Back in 2015 two men died, one to prostate cancer and the other by suicide. Patrick and Nathan were both in their early 40's, not famous nor particularly well known by superstar standards, but were extremely well loved and adored by their mates. Part of the grief and loss journey experienced by this group of caring and considerate friends, Travis Strong, Scott Eccleston, Stewart Jonson, Michael Fung, Jeremy Kruse, Mark Delaney and Glenn Hull was to establish a not for profit initiative called White Owl for Men's Health. Adam Garone helped build The Movember Foundation into one of the most innovative and impactful charities created this millennium, working to change (literally and figuratively) the face of men's health. Movember has funded 1,200 men’s health programs in 21 countries, achieving significant breakthroughs in the way prostate and testicular cancer is diagnosed and treated.
