You might think that God doesn't hear you, or can't see your pain. Rest assured that God is with whether you feel Him or not. Trust that He is who He says He is.
My name is George Originales. My last name Originales is Spanish and in English it means, Originales... and yes... I know... It's an original last name. However my first name, George is from the Greek name Georgios which is derived from the Greek word Georgos which means "farmer, earthworker" or in other terms, gardener. I find the etymology of name interesting when considering that God gave the first humans the vocation of being gardeners. After God planted the garden in the east of the land of Eden, Genesis 2:15 says that "The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it." Adam and Eve's overall purpose was to tend to the Garden of Eden and when you think about it, all of us, each human is still given the vocation of being a gardener. We are created to care for God's garden. Now don't misunderstand me, I'm not teaching a Green Gospel or EcoGospel here. Yes, we should be good stewards of nature but I want you to think deeper. Each of us is born into God's creation for the purpose of worshiping our Creator and we do this by our good works and service to our fellow Gardeners. Ephesians 2:10 says "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." God has created you for good work. Consider that before before church systems and before Mosiac Law was established humanity’s means of service before the Lord was the good work of tending to His creation. Adam and Eve cared for the garden. Work was their ministry. Your ministry is where you are at any given moment. All of Creation is the garden we are created to work in. Your ministry is to be faithful with the position and area God has currently placed you in. Your ministry may not be what we have come to call full-time ministry, but remember that we are all called to tend to His creation in some way. The good work and service for others that God wants you to steward, may not look like everyone else's because we are all meant to tend to different areas of the Garden. But, wherever God has placed you, work confidently knowing that God will equip you to succeed. God has invited us into his work by placing potential within his creation and giving us the opportunity to help it thrive. One of the many amazing things I have realized as I tend to my part of God's Garden is that while we aim to help the Garden grow, God is growing us. Be faithful with your assignment and for the glory of Garden well.

The Christian life is not static. If you are a Disciple of Christ than you are suppose to be living on mission. Not doing so is living against the call of Christ. The major take-a-way I got from this conversation with Dr. Waltman was that I need to evaluate my life. Am I living on Mission? I encourage you Dear Christian... to evaluate your walk with Christ and consider the words of Dr. Waltman, "The great commission is the mandate of every Christian, and it is not something we outsource to experts such as missionaries." There are a lot of lost people out there. A lot of people living in hopelessness. What are you going to do about it?I dare you to pray this prayer everyday, "Lord, give me the opportunity to tell someone about you."Thank you for taking the time to listen to my conversation with Dr. Sam Waltman. I'd love to hear how God spoke to you through this episode. Please rate this podcast and leave a review or share a comment on Facebook.
