At just 13 years old, Alex Londo began his journey in video production as a volunteer for a local public access television station. By the age of 18, he had already played a key role in the creation of 500 television shows, including a fantasy football series that was featured in a SpikeTV documentary. Although Alex briefly attended college, his professors recognized his exceptional talents in video production and advised him to drop out, build a portfolio, and seek employment. Alex soon became the multimedia producer for Anytime Fitness corporate offices, where he was responsible for producing national video content for commercials, social media, and training purposes. It was during this time that he met Eric Matas, with whom he would collaborate frequently. Together, they realized the need for a free and user-friendly platform for creating and sharing learning content, leading to the birth of JazzJune. https://jazzjune.com/

This is a very unique side conversation (that really has nothing to do with small business). Ethan asked the question, "When would a soldier in face to face battle get exhausted?". This episode is all about us chasing that squirrel.
Cash is King and MORE is always better...Right? In this episode we explore how sometimes too much cash can actually hurt your business, especially if you are just starting out. We like to call it the nuances of cash flow, subtle but important things to know about managing cash.
Whether you want to admit it or not, nepotism is found in every business. Now to be clear, that doesn't mean that every business hires their nephew, rather every business shows favoritism based on relationships in the workplace. The reason we decided to focus on nepotism rather than just favoritism is because there are some many times that our close relationships or our blood relationships effect our business decisions. This doesn't mean that all familial decisions and situations are bad, but to avoid the challenges that plague so many businesses, we decided to talk about how best to manage nepotism in your business.
Since we just celebrated Independence Day, we decided to do a side conversation on celebrating our independence. We talk about anything and everything taboo - politics, racism, religion, etc., all in the spirit of freedom, respect, and tolerance for all humans.
This is a topic we're pretty passionate about...not working just to "get your hours in". So many companies require their employees to get all their hours, but this is usually more expensive, less effective, and promotes poor work ethic. This episode goes deep into how to break free from old-school thinking about hours and adjust your company to focus on what really matters...productivity.

We decided to go into our take on health and culture in this side conversation. This is a conversation about taking care of yourself that kinda spilled into different aspects of culture. It all ties into business, but as a Side Conversation it's definitely opinionated.
This is a different episode from our normal style. In fact, we debate back and forth as to whether this episode should be a side conversation, but really this episode goes into some pretty advanced concepts about pricing for major expansions. So if you want to dig a little deeper into pricing strategies and all the unforeseen nuances on growth expansion this is a great episode for you. Also, this episode dives into a case study of a current expansion that Ryan is working on. It's a unique listen, we hope you enjoy.

This is a term we've coined to talk about businesses that are essentially the "living dead", meaning they're in business but aren't really alive or thriving. This is a common issue in small businesses so we want to prepare you on how to not become a zombie yourself and how to stay away from getting infected by other zombies.
