Jagerpodders! Welcome to Episode 24! The first episode of 2019. This episode is our penultimate of the Edinburgh Series and we’re so lucky to have the lovely Jenny Collier. We talk about weird gigs, worst jobs and so esoteric and eclectic comedy questions. It’s a great interview. There is a lot of background noise, which is far from ideal, but it is the nature of the podcast. However the interview is worth the background issues. Listen to it on a Friday night and it acts like a substitute to going outside. Remember to follow us on Social media at @DrunkComPod and to give us 5 Stars on Itunes. Hey Presec-Ho-Ho-Hoes. This is our December 2017 episode and the last one of the year and it is a big ol' episode with the formidably funny and ingenuius, Archie Maddocks. But we also chat about some light subjects like Richard Pryor, walk-in music and the role of honesty in comedy as well. Its a well balanced episode with a lot to say. I'm proud of it. Thanks to Archie for his time. Since it's the season for giiving, why don't you follow us on social media (@DrunkComPod) AND give us 5 Stars on Itunes? Hello back Drunkards! Lovely to have you back in the podcast saloon: where the drinks are as free as the podcast. This week we have another incredible and legendary comedian: ANDRE VINCENT. He is a stand-up hero and has been performing stand-up for over 30 years and amassed countless stories, stand-up experience and he is truly a wise comic mind. In this episode we discuss the state of comedy, Andre's career and some of the weirdest things we've seen on stage. One of the funniest podcasts I've ever recorded. You can watch Andre's show (mentioned on the podcast): Hurrah For Cancer (2003) on youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3HG4vGtdiU.And I also mentioned a badly paraphrased Louie scene and it is the "Duckling" episode in Afghanistan, in which he performs in front of troops. I can't find the exact clip, but you can buy the series/episode (or it might be on Netflix) - but here is a cute clip from that episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG0UVdO5xRs If you like this podcast please review and subscribe on Itunes. Welcome to the Drunken Comedian Podcast! This is the podcast where I (Matt Hoss) interview and chat to comedians over a couple of drinks and have to edit the podcast when hungover the following morning. This is the first episode, which is acting as a Pilot Episode. This means there will be some teething mistakes and some learning curves, but I think it turned out quite nicely. But feel free to make any comments and judge the pod accordingly. This first one had three comedians after a gig in Canterbury. We chat, drink and have a laugh. We have the fantastic acts of Winter Foenander (who runs The Comedy Defect podcast), Dave Bailey (Kent legend) and Reverend Ravi Holy (Semi-Finalist of So You Think You're Funny 2016 and practicing Reverend of the village of Wye) We talk about being a comedian, the gig we just had and the different nuances of performing. We also discuss hostile crowds and weird gigs. We have some great anecdotes for our pilot episode.
