The inquest into Bronwyn’s disappearance hears that when detective Glenn Taylor attended Jon and Bronwyn’s former family home at Lennox Head, dozens of photographs lined the walls. Glenn only started investigating the unsolved case five years after Bronwyn disappeared, and Jon was still living at the same property in Sandstone Crescent. The pictures in the home included happy snaps of Jon and daughters Jodie, Chrystal and Lauren, but Bronwyn had been erased. Not one image in the house showed Bronwyn, the detective says. Jon’s lawyer Craig Leggat seizes his chance to question Glenn in the witness box, raising purported sightings of Bronwyn and other evidence he suggests points to the missing mother still being alive. But on the first day of the inquest, coroner Carl Milovanovich isn't convinced, saying that there were also still sightings of long-dead rockstar, Elvis Presley. With another four days of the inquest to go, the coroner gives his preliminary view that there isn’t any prospect in the world that Bronwyn has survived. For more than 140 years, the Lismore courthouse has stood firm through a procession of natural disasters. Withstanding everything nature has thrown at the town, the courthouse has witnessed a tragic roll call of cases. Cases such as the alleged shooting murder of local mother Carolyn Stuckey by her enraged husband, pharmacist Allan Stuckey. And cases like Bronwyn’s. In 2002, Bronwyn’s family and friends gather at the court for an inquest that explores in detail her disappearance and suspected murder. Proceedings stretch over five days in front of deputy state coroner, Carl Milovanovich. Day one begins with evidence from the first detective to ever conduct a thorough investigation into what happened to Bronwyn, Glenn Taylor. It is Glenn’s last official duty as a police officer after two decades as a detective on constant callout to serious crime scenes. He summarises the evidence of witnesses and concludes by stating that there is very strong circumstantial evidence a known person, namely Jon, was responsible for her death. Investigations reveal Jon’s fast work to get federal government welfare payments diverted from Bronwyn’s bank account to his account when she went missing. The single parent pension and other payments to Bronwyn to help her raise the children were cut off quickly after Jon said it should be going to him. Andy Read says Jon’s actions were not those of someone expecting Bronwyn to come back. A ‘lightbulb moment’ during filming with the podcast team at Hedley’s house results in Andy making a formal approach to the State Coroner, asking her to order a proper search under the slab of the house at Illawong. The retired detective sergeant Glenn Taylor has become highly suspicious of the slab as a result of fresh information. He says police should be looking there as a priority. Bronwyn Winfield, devote mother of two, disappeared 31 years ago in the surf town of Lennox Head. Investigative Journalist Hedley Thomas' latest podcast gives plenty of compelling reasons for why authorities should continue the search for the missing northern New South Wales mum. Thomas told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "Glenn Taylor, the retired detective sergeant, has said if he were running this case now, he would be asking the coroner to reopen the inquest or use her powers to organise a search beneath the slab of this property in Illalong," Hedley Thomas said.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Andy seeks expert advice about the x-raying of a concrete slab at a house in Illawong in The Shire – the place he refers to as God's Country, where he and Bronwyn grew up. After getting more intel about a concrete pour in May 1993, Andy and Madi visit and are more suspicious about what went on at the former building site in Illawong where Jon had been bricklaying. Jon's friend at the time, builder Glenn Webster, discloses knowledge of his former family home and an area which would have been easiest to dig to conceal a body. A neighbour reveals something Chrystal told her about the boot of the Ford Falcon. It alarmed her at the time and has troubled her since 1993. Season 2 of Bronwyn winds down with Season 3 returning early 2025. A video being shot behind-the-scenes with Madi, retired detective Glenn Taylor, Hedley, Andy, Michelle, Deb and Murray's daughter Mel, Karina and others will come first. What was going on in Jon's marriage to Bronwyn leading up to the separation in 1993? Why did he suddenly take a flight from Sydney one Sunday afternoon to return to the house in Lennox Head when Bronwyn moved back in with her daughters? What did Bronwyn say and do when he turned up at the front door? What did they talk about when he went inside the house? Did he know that Bronwyn was getting legal advice about her rights to the property? These questions and many more are asked in Jon's only interview with the then Detective Sergeant Glenn Taylor. Analysis of his answers throws up new leads as renowned forensic biologist Dr Kirsty Wright advises Hedley and Madi on how a possible crime scene should have been quarantined and examined. Nearly 1 out of 4 of the new garments we purchase end up being returned to the brand/retailer. While retail companies tend to keep the true data about returns under wraps, industry experts estimate that half of returned clothing is never worn by another person, ending up in the landfill instead. So yeah, returns are a pretty big deal across the entire retail industry (even outside of clothing). Amanda is joined by Emily Austin, who has a lot of experience in the world of returns, customer care, and the intersection of technology and returns. What is the true cost of returns? In this episode we get into the following: Why processing returns (also known as "reverse logistics") is very expensive How finding a fix for returns has become an entire industry Why retailers are changing their return policies The environmental and social impact of so many returns How the high volume of returns is both the result and cause of declining clothing quality. And yes, it is very ironic that retailers could reduce the number of returns by improving quality! Navigating the complexities of the current apparel supply chain can be cumbersome, particularly as consumers demand more sustainable and traceable alternatives and share concerns about greenwashing and labor conditions. As such, brands cannot afford to continue making sourcing decisions based exclusively on traditional pillars like cost, quality and lead times, according to Stuart McCready-Stocks, global brand director at fashion supply chain software provider Coats Digital. Coats Digital has long sought to help fashion brands build more transparent, sustainable supply chains, offering the GSDCost solution to help manufacturers better analyze all labor-related activities, whether it be cutting, sewing, inspecting or packing. The solution is designed to enable these suppliers to establish time-cost benchmarks for individual tasks and better estimate associated labor costs for finished goods. In a fireside chat with Sourcing Journal logistics editor Glenn Taylor, McCready-Stocks broke down apparel's current need to adopt a version of the “three P” methodology: people, planet and performance. Dive into the world of music and professional coaching with Glenn Taylor. Learn how he went from being CMO of the Houston Symphony to coaching individuals and teams on how to be great leaders and foster a culture of feedback. You'll also hear how impactful and fun organic content creation has been for Glenn and Skybound Coaching, not to mention the many mentors that guided Glenn on his journey. Episode Highlights[1:32] Glenn came to the world of mentorship and marketing via music. He got his degree in music business and then, after some years of work there, became the CMO of the Houston Symphony. He then transitioned to his own coaching business, though the path was not straight and simple and required he take some risks. [12:23] To Glenn, the definitions of coach and mentor are distinct, though the lines will be blurred at times as a mentor needs to don his coaching hat and vice versa. A coach is meant to guide you and, rather than giving you the answers, help draw them out of you. A mentor is more advice-based and shares their experiences and strategies that have worked for them over the years. [15:00] Glenn's mentors over the years have been many. First was Susan Lieberman, a professor of a leadership course. Then, Matthew VanBesien, the GM, and CEO of the Houston Symphony, taught him a lot about trust and risk. Pat Flynn, whom Glenn has never met, has inspired him as a master content creator. And finally, Chris Kenny, hired initially as a sales coach by Glenn became a mentor and friend. [29:45] Constructive criticism can be difficult for many, and Glenn notes how important it is to develop a mindset of welcoming feedback. He helps to create cultures of feedback with his clients and highlights the terminology of “developmental” or “improvement-based feedback” might be easier to digest. [35:55] Glenn has bought into the strategy of organic content creation since the inception of his business. He began writing and enjoying the creation of all forms of content when he first launched his website. It has resulted in an amazing website with a vast library of content showcasing his knowledge and expertise. Apparel production is often prone to defects—particularly in the finishing process—whether it be stains, holes, untrimmed threads or stitching defects. Unfortunately, brands often don't leverage systems that can gather insight that could determine the root of the problem and help train a factory on corrective actions. Even if a merchant is collecting high-quality data, it is often done manually and accessed by users across different departments and countries, according to Michael Bland, senior partnership director at supply chain compliance solutions provider QIMA. In a fireside chat with Sourcing Journal business editor Glenn Taylor, Bland discussed the importance of digitizing data collecting and reporting capabilities to mitigate product defects and reduce quality control issues. Yesterday's incredible YouTube video on LeBron's greatest peak from Thinking Basketball (Ben Taylor, please check out his work) got the boys thinking about which version of LeBron they think is the best/their favorite. Then they talk about two crappy teams that fired their head coaches after giving them situations that set them up to fail. Why wasn't Lloyd Peirce given enough time with the Hawks? Why is Glenn Taylor still the awful owner of the Timberwolves? Then its on the the 4th seeded (holy shit) New York Knicks and the incredible season from Julius Randle, RJ Barrett's weirdly consistent/inconsistent play, and the coaching job Thibs has done. Then they talk about the 2020 rookie class, and quelling the thirst of boomer desires to play 90's brick ball in the post.
On today's episode I get real about the Timberwolves struggle and the main I blame the most Ryan Saunders. And I beg Glenn Taylor to make a choice to give Timberwolves fans hope.

Three times XTERRA World Champion Lesley Paterson is the “little Scottish lassie who packs a mean punch.” In this interview, Lesley talks briefly about her early triathlon days and later success in the offroad world. I wanted to get Lesley on for two reasons, first, because I knew she’d been working with Chris Kresser and the Taymount Clinic to resolve longstanding gut and Lyme issues. Secondly, I wanted Lesley to talk about her new book, The Brave Athlete: Calm the F*ck Down and Rise to the Occasion. Lesley co-authored the book with her sports psychologist husband Simon Marshall, PhD and I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to get the most out of their brain to maximise endurance. Sorry about the swearing! My goal was not to offend. Honest. Here’s the outline of this interview with Lesley Paterson: [00:00:00] PHAT FIBRE, Article: How to Use MCT Oil to Fuel an IRONMAN Triathlon, and, How Endurance Training Affects Carbohydrate Tolerance by Megan Roberts, MSc, and Tommy Wood MD, PhD. Everybody has their favorite college story to tell at get-togethers and barbeques. Students from Oklahoma State University's Class of 1959 all have one story in common, the tale of Jimbo the bull. In this episode of Amplified Oklahoma, we'll hear two very different memories of Jimbo from the OOHRP’s archives, one from Glenn Taylor and the other from Walter Hackney, two animal husbandry majors. Later, Dr. Mary Larson from the OSU Library talks about the influence of memory and experience on oral history. Amplified Oklahoma is a production of the Oklahoma Oral History Research Program at the Oklahoma State University Library. What do you do if nothing has worked to fix your gut? One option is to get a new gut microbiota. A fecal transplant is a technique wherein you can replace your gut bacteria with the gut bacteria of a healthy donor. Today we speak with a pioneer in fecal transplant therapy, Glenn Taylor of the Taymount clinic.

In this episode, I tell the story of my own battle with eczema. I begin by describing my extraordinary recovery from extreme eczema using the right probiotic. I then describe how a more recent relapse led me to discover the incredible importance of mitigating soap exposure when gut-related approaches don't seem to work. In this episode, you'll find the following, and more: Chris Kresser’s interview with Glenn Taylor on fecal microbiota transplants inspired this episode. My own story with eczema. Recovery with Garden of Life's Primal Defense (now Primal Defense Ultra). Mild re-occurrence tied to poor gut, poor sleep, high work stress. Key feature of an effective probiotic for me is S. boullardii plus bacteria. Prostaglandin E2, derived from arachidonic acid, plays a central role in preventing eczema by water-proofing the skin. Humidity can "hide" eczema by preventing water loss through a dysfunctional skin barrier. Minimizing exposure to soap with kitchen gloves and by avoiding unnecessary hand washing are central to preventing topical aggravation of eczema. Topical application of a fat -- such as shea butter -- after soap exposure can mitigate the damage caused by the soap. It's important to pay attention to both the internal, systemic causes of eczema and the external, topical factors that will aggravate eczema once it has started.
How does our microbiome affect our health? Is it possible that a "poop transplant" could reverse autoimmune disease? While that sounds a little crazy, if you listen to this podcast, it might start to make sense. Right now, FMTs are being used in the United States to cure life-threatening C. difficile infections, where medication has failed. Internationally, clinics are doing research into FMTs in the treatment of autoimmune disease. Today, I'm interviewing Glenn Taylor, director of the Taymount Clinic in the UK. He describes the science behind the transplants. Then, we hear from two patients who have received the procedure: one for C. difficile and one for multiple sclerosis.

As Alberta's population continues to go up, the quality of life in many of its towns and cities is going down. Many municipalities struggle to build and maintain adequate roads and sidewalks and cope with the increased pressure that larger populations put on garbage collection, recycling, snow removal and policing; let alone ensure that our leisure and sports facilities remain up to par. Glenn Taylor says that the problem is not just a shortage of funds. He believes that the way in which core infrastructure and services are funded, as well as the diminished role that our locally elected officials play in the decision making process, are all part of the problem.. Mr. Taylor argues that Alberta needs to shorten the distance between the taxpayer and the spender. He wants municipalities to keep the education portion of our property tax, and the province to provide full funding for education from general revenue. He says that changes to the Municipal Government Act are needed so that Alberta municipalities have more dependable and predictable sources of funding in future. Speaker: Glenn Taylor Glenn Taylor is the leader of the Alberta Party. He settled in Hinton, Alberta in 1986, and is a three-term Mayor of the town. He has also served as Board Chair of the Grande Alberta Economic Region as well as the Rural Alberta Development Fund. He is a past director of the Alberta Utilities Consumer Advocate Advisory Board and the Foothills Research Institute.
