原來這個詞，是2022 年才被收錄進《牛津英語詞典》的新單字呢！ doctor shopping= 到處求醫、把看醫生當逛街 有些老人家沒事就到處去醫院看診拿藥，把看醫生當逛街，這種行為就可以稱做 doctor shopping。 猜猜看被別人形容成chocolate teapot是褒還貶? 巧克力茶壺? 想想看巧克力怎麼能做茶壺，承受熱水的煮呢？ 因此他就是轉彎罵人說：你太廢啦...沒有用處... 其實類似的說法還有wooden frying pan 木頭煎鍋 木頭當作鍋子用，應該會燒起來吧，所以這說法其實就是偷偷罵別人「蠢材」 那猜猜看white elephant 白象是甚麼呢? 原來他就是指 華而不實的東西，看起來華麗但是不實用 有趣的是，國外很多人家外面會有個white elephant sale (白象拍賣會，把家中無用東西清出來的 ...) 就是在拍賣可能自己用不到，看起來好看，或許喜歡的人就可以找到物品的主人買下來唷~ 口語要表示東西沒有用了，可以說 It's useless.
