students' academic success. Instead, Harris pursued this course because the state of California loses funding when attendance drops. No funding, no money for the state coffers—that's the math she cared about. And for families who couldn't pay the fines? Tough luck. Harris wasn't about to let a single mom's struggles get in the way of her precious attendance counts. Clearly, Harris prioritized the state's budget over families' stability. I know the feeling—my family's down to one car thanks to a supply-chain crisis courtesy of the Biden-Harris duo. Now my son's late to first period every day. But in Kamala's world, that means I could be up for “truancy crimes,” and she'd probably cackle as they hauled me in. [SEGMENT 1-4] Freedom Coming 4 I said I would discuss something that didn't seem like that big of a deal, until you put it in perspective. And that's a comment made by Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin. The most dangerous people on the planet are the American Leftists. They have no limits to which they won't pursue power and wealth. And that includes assassinating a president. Watch as Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin explains how Democrats operate their "peaceful transition of power". [X] SB – Jamie Raskin Steal it in the states, DOJ, or with election officials Democrats honor elections Pol Sci: fascists Don't accept the outcome Embrace political violence Organized “top down” Raskin just revealed Democrats' plan. Because Democrats are bold enough to tell you what they plan, but pretending it's what the other side is planning. While many people won't say the obvious out loud, I will do so. Again. And I will simultaneously translate what Raskin said: "Democrats cheated in 2020 and stole the election from Donald Trump. But they know they can't steal this one, so they want a Trump win to appear to be Trump's theft of the 2024 election." The reason Democrats didn't want a second Trump term is simple: Trump was effective at Phase I of draining the swamp of the people who have milked and bilked American citizens for decades. But the Democrats made a few grave mistakes. First, the blatant theft of the election, and the things that triggered it. For example, working with the Chinese to release a bug that allowed for the theft. Yes, our National Institute of Health led by Fauci the fraud colluded with the Chinese to release the Wuhan, aka China Virus around the world. The intent of the release was to cause governments, specifically America to keep citizens at home. This led to mail-in ballots, which Democrats pre-printed with Biden. At the appropriate time, 3A Eastern time, operatives stole the election from Trump. Second, Democrats orchestrated January 6, working with terror groups and the FBI [I know, redundant] to pretend that Trump didn't want a "peaceful transition of power". Obama's "peaceful transition of power" Before I continue, let's go back 2016, when Obama promised a peaceful transition of power. In fact what Obama did was work with his Department of Justice to actually target and persecute Trump from Day One of his election victory. Recall that Admiral Rogers blew the whistle on Obama and informed Trump that his base of operations at Trump Tower have been compromised. Yes, Obama's DOJ was spying on Trump's transition team. Next, Obama's FBI targeted Trump transition team members, specifically General Flynn in order to disrupt Trump's ability to begin draining the swamp. During the 4 years of Trump's presidency, Obama's legacy DOJ worked a bullsh*t Russian collusion story, and wholly ignored the real criminal in that particular case, Hillary Clinton. As we would learn, Clinton's team started this nonsense of Russian collusion and the FBI knew the story was bogus from the start. By the end of Trump's term, panic set in for Democrats, because Trump actually followed through with his campaign promise to MAGA. Thus, the remnant Obama DOJ plotted the successful coup of 2020. In Part 2, we pick up where we left off in Part 1. Aaron talks about volunteering at a nonprofit in The City called the Trust for Public Land, where he learned about land acquisition for parks and open spaces. Through that gig, he got a paid internship and eventually, a job. In fact, he met Nancy, the woman he would later marry, there. He eventually moved into Nancy's apartment in North Beach, his first apartment in SF. The move came shortly after the couple visited Nepal to climb in the Himalayas. It was October 1989, when the Loma Prieta earthquake happened. We fast-forward to 2000, the year I moved to San Francisco. I set the stage for my first brush with Aaron at this point in the recording. My first apartment was on California Street near Larkin. The cable car runs on that block. One day, still very new in The City, I spotted a politician on a cable car campaigning. Back then, I had no idea what the Board of Supervisors was. But lo and behold, it was Aaron Peskin, campaigning for his first term on the Board. Aaron then tells the story from his point of view, backing up just a few years. In his time at the Trust for Public Land, he worked with elected officials often. He learned his way around Sacramento and DC. But more pertinent to this story, Aaron also worked with a North Beach tree-planting organization—Friends of the Urban Forest, in fact—and the Telegraph Hill Dwellers to be specific. The work involved getting volunteers together, convincing folks who'd lived in the neighborhood for decades to plant trees on the sidewalks in front of their houses. It was the late-Nineties. The first dotcom boom was still happening. Willie Brown was at the height of his mayoral power. Chain stores were trying their hardest to move into North Beach. Aaron remembered that he knew the mayor from his work with the trust, and got a meeting with Brown. He brought several disparate groups together with the mayor. Brown told Peskin, "If you don't like the way I run this town, why don't you run for office?" From that dismissive comment, Aaron got involved in the upstart mayor campaign, in 1999, of Supervisor Tom Ammiano. Through this, he met many folks from many grassroots and neighborhood organizations. Ammiano, a write-in candidate, forced a December runoff, which he lost to Willie Brown. But the experience transformed Aaron Peskin. Ammiano urged Aaron to run for the DCCC shortly after the election. Looking over what he'd already accomplished, he ran and got a seat on the committee. It was March 2000. That fall would see the resumption of supervisor district elections, vs. at-large contests where the top-11 vote-getters won seats on the Board that had been in place since 1980. Again, Ammiano nudged Aaron to run for the newly created District 3 supervisor seat. He thought, Why not try once? He won the seat. Aaron credits campaign volunteers with earning that victory. He ended up serving two four-year terms as the D3 supervisor. We fast-forward a bit through those eight years. Highlights include Matt Gonzalez's run for mayor in 2003, Aaron's dive into areas of public policy he had been uneducated on prior to his time in office, and bringing people together to get stuff done. I ask Aaron if it's all ever overwhelming. He says yes, and rattles off the various ways—hiking, canoeing, yoga— he deals with that. We talk about his addiction to alcohol as well, something he's kicked for the last three years. Aaron was termed out in 2008, and says he saw it as the end of a chapter of his life. He ran for the DCCC again, where he won a seat and was the chair of that group from 2008–2012. He helped get out the vote for Barack Obama in 2008, working to send volunteers to Nevada. After 2012, he figured he was totally finished with politics. He went back to the Trust for Public Land. But then a funny thing happened. Aaron's chosen successor for D3 supervisor, David Chiu, won the seat and took over after Aaron was termed out in 2008. Then, in 2014, Chiu ran for an California Assembly seat and won. Then-Mayor Ed Lee appointed Julie Christensen. A special election in late-2015 saw Peskin run against Christensen, mostly at the urging of Rose Pak. He won that election, as well as the "normal" district election the following year. By the end of this year, he'll be termed out again. Highlights of Aaron's second stint on the Board of Supervisors, for him, include: He's become the senior member of the Board, having served with 42 different other members. He's also come to relish the role of mentor for new supervisors. He goes over a litany of other legislation he's either written or helped to get passed Moving forward to the issues of today and Aaron's run for mayor, he starts by praising the Board and the Mayor's Office for coming together to deal with COVID. Then he talks about ways that he and Mayor London Breed have worked together in their times in office. And then we get into Aaron's decision, which he announced this April, to run for mayor. It was a love for The City and the people who live here. It was a lack of what he deems "real choices" in the race. But it was also what Aaron and many others, including myself, see as a billionaire-funded, ultra-conservative attempt to take over politics in San Francisco. It all added up to something he felt he had to do. Aaron says that, unlike his first run for supervisor, when it comes to his candidacy for mayor, he's "in it to win it." We recorded this podcast at Aaron Peskin for Mayor HQ in July 2024. Photography by Jeff Hunt

Today we get back to a more typical show, opening with something I brought to you on Monday of this week, but it seems to have taken everyone else some time to catch up. Donald Trump sent out a message about the transcripts proving he ordered troops for safety and security and his orders were not followed on January 6, 2021. We follow that with a shocking drop in the Consumer Confidence Index. It seems many Americans and growing more pessimistic about the economy by the day. The Daily Mail tried to find evidence of Kamala Harris working hard on the committees she was appointed to by then-boyfriend Willie Brown. This goes hand-in-hand with an effort to find any evidence that Harris tried any of her own cases as a DA or AG, including any appeals she may have argued. So far, none can be found. Nancy Pelosi says it isn't as important for Harris to define policy so long as she is relatable to people. In other words, Harris needs to keep lying to pretend she knows what it's like to be in the middle-class. To this end, Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) says Americans just can't remember how bad the economy was four years ago. Stephanie Ruhle of MSNBC decided to host an interview with Harris. We know it was edited and not live, but Harris still managed to give us plenty of fodder to illustrate what a low-IQ politician she is. We end with a bite about the border and the border bill and then remind you about testimony recently given by police over just how bad the Harris-Biden border policy has been. Joe Biden has caused a problem for the Harris campaign. While she, her hubby and everyone else is trying to convince you she has had no authority in the Biden White House, Biden told the view he delegated a lot to her, both in terms of domestic policy and foreign. An FBI whistleblower says the FBI is not capable of fixing itself and is not focused on the imminent dangers facing the country. He suggest all citizens need to vote, learn how to defend themselves and stock up on 3-4 months of food. Finally, we end with a Deep Thoughts by VP Kamala Harris segment, followed by another sound bite that was a close runner-up. Remember, she is being sold as the smartest choice since Joe Biden. Think about that. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. In this episode of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered,” Sara dives into the troubling allegations surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs and his past interactions with Justin Bieber. Examining resurfaced footage, Sara discusses Combs' inappropriate remarks about his time with Bieber and questions what may have occurred behind the scenes. She calls out the failure of adults in Bieber's life to protect him from potentially harmful environments during his formative years. Sara then shifts to the controversy involving RFK Jr. and journalist Olivia Nuzzi, who is facing allegations of harassment. RFK Jr.'s team claims Nuzzi sent him unsolicited explicit material, raising questions about the timing of these accusations, especially after his endorsement of Donald Trump. Sara explores the possibility of political motivations behind the scandal. Next, the episode tackles the disturbing rise of euthanasia, highlighting a U.S. woman who used a 3D-printed "suicide pod" in Switzerland to end her life. Sara draws connections between this case and the broader global trend of normalizing death, from euthanasia laws to shocking stories of abandoned newborns. She and her guest emphasize the importance of valuing life and talk about an organization that works to offer alternatives through baby drop boxes. The episode also features a sharp critique of Vice President Kamala Harris, who recently claimed she “worked her ass off” to get where she is today. Sara questions Harris' political rise, pointing out her controversial relationship with Willie Brown and her frequent absences from key positions. The discussion wraps up with a look at President Joe Biden's latest gaffe as Sara highlights the ongoing leadership failures in the White House. Sara is joined by Blaze Media investigative journalist Steve Baker and Jaco Booyens, founder of Jaco Booyens Ministries. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

When Zig predicts it right he lets you know about it and this episode contains multiple stories where Zig called it as few others saw it and turned out to be right on target. It starts with a night of missed opportunities as Trump fumbled the ball all over the field. Yes the moderators were biased and nobody fact-checked Harris but every time an opening for Trump to do real damage presented - he dropped the ball. There will be few if any other opportunities like last night the rest of the way (1:00-57:00). The media rush to declare Harris the winner (57:00-1:08:00). SEASON 3 EPISODE 19: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Once again, American political media is broken in a new way. Trump has now blamed the families of the dead servicemen he was supposedly honoring at Arlington for his campaign illegally filming and illegally using that video for political purposes. The female victim of physical abuse by Trump staff is afraid to escalate her complaint and so is the military - and the media is doing its best to cover it all up like they cover up everything else Trump does. TRUMP filmed a commercial while standing on top of the graves of dead American war heroes. I'm surprised he didn't try to sell us sneakers or bitcoin or the rest of his crap. And his staffers assaulted a woman employee at Arlington National Cemetery. And he blamed the families of the dead because his campaign broke the law. And his fascist gang of thugs is running wild with this as if Kamala Harris has anything to do with it. And eight days later there STILL isn't a Senate investigation or a Defense Department investigation and one of them better be started goddamned immediately. The media is ALSO covering up Trump's Egypt bribe, his mental condition, whatever was in the emails hacked from his campaign, and the nonexistent Wille Brown Flight Logs. Because between its own failures, its own loss of moral compass, and its own fear of retribution, it is a de facto arm of the Trump campaign. THERE IS GOOD POLLING NEWS: Not only is Harris up by 6 in ABC-Ipsos but the Times' battleground data suggests the number one issue for women in swing states has changed from the economy to abortion. And private polling for Trump in New Hampshire is so bad they're punting the state - and punting the guy whose memo about the polling somehow got to the Boston Globe. B-Block (30:41) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Peter Hasson of Free Beacon and the implication that because Kamala Harris never put her summer job on her resume, it didn't happen (I will tell you of my summer job climbing into Hostess Thrift Store Dumpsters with an exacto knife). Harris has "puppet masters" says Tulsi Gabbard, who evidently doesn't know about antisemitic tropes. And Erick Erickson says her career began on her knees in front of Willie Brown, as if Erick Erickson could ever get up off his own knees. C-Block (43:40) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: If fall college semesters have started and the National Football League starts Thursday that means only one thing for me: the day my college professor nearly failed all of us, because of one of the most infamous meatheaded plays in NFL history. The DNC had great ratings but no Beyonce...we are truly living in the idiocracy as evidenced by the production put on in Chicago last week. No solutions, no policies, no substance but lots of momentum moving forward (1:00-40:00). The level of deceit was hard to believe (40:00-54:00). The new masculinity is having no masculinity (54:00-1:12:00). Willie Brown weighs in on his gal Kamala (1:12:00-1:20:00). Will RFKJ's endorsement of Trump make a difference? (1:20:00-1:40:00). Bill Maher takes on CNN and Kaitlyn Collins (1:40:00-1:54:00). Trump's businesses are raking in the cash from republican campaigns (1:54:00-2:00:00). Zig thinks about getting off the Deion train before football season even begins (2:00:00-2:08:00).Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-death-of-journalism--5691723/support.

This week, we invited former ABC News anchor Carolyn Tyler as a guest host to interview the Honorable Willie L. Brown, Jr. about the upcoming 2024 election and the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris. The Honorable Willie L. Brown, Jr. is the first Black and longest-serving Speaker of the California State Assembly, and the first Black Mayor of San Francisco. He made a significant impact both in the Assembly, where he authored groundbreaking bills, and in San Francisco, where he oversaw major changes. Brown, now 90, met Kamala Harris 30 years ago when she was an Alameda County prosecutor. Vice President Harris, born in Oakland and raised in Berkeley, is one of many national leaders from the San Francisco Bay Area. Tune in as we explore why this region has produced so many influential political figures with Carolyn Tyler and Willie Brown.
Join Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy and Savage for a personal conversation about the upcoming election and the exciting next chapter for the growing media company. First, they discuss what Trump needs to do in order to defeat Kamala Harris in November's election. Both stress the need to emphasize Trump's business success and policy record. Ruddy shares about his recent trip to San Francisco and his visit with Savage. They warn that the radical policies that have devastated California will follow Harris to the White House. Find out what Willie Brown told Ruddy about Kamala Harris! Then, Ruddy sheds light on his decision to take Newsmax public and how people can invest in the successful media company. Elon Musk has produced some new legal issues for us this week. He has sued a coalition of advertisers for colluding to boycott the Twitter platform, saying this is an antitrust violation, and Musk is also the subject, along with Donald Trump, of a labor law complaint before the National Labor Relations Board, filed by the United Auto Workers.Plus: Trump may sue the federal government over the Mar-a-Lago raid, Missouri will not get the Supreme Court to consider whether its voters were harmed by the gag order in Trump's New York criminal case. Saying that JD Vance fucked a couch isn't defamatory (it's satire) and saying Trump wasn't almost in a helicopter crash with Willie Brown isn't defamatory either (it's true). And Trump's campaign was hacked. And oh my god, the Young Thug Georgia RICO trial, it's an even bigger mess than the Trump Georgia RICO trial.Visit serioustrouble.show to sign up for our newsletter and find a transcript of this episode. SERIES 2 EPISODE 7: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:44) SPECIAL COMMENT: Trump. Friday, Microsoft said the Iranians would try to meddle in the election. SATURDAY… YOUR campaign computers get hacked - you say. By the Iranians – you say. And you didn't report it to the FBII. Even though it's by Iran and part of your whole campaign scam, Trump, is that Iran is the root of all evil. And you didn't report it to the F-B-I, and you didn't provide any evidence. Only yesterday, the FBI issued another anonymous, not even a spokesman's name attached to it, just like that No-He-Was-Too-Hit-By-A-Bullet announcement – gave a clear and compelling picture of the vast team that has fanned out across the country, across the internet, across the world to track down this evil. Quote: “We can confirm the FBI is investigating this matter.” Investigating… who? Investigating… what? Whether they were really hacked? Whether they were really hacked by the Iranians? Whether Trump made it all up? Whether the Trump campaign fell for some sort of phishing by a porn site? Also the material was supposed to hurt Trump? And was leaked to The Washington Post and Politico, which have repeatedly been helping Trump in this campaign? What's hurting Trump, and which the media is under-reporting, is that his polls are now cratering. Last week The New York Times had Kamala Harris ahead by 4 in each of the Rust Belt States. Now, Bullfinch Group for a site supposedly servicing independent voters: Harris by FOUR in Pennsylvania, by FIVE in Michigan, by NINE in Wisconsin. There's a tie in North Carolina. There's a lead of nearly three points at 538 and of more than half a point at the right-poisoned RCP poll of polls. And most staggeringly - and most undercovered - from The New York Times: “Two private polls conducted in Ohio recently by Republican poillsters – which Mr. Trump carried in 2020 with 53 percent of the vote – showed him receiving less than 50 percent of the vote against Ms. Harris in the state, according to a person with direct knowledge of the data.” Holy crap. B-Block (31:40) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The unaided ease by which that Turkish guy won a shooting medal at the Olympics has the inevitable side effect. 27% of Brits tell pollsters that if they started now THEY could make the 2028 British Olympic team. The aforementioned LaCivita gets blown up by Matt Dowd over Swift Boating. And the tape CNN found from January 6th from the North Carolina candidate to run schools there, Michele Morrow. All it is is a demand that Trump conduct a military coup against then President-elect Biden. (41:50) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: In memory of WCBS Radio, the day its news director validated my entire existence as an aspiring 20-year old broadcaster. The saga of The Adler Letter. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (07/31/2024): 3:05pm- On Wednesday, Donald Trump spoke at the Members of the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago. The Q&A started off with ABC's Rachel Scott ostensibly accusing Trump of being a racist. In his retort, Trump explained that Scott's question was unnecessarily hostile—revealing that Scott was 35-minutes late to begin the conversation. Trump also noted that his administration adopted many policies that benefited the Black community—and that presumed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris declined to attend the convention. 3:20pm- In the week since President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and selected Kamala Harris to be his successor, clips have emerged of Harris advocating for some truly bizarre policies—including a ban on fracking, a mandatory gun buyback initiated via executive authority, placing a limit on red meat consumption, providing taxpayer-funded health care to undocumented migrants residing in the country illegally, and the complete abolition of private health insurance. 3:40pm- Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL)—U.S. Representative for Florida's 19th Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania tonight at New Holland Arena. The event starts at 6:00pm. Plus, Rep. Donalds reacts to Trump's participation in the Members of the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago earlier today. He also calls out Kamala Harris for “flip flopping” on policy. For example, she has repeatedly called for a ban on fracking for years but recently changed her preference to presumably be a more appealing candidate in Pennsylvania. 4:05pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During his opening statement, Rowe said he “cannot defend” the rally's security failures. He explained: “What I saw made me ashamed.” In one notable exchange, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MI) grilled Rowe and expressed confusion as to how no one—despite the agency's failures—was fired. Hawley exclaimed: "The former President was shot! Just fire somebody!...We have people who are dead!" On Wednesday, a previously unreleased video of the shooting found its way to social media—offering an alternate angle and further emphasizing the monumental security failure. 4:10pm- On Wednesday, Donald Trump spoke at the Members of the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago. At another moment in the moderated conversation, Trump was asked if Harris was a Biden Administration “D.E.I hire.” He responded: "She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black—and now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don't know. Is she Indian or is she Black?" 4:15pm- While speaking at the Members of the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago, Donald Trump hilariously stated he wanted to bring inflation down so that people can afford bacon again! 4:20pm- Flashback: When asked about policies that could potentially reduce the cost of goods and combat inflation, Vice President Kamala Harris was unable to provide a coherent answer. 4:25pm- While speaking on behalf of Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro exclaimed: “I've got a message to Donald Trump—stop sh** talking America.” In recent days, Shapiro has seemingly swung wildly to the left in attempting to appeal to Harris as a Vice Presidential pick. If he isn't ultimately selected, will his perception as a “moderate” be irreversibly damaged? Interestingly, of the Vice Presidential contenders, Mark Kelly enjoys the highest net favorability rating—is it a coincidence that he's also the only contender not regularly appearing on television or at rally's saying outlandish things to appease Harris' campaign? 4:30pm- While appearing on CNN, journalist Gretchen Carlson noted that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's response to sexual harassment allegations brought against one of his top aides could pose a major risk for Kamala Harris should she pick him to be his running mate. 4:40pm- In a video that has now gone viral, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro can be seen missing a 12-foot jump shot over and over and over again at a Philadelphia Youth Basketball league. When he finally hits the short-range jumper, the kids in attendance go wild—reacting as though Shapiro had just hit a buzzer beater in game seven of the NBA finals. 5:05pm- Josh Shapiro Can't Stop Cursing: While speaking with Meidas Touch Network, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro cursed three times in less than a minute. Rich wonders if Shapiro keeps cursing to try to impress Kamala Harris—is it working? 5:20pm- CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten has called Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro the best potential running mate for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris. 5:35pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During his opening statement, Rowe said he “cannot defend” the rally's security failures. Hawley exclaimed: "The former President was shot! Just fire somebody!...We have people who are dead!" On Wednesday, a previously unreleased video of the shooting found its way to social media—offering an alternate angle and further emphasizing the monumental security failure. 5:40pm- Dr. E.J. Antoni—Research Fellow in The Heritage Foundation's Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the U.S. national debt topping $35 trillion. Outlandishly, the interest payments on the debt are now roughly $1 trillion annually! Plus, is it true that Dr. Antoni and Elon Musk are basically best friends on X now? 6:05pm- Will Josh Shapiro Be The VP Pick?: Holly Otterbein and Eugene Daniels of Politico report: “Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to announce her running mate by Tuesday, when she will hold her first rally with her pick in Philadelphia.” Does this mean Shapiro might be the pick? Polls show Harris' momentum sustaining while conservatives seem unconcerned (3:50-31:00). Trump should consider a deal with RFKJ (31:00-34:00). Harris getting treated the way she treated Willie Brown by the press (35:00-37:00). A complete ret-con of Harris' career and policy positions is underway (38:00-52:00). Trump is off on his comedy tour seemingly oblivious to what is happening and his choice of JD Vance as VP is not helping his cause (52:00-1:05:00). Did Mr Zig have it correct about Harris' VP choice? (1:06:00-1:16:00). Was Trump really struck by a bullet and did he say "gunman" or "government"? (1:18:00-1:24:00). Biden's joke of a withdrawal speech and why is he still President? (1:25:00-1:33:00). The opening ceremony of the Olympics went too far but at least Matt Lauer didn't have to cover it. Many NBC announcers are covering it - but not from Paris (1:33:00-1:45:00).Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-death-of-journalism--5691723/support.

Megyn Kelly is joined by Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri to discuss the Secret Service director finally resigning after her terrible appearance before Congress, the failure of law enforcement at the Trump rally causing the attempted assassination, the blame game we're seeing now, the lack of accountability and transparency, the contemptible actions of Sec. Mayorkas and the FBI in the wake of the assassination attempt, the attempted rebrand of VP Kamala Harris, the Democratic elite installing Harris as their new "party puppet," whether Harris could end up as president over the next few weeks and months, and more. Then Charlie Spiering, author of "Amateur Hour," joins to discuss how the elite on the left are attempting to rebrand Harris and appoint her as the nominee, calling her a "wine aunt," her history of rocky workplace relationships, why it's fair game to question how Harris got her start in politics involving her relationship with Willie Brown, her early work in San Francisco, the talking point about her being a tough prosecutor, Harris' terrible run as the "border czar," her far left believes on social issues, Kamala having a "brat summer," and more. Then Mike Baker, host of "The President's Daily Brief," joins to discuss how Secret Service should have handled the Trump rally, the timeline of events during the assassination attempt, all the areas where law enforcement went wrong, the breakdown of leadership and communication, the lies about "sloped roof" and more, and more.Hawley- https://x.com/HawleyMOSpiering- https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Amateur-Hour/Charlie-Spiering/9781668046074Baker- https://www.youtube.com/@presidentsdailybriefMagic Spoon: https://Magicspoon.com/MK or use promo code MK Prager U: Make a 100% tax-deductible donation at https://PragerU.com/Socks & get your socks todayNative Path: Visit https://nativepath.sale/MK now to claim your exclusive up to 45% OFF discount. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, we bring you the best of Mark Levin. All eyes were on President Biden during the Presidential debate, and he was embarrassing, exposing his mental frailty on national television and sending Democrats into a panic. The Democrat party and their media are diabolical and never give up whether they stick with Biden or not and will plot to win the election and dig even harder on Donald Trump. We have lawless lawyers in black robes twisting laws like the Enron Act in order to convict Trump because Biden has weaponized his Department of Justice. Later, the new media lie is that the 6 Supreme Court justices in the immunity case are all sucking up to President Trump. Chief Justice John Roberts, who wrote the immunity decision, is no fan of Trump. Indeed, he publicly criticized Trump some years ago for Trump's criticism of Democrat-appointed jurists. The idea that Roberts bent over backward to deliver Trump an immunity decision that allows him to order the assassination of a political opponent is so disgustingly insane on every level, its demagogues must be openly condemned -- from Sonia Sotomayor to President Biden, from MSNBC to CNN, and the rest of the mouthpieces for American Marxism. Also, If Biden drops out (doubt it, but who knows) go for it, Kamala Harris. Kamala is reportedly upset that she's being overlooked in all the gossip because she is a black woman. You tell them, Kamala! Is the Democrat Party racist and misogynist? Is it truly committed to DEI or will it now resort to a different standard? We shall see! After all, she is so accomplished, such a leader. Just ask Willie Brown. Afterward, the Democrats and their media claim they are the Constitution originalists! For years the Democrats and their media have told us that the Constitution is old, it is a document drafted and adopted by white slaveholders, it is an obstacle to civil rights and progress, etc. The Framers have been condemned, their names removed from buildings, their monuments destroyed, etc. Yet, today, right now, the same Democrats and media are claiming that our precious Constitution is being destroyed by Supreme Court justices who believe in and practice constitutional originalism! That's right! Those who hate the Constitution and its authors insist that they are the true believers and adherents to the original principles, values, and words on which our country -- which they said was hopelessly racist and unequal (CRT, DEI. ESG, 1619, etc.) -- established. Finally, after 23 years Mark and Westwood One have extended their contract for multiple years. Mark said “I understand my obligation is to serve the millions of patriotic Americans in the audience. I am blessed to do what I do, and I am committed every day to providing detailed analyses of current events along with historic context, commentary, and my in-depth perspectives to deliver the very best broadcasting I am able to share with our many listeners.” Learn more about your ad choices. This guy is a hardcore leftist and senior party man. He would not have written this letter without the consent if not urging of House leadership.
