To make significant change, you must first believe that the world can be changed. Change isn't instant—it's like waves wearing down rocks on the beach. Over centuries, those rough, jagged rocks are transformed into smooth stones, not because it was easy, but because the waves were persistent and resilient against physical limits. The lesson? Be like the waves. Keep showing up. Be resilient enough to wear down the rough edges of a problem, slowly and steadily. Change happens not through force, but through persistence, patience, and the belief that even the hardest, most unmovable things can eventually shift.

If you're here because your friend or family member has just lost a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, failed embryo transfer, termination for medical reasons, SIDS, ectopic pregnancy or any other type of loss…Thank you. Feel defeated, afraid, or unable to move? This second message in the Five Smooth Stones series reminds us that we're never alone, and it challenges us to consider our spiritual awareness and paramount goal in life. What is your ultimate goal? Are you staying spiritually sensitive to defend the glory of God?Let God's glory be the paramount goal in your heart as it was in David's heart. At times spiritual battles will arise when you least expect them. Always be on guard and spiritually sensitive. Decide in your heart today that the battle is the Lord's. Decide and know in your heart that whatever you face in life, you are not alone. The battle may look impossible in your eyes, but it is not impossible for God Almighty. Don't look at the situation with your natural eyes. Look at it with eyes of faith, with your spiritual eyes wide open and with a heart like David; a heart for God. Remember always, the battle is the Lord's.See full notes and suggested praise and worship here: https://agfaithchapel.org/sermons-messages/whats-your-paramount-goal-5-smooth-stones-part-2Support this podcast at — www.agfaithchapel.org/give.This is brought to you by Faith Chapel church in Pleasanton, CA. Feel defeated, afraid, or unable to move? This message reminds us that we're never alone and offers advice for what to focus on and how to confront Satan. What voice are you focused on today? The enemy's voice or Jesus' voice? One voice breeds fear, doubt, and an array of questions. The other brings hope, faith, victory, and eternal life. With faith in Christ, you are never alone. Like David, focus on the Lord and listen for his voice. Jesus can bring victory in both as you walk in faith and not doubt. We must never allow doubt or discouragement to take up residence in our minds or hearts. Our faith is in God; in his strength and his ability. We must always remember the battle is the Lord's. Draw your strength, faith, and hope from the word of God and listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart each day as you focus on Christ the Lord.See full notes and suggested praise and worship here: https://agfaithchapel.org/sermons-messages/what-voice-are-you-focused-on-5-smooth-stones-part-1Support this podcast at — www.agfaithchapel.org/give.This is brought to you by Faith Chapel church in Pleasanton, CA. In the story of David and Goliath….we all know that David wins with day? Why? Because he did everything for the Lord and in the Lord. It's a great story. What we look at today in our final message on this event is our response to God giving us victory over the giants in our lives. How we respond to victory is tremendously important. Join us as we learn how Christians should respond in victory.
Today I speak with Amy Watson who has experienced stillbirth & miscarriage. She talks about pregnancy after loss, how she struggled but also how she supported herself through the different losses. The interesting part of her story is how differently she experienced her two losses and how she managed those differences. Amy says:‘I call it Radical Self-Compassion, which means you love every part of you, including the grief, including the trauma, including the mess that it at all is, because that's the reality of being a human. We go through these hard things and even if we don't realise it, we all have these ideas of what it's supposed to look like and how we're supposed to be. I mean, that kind of covers at all? It's like an umbrella: if you're just really kind yourself. Because sometimes we think, well, if I just love myself when I want to lay in bed, I'll just lay in bed forever, right? I'll never get any better. But the opposite is true because if you're kind and you just give yourself the space to maybe sleep in a little bit, you're probably going to process through. And end up being able to get going if you want to. Or maybe you lay in bed, and you don't make it mean anything about you.'About this week's guest Amy Watson is a certified life and grief coach. She takes her own experiences with stillbirth, miscarriage, and pregnancy after loss and combines them with proven techniques to help moms find themselves again after loss. Smooth Stones is a podcast for moms with angel babies. Amy says, pregnancy and infant loss happens every day to so many people, yet it is still not a comfortable subject in our society. I understand the unique challenges that come with loss, recurrent loss, pregnancy after loss, raising rainbows, sibling grief, and more. You don't have to struggle alone anymore.
