It is my pleasure to introduce you to my friend and my pastor, Tim Nuttall! He moved his amazing family to Windsor over 2 years ago, and has a natural way of showing appreciation to the people in his life. And appreciating life, period. To kick off BBTT (Band Back Together Thursday), it only made sense to re-group The Motor City Thunder with a Dash of Rock, otherwise known as The Insyderz! My Neighbourhood expanded tenfold when I was asked to join their team and negotiate their first record contract with Tim Taber (The Prayer Chain) and the legendary Gene Eugene (Adam Again, Lost Dogs, The Green Room), which also left them clear to record "Skalleluia" with music and film mogul Steve Taylor. Founding members Todd Miesch, Nate Sjogren and Joe Yerke share stories of hitting the road as teenagers, band pranks that worked (and others not so much), and the lessons they learned while encouraging rude boys and girls across the world. It is a delight to introduce Irene Moore Davis to the People In Your Neighbourhood. Irene loves both Black History and literature, and she is merging those two passions in her upcoming book, "Our Own Two Hands: A History Of Black Lives In Windsor From The 1700s Forward". We talked about how she can magically appear everywhere at the same time, and how she is staying creative and informed during this strange point in history. You will find a lot to learn from this engaging conversation!
