This is not my typical podcast. I speak about the many manifestations of domestic violence and the pervasiveness of it in our society. LOS CASTIGOS DE “Bill” CLINTON Por el abogado de inmigración Ruben L. Reyes Ayer, en una consulta una persona me comento sobre la amnistía de Clinton. “Cual amnistía?”, le pregunte. Y pues me comento que fue Clinton en los 80’s quien hizo la amnistía que se reconoce hasta la fecha como el 245(i) – la habilidad de poder pagar una multa de mil dólares si su petición fue sometido antes del 30 de abril del 2001. Lo tuve que corregir, y decirle que actualmente fue un republicano – Reagan, quien hizo la amnistía con la ayuda de demócratas. Lo que hizo Clinton – cual parece que ahora se le olvido a su esposa corriendo para la casa blanca – es que la ley que paso Clinton en 1996 – nos ha perjudicado más que nada. Los castigos de 10 y 20 años por estar en el país sin documentos fueron hechos por Clinton. Subió el requisito de tener de 7 a 10 años presencia física en el país para calificar para la Cancelación de Deportación. Limito drásticamente el número de personas quien puede calificar para obtener ese remedio de deportación. Los Castigos De Clinton Nos Quedaron Bien Mal También hay muchas familias que no pueden arreglar por sus hijos porque ellos no pueden pedir los perdones requeridos para lograr el ajuste – esto es cuando los padres entraron sin documentos. Esto es directamente el resultado de lo que paso Clinton. Ahora su esposa con quiere decir que están con nosotros después de darnos la navaja en el frente.
