Hello Procrasti-Nation! It's been a few crazy, busy weeks but the podcast is back! I talk about finally visiting my hometown after 10 months which led me to learn more about it. Hello Procasti-Nation! In this week's episode I speak about ‘The Two Escobars', cycling proficiency tests and 80's football. As usual, please listen, share and review. Fun fact about this episode: If you listen carefully at the 2-minute mark, you can hear my dog snoring in the background.
Hello Procasti-Nation! This week's episode is all about a weird and brilliant documentary I watched called 'Lift'. As always, please listen to, share and support the podcast as best you can :)
Hello Procrasti-Nation! It's May! and may I tell you: this week's podcast is amazing! It's another ESPN '30 for 30' documentary deep dive and this time it's all about The Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair! For those that don't know, Ric Flair was a legendary wrestler in WCW and WWE and an icon across many, many platforms and generations, known for his lavish persona and hilarious, viral promo videos. Wooooo! He also, I found out, properly dedicated himself to wrestling and entertainment to a maniacal level; being the consummate professional meant having a very precarious personal life. Who was the real Ric? Can famous people lead normal lives? Is the need to be “a man's man” just a cover up for fear? I try to find this out, as well as speaking about loads of other stuff including my childhood wrestling days and, if I'm being honest, the last ten minutes of this episode is just a ridulous meltdown! It really is a brilliant podcast about a complex man who for both better and worse has had a well-lived life, so put on your favourite lizard shoes and enjoy! Listen, Share, Download and Review :)
Hello Procrasti-Nation! This week I learned all about professional bowling! Continuing through the wonderful '30 for 30' documentary series by ESPN, I picked another one at random. The documentary is called The Bad Boy Of Bowling and it is hilarious and low-key amazing! It's about the rockstar of the Professional Bowlers Association, Pete Weber, a beer drinking, profanity-laced prodigy of the lanes! It was incredible and I get very excited learning about it all, along with other topics such as professional wresting and recreational activities post-pandemic. Thanks for the support as usual- please do subscribe, download, share and all that good stuff! It really does help :)
Hello Procrasti-Nation! In this episode I learn all about alternative therapy. This is hands-down the daftest episode I've recorded. Join me as we find out about homeopathy, ice baths and which celebrities dabble in leech therapy. I also tell a hugely personal (and embarrassing) story from my past when I went to prescribed hypnotherapy! All this and loads more! Get ready to laugh A LOT! Don't forget to download, share and leave a review on your podcast platform of choice. It really does mean the world. Thank you! :) You can also find me on twitch: www.twitch.tv/robingrainger
Hello Procrasti-Nation! This week, I watched an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary called ‘Be Water' about the legendary Bruce Lee, and it prompted me to share what I learned about the iconic martial artist and iconic action movie star. I found out loads about his life, unwavering determination, incredible athleticism and personal philosophy which is as prevalent today as it was when he was alive. If you know nothing about Bruce Lee, you will become a fan and if you are already a Bruce Lee fan, you will love him even more! I also delve into my memories of watching his films as a kid and there's some lovely nostalgic nonsense in this episode too, including my unsuccessful foray into martial arts in rural Aberdeenshire. Enjoy! As always, thanks for supporting the podcast. Please do Listen, Like, Subscribe, Share and Review :) P.S. Follow me on twitch for more silliness and video games :) www.twitch.tv/robingrainger
Hello Procrasti-Nation! This week's episode is a shorter Starts Monday all about everyone's French comic book hero- Asterix! I adored this series of comic books growing up, each book was a low-key, wholesome story about a village of Gauls fending off the looming invasion of the Romans, and was littered with amazing humour, brilliant wordplay, cultural icons and wee life lessons too. I devoured all these brilliant stories and reread them over and over. I share everything I've learned about Asterix comics, their cultural importance and how vital it is to rediscover things that make you happy You don't have to be a comic book fan to enjoy this episode. Hopefully it just inspires you to grab your favourite book and take time out from the seriousness of the world by remembering to embrace some silliness! Thanks as always for supporting the podcast. Don't forget to Download, Share and Review :) P.S: If you like video games and more silly chat, follow me on Twitch: www.twitch.tv/robingrainger

Hello Procrasti-Nation! This week's episode focuses on the phenomenon that is reality television! I also solve a reality show mystery by the end of the episode so listen out for that revelation! Please do Review, Subscribe and Share. Thanks! P.s. Follow me on twitch: www.twitch.tv/robingrainger

Hello Procrasti-Nation! This week's episode is all about technology. From the trusty Nokia 3210 to the potential for everlasting life, it's all here! Were we better off playing with pogs and pokemon cards and arguing with dial up connections or is unlimited access to information the way forward? Are we paying a higher price by sharing all our personal information? Why do billionaires care so much about the moon? This is without doubt the silliest podcast so far, with shout outs to old playstation games, technological predictions, evil vacuum cleaners and a final thought for humanity in the future. Enjoy! :) Please do Review, Subscribe and Share. Thanks! P.s. Follow me on twitch: www.twitch.tv/robingrainger

Hello Procrasti-Nation! The podcast is back! It's a new year with a new structure; the original concept for the show was about Robin fighting his laziness and learning new things so with that in mind, each episode now has a theme. This one is all about nostalgia. What started as a simple childhood recipe request led Robin to examine his own experiences with nostalgia, why we look back on certain things and ultimately if nostalgia is helpful or if it traps us in the past. He finds out some really interesting scientific facts all while sharing silly stories about skateboarding, acting auditions and loads more. So whether you collect pogs, love lego or have trouble staying in the present, this is the show for you. As always, please Listen, Review, Subscribe and Share :) Twitter: @RobinGrainger
