July 29, 2026 - Season 17, Episode 1 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I start by discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers reporting to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe on Tuesday for their 2026 training camp. Coach Nate Bollinger shares his journey from growing up in York, Pennsylvania to becoming the Associate Head Coach at American University.Nate attended Delaware Valley before transferring to Millersville. He set a program record 50 points in a single game and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Shortly after graduating from Millersville he accepted his first coaching position at York College under Coach Matt Hunter - in addition to working the third shift at a juvenile detention center.After one season at York he joined Scott Cherry's coaching staff at High Point University as the Director of Player Development. In his first season at High Point the team captured the Big South Conference regular season championship.Following three seasons at HPU he moved onto Saint Vincent College under Coach D.P. Harris. He helped the team go 22-5 and subsequently was named to the NABC 30-Under-30 Team.Coach Dane Fischer hired Nate to his staff at William & Mary in 2019 as the Director of Basketball Operations. He was promoted to an Assistant Coach in 2021 and then moved onto American University in 2023.Coach Bollinger was promoted from an Assistant Coach to an Associate Head Coach following the 2024-25 season. The Eagles won both the Patriot League regular season and conference tournament in 2024-25.

"Meet the Helpers" As Director of Programs, Sarah Goehring supports educators and caregivers learning from the life and work of Fred Rogers. Sarah serves as the Director of the Fred Rogers Scholars Program for undergraduate students at Saint Vincent College, supports communities of learning for children's helpers, and assists with programmatic and event coordination for the Institute. Prior to her current role, Sarah joined the Institute as a Fred Rogers Scholar and work-study student while earning a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Saint Vincent College. She then earned an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Vincent College while working as a Graduate Assistant at the Institute. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and son. Kenzee's role as a program associate allows her to celebrate and convey Fred Rogers' values and long-lasting impact on our neighborhood and beyond. Her involvement in Educators' Neighborhood inspires educators to connect in the spirit of empathy, kindness, and community. Kenzee engages in the study of archival material through various speaking and research opportunities. She also collaborates with undergraduate students in the Fred Rogers Scholars program as they embody Fred's important values through community outreach efforts. Before her role as a program associate, she worked at the Fred Rogers Institute as a work-study while obtaining her B.A. in English with a secondary education certification at Saint Vincent College. She was a Fred Rogers Scholar as well. She acquired her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from SVC during the fall of 2025. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her border collie, Winston, and read.

Steelers DT Cameron Heyward finally addressed the media to talk about his contract situation a few days ago so Alex and I completely parse all that he had to say on that topic. We go over what it sounds like Cameron Heyward is waiting in terms of his contract being adjusted, what he might and might not get as an end result and the several types of pushbacks he has received concerning the topic. Would Cameron Heyward seriously consider missing games in 2025 due to his contract situation? We discuss that question and also go over several other questions related to his contract wants and how that has been handled by his side this offseason. Keeping with the Heyward theme, Alex and I discuss Steelers TE Connor Heyward in this show. We talk about how safe his spot on the 53-man roster seems to be right now and if the Steelers should look outside the organization for a possibly upgrade to be their fourth tight end. Speaking of the tight end position, Alex and I discuss an old breakdown that former New England Patriots HC Bill Belichick had when it comes to what he looked for in his tight ends and the roles for each on the depth chart. That makes for a fun conversation when applying to the Steelers current group of tight ends. We also go over Belichick's old thoughts on offense and other offensive position groups. With the all-22 tape from the Steelers first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars now fully digested by both of us, Alex and I recap the good, bad, ugly, and other notable things that we observed.
