At Stripping the Dipping, we pride ourselves on sharing a broad range of perspectives from across the motorsport community. Darren Cox fought his way into a career in motorsport and ended up with a film about part of that journey, in which he was played by Orlando Bloom! It was at Nissan that Darren dreamt up a marketing project called GT Academy, GT Academy, a show in which gamers were given the opportunity to compete for a drive in motorsport. It ended up in over 120 countries around the world and its success led to the film Gran Turismo! Latterly, he founded The Race Media, which includes WTF1 and therace.com - but that's only half of the story. Keep your ears peeled for Darren's motor racing pseudonym, under which he won the Silverstone 24 hours - and which F1 driver most surprised him in the way they took to the world of sim racing. Let us know what you think of this episode in the comments, come and find us on Twitter or Instagram @StripTheDip!
